Great range of goods here. Clothing, shoes, balls, gloves and of course clubs. Bought a set of irons from here, happily let me try them on the range first. Only concern is they let me have the exact set they let me try on the range and my only thought was, how many other people had tried them before? So at least one of the clubs wasn't brand new

Excellent customer service! The driver my son wanted wasn't in stock, but was invited to try a demo. A couple of helpful tips were given by Gray (I thinks that's his name) & also he encouraged him to try 2 other drivers to which we found the one that suited him best. Thanks we will be back

Excellent service even when garment was not in stock. Phone calls to Dundee and Belfast to get one sent over. As a visitor to the area, collection at Bournemouth was not an option. I was told that store would phone home when garment arrived in store-2 days later I received message and with a suggested arrival time to home address...excellent service.

GREAT service at American Golf here in Bournemouth-Christchurch. I've always found the staff really helpful. They really know their stuff as well and recently sought advice on a driver club head and was pleasantly surprised at the knowledge, recommendations and time taken by them. When you're served by staff like this, they make you feel like you are the only person in the shop, but on that day, it really was quite busy and they didn't rush through choices and advice. Thank you.

Very helpful and if you want to try on or try clubs they are always happy to help. Bought gloves today and advice given and got me to try on glove before purchase to check. Attention to detail is good just wish, as always, they would expand their range and colours if ladies golf clothing.

American Golf used to be a value for money store but over the years prices have risen considerably and better value can be found at local golf club pro shops in many cases.I find the staff tend to pounce on you rather than allowing you to browse freely so it makes me want to get what I need and get out.I know they want to be helpful but just be there if a client needs you rather than "in the face".

Ideally located at the Iford range. Well informed staff and a large store with corresponding stock. If you want to try club then it is easy to book a test slot in the range which is fully equipped with computerised equipment to help you choose the best clubs for your game.
