Reviews of Congo Falls Adventure Golf
K. W.
Went here with my son and had a great experience. Really pleasant and smart staff. The course was immaculately kept with no damaged grass harming the game (such a nice change from the usual adventure golf you get else), and with nothing too gimmicky. Lots of cool features as you go around. Best adventure golf I’ve ever been to (and been trying a few lately).
T. J.
So much better than the rubbish mini-golf in Cabot. A variety of challenging holes, perfectly balanced to be enjoyable for all ages and abilities. Our group was aged 7-70+ and the scores were remarkably close throughout.
Water hazards, shortcuts, and more keep each hole interesting and unique. Took about an hour to get round, with 5 of us.
Be prepared to wait while other groups finish holes in front of you.
All in all, good family fun that felt like pretty decent value for money @ £10 per adult.
D. B.
Always a great day out here!
Fantastic value for money and great fun for all the family old or young!
The staff are helpful and polite and there is a cafe where you can grab a bit to eat, ice cream, coffee or a beer!
The facility is also superbly done and great fun!
See you again soon.
J. W.
£10 for an adult is obviously too much for a crazy golf course, but it's a great crazy golf course. There are water features, fun surprises, even a raft to pull yourself across over a river. Staff were great, and our kid had a great time.
C. D.
Great crazy golf! The course itself was really well laid out and each hole was different enough to not be repetitive. The inventive water hazards made it really fun, as did the rope bridge across the water and having to pull ourselves across the river using a cart and rope pulley! (There's an alternative accessible route for both for wheelchairs and pushchairs etc.)
As it's on a proper golf course, there's also access to the clubhouse which serves Costa coffees and hot food, as well as alcohol. So you can get a bite to eat before or after you play and sit out in the sun if the weather is nice. We were lucky when we went on the August bank holiday weekend that it was gloriously sunny and for a little while it really felt like we could have been on holiday.
J. D.
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We booked the 10am slot and had the course to ourselves for the first few holes which was great! Very well maintained and suitable for all ages. Impressed with the service and COVID friendly set up. The online booking system was very easy to use. Looks like a great place for a drink and some food too, will have to try that next time. Easily the best Crazy Golf course we’ve been to in the UK. We have already recommended it to family and friends and will look forward to our next visit.
Updated! Have now eaten here and the service was amazing and food was delicious!
R. P.
Always enjoy visiting. Second visit. Would like to come more often but it's a fair old treck from where I live. I played the crazy golf and had a go in the driving range. Maybe some other time I'd like to try the full course so can't review that. I see they also had golf lessons but can't review that. The food and drink was nice. Would be happy to go back again.
H. R.
Great vibes and great course! Love the theme and the water courses added extra danger 😆. Really polite staff as weren't bothered when we were a tad late! Great evening overall!
D. T.
Loved this adventure golf. Great fun for the whole family. Good place to have a drink afterwards to. Didn't try the food. Definitely worth going back again.
M. W.
Fantastic crazy golf course which is extremely fun to play and the site is well maintained.
I Would highly recommend a visit. - Staff are very helpful and friendly, and there is plenty of parking on site. also, recommend the cafe on site, the drinks where amazing. 🤩
A. A.
Very nice - clean, well maintained, ample parking, good café with Costa coffee and some nice cake/snacks.
The 18 holes are medium level challenging, but none that are super impossible like you sometimes find at crazy golf courses. The water features are amazing and kept very clean. There's some really fun features and areas to explore and a few twists that take you by surprise.
Bravo! One of the very best for sure! Keep up the good work!
P. W.
Classic modern crazy golf course with well-engineered holes in an excellent design of water features and scenery. The water is a scary blue colour and everything works really well. For me, not quite crazy enough as an adult but the kids had a great time and it was all very achievable.
P. F.
Clearly, when it comes to crazy golf, you get what you pay for. Well laid out, with water at every turn, we found it to be well worth paying a little more than some of the local competitors.
Had a great time and will certainly head back again later in the summer.
B.
Fancy crazy golf. Not the biggest but something quite different. We went on a very hot day and to be honest the waterfalls made us want to go for a swim. Decent facilities in hand at the adjoining golf club for food and drinks.
E. C.
What an absolutely amazing hidden little gem! I brought the kids here today to play mini golf on The Congo Falls and we couldn’t get over how well kept and imaginative it was ! You really felt like you had entered another world for a while! I really need to mention the outstanding customer service we received . The young lady in the golf kiosk gave old fashioned lovely customer service with a smile and it seemed like nothing would be too much trouble to ask her. We stopped at the cafe afterwards and were met again with outstanding , friendly and fabulous service from the gentleman behind the counter . It was the cherry on the cake of a wonderful afternoon .
