A challenging course physically! Very hilly, back nine gets easier. Course knowledge is vital as there are a lot of tee shots where you cannot see where your ball lands. Also, bunkers are hidden near greens by undulating fairways. If you do not have course knowledge then I recommend you print off a course map and take it with you. Nice Club house and the Ham egg and chips was decent.

We're 240 acres of environmentally award winning golf course located up on the south downs. South downs way national trail passes through the course from where you can enjoy some of our 50acres of wildflower meadows.

Great download golf course with lots and lots of undulations! Greens a little bumpy and fairways still recovering from last summer. Very enjoyable round at a very welcoming club.

Dont miss out on this gem of a course. Early morning round - tee off into the sun! Some of the views are really spectacular. Very good course with excellent greens and fairways. Don't go into the rough and expect to find your ball though.

It's not flat! However the uphill stretch covers the first 4 holes. After that it's not so bad. Greens were in excellent condition and the wind was friendly. Due to the undulating topography in the summer months some fairways are almost impossible to hold but I guess that is part of the examination.

Very good club with friendly staff. Course is exceptionally hilly but you should expect that as it sits on the top of the South Downs. Played a very hot day with little wind so take plenty of fluids with you. Course is varied with several blind tee shots and others that sit high above the fairways. Greens are true and fast but fair to read.

Played a week ago. Course in extremely good condition - greens are large and in superb condition. Some great holes spoilt only by one (boring) and two (ridiculous layout with a slope that will never let you play second shot off of fairway). Other holes make up for these two. Nice clubhouse with friendly staff and good food at reasonable prices. Would recommend a visit.

Hard walking, brilliant views, tough course with many undulations, greens superb. Played during heat wave, difficult to hold fairways on some holes. Our competition won with 40 points, in the main average score around 30... Enjoyed the day very much.....may think if using s buggy !!!.

This is a great little club with a newly refurbished pro-shop and good catering and plenty of parking. The course is challenging mentally and physically and the reward is some stunning views. Value for money it is great but tricky greens let it down a bit in my book.