N. P.
Stopped off here on a sunny Friday afternoon after seeing the sign from the road and had a round of adventure golf. It’s a really fun 18 hole course which has been imaginatively put together with features like a raft that you pull from one side to the other, various tunnels and water features and caves. It was good value at £29.20 for a family of four. The cafe has a great view over the driving range across to the hills and is a sunny spot for a cold drink. There was a good range of choice of beers and ciders on draught. The whole site is tidy and well maintained, there’s tonnes of free parking and clean toilets. It was open until 2030 and the driving range is floodlit. The staff were all really friendly and the service for food was fast - we had panini, wedges and stuffed crust pizza. Costa Coffee is served here along with a big range of their snacks. Highly recommend this place for a family outing or stop-off. We are en route to Cornwall and cut across from the m4 as there were long delays and it turned a boring journey into a fun family time.
V. L.
Spent a lovely afternoon here with the family , we all love crazy golf and this is the best course we have ever been to. Its immaculately kept and the children loved each themed area. Will definitely come back again when we are in Bristol
A. C.
Beautiful course. Very well maintained. Definitely one of my favourite courses we’ve ever played (played a lot around the world). So glad we stopped on our way into Bristol city centre.
A.
Best adventure golf I've been to! Took my nephew & rest of household (including 1 disabled adult) &we had the best time. Accessible for wheelchairs/mobility scooters & a nice little cafe to have a cuppa after your game! Super friendly staff & really helpful!! Will definitely come again
h. m.
Brilliant for the family, 18 holes where every hole is different and it has waterfall/ animal theme. Love the bridge and the moving parts on the course. There is a costa with cakes, drinks and ice cream. But has only 1 male/female toilet and 1 disable toilet. The disabled toilet should really need radar key so people who are not disabled don’t go in it. Love the colour of the golf balls. Very interactive for the kids. Had plenty of parking with disabled spaces but the roads to get there are tight and small. It says it’s disabled friendly but would disagree for when getting to the course as the rocks by the gate arnt very accessible so had to put the disabled person on the path.
Overall a 8/10 just a few improvements to make.
K. R.
Hadn't heard of Congo Falls but stumbled across it when searching for "outdoor things to do near Bristol", and so glad I did. Really well put together course, clean, helpful and friendly staff, and we had so much fun! Pretty expensive, but I think we'll still be returning at some point.
F. o. (.
Best golf place we've ever been too. Great selection of holes, not too challenging and not too easy. Fantastic and immersive themeing. Not too many people meant no waiting to take your turn. Lovely cafe on site and a pleasant spot to relax afterwards. We'll definitely be recommending to others and likely to return in the future.
A. M.
Amazing place! Great course and reasonably priced (except for 1.85 for a bottle of fanta). Would recommend and visit again....(felt like been on holiday due to the nice sun and course setting)
K. B.
Brilliant afternoon followed by a very nice pizza.
M. R.
Best crazy golf around in Bristol. Good day out, with challenging holes and plenty of features to look at. The cafe provides good food at a reasonable price
L. M.
We took our 3 young grandkids to play crazy golf for the first time and we spent the whole time laughing.
But the online payment process is probably the worst I can remember using. It took ages trying to register and book a slot the first time, and I gave up trying to get back into the system on our return visit. It failed to recognise either my username (email address) or my password so no I couldn't reset. After going round a loop for 15 minutes, my husband booked in with new details. And he didn't manage to do this first time....
Congo Falls really should look at this, as they must lose business with this electronic booking process
Hence only 4* given.
I. J.
Really good fun. Some of the holes are a deceptive challenge too.
The layout is fun, especially the thunderous sound of the waterfalls.
N. D.
Very well kept, the raft was cool, and the hole where you hit into water worked really well. The cafe was also nice with good views of the main course
V. B.
Excellent fun even in the rain! Lovely course with lots of fun ideas, the kids thoroughly enjoyed it.
Will definitely be returning.
Only idea which could make it more fun would be a score pad or paper of some sort.
But that wouldn't have worked in the rain anyway! 🤭👍⛳
L. S.
Lovely little outing, great variation in difficulty across the course, fun for families, couples or going solo! Helpful staff and lovely cafe there too ☺️
C. M.
Had a fabulous afternoon at Congo Falls Adventure Golf, beautiful weather and a lovely novelty course, great day out and the café is amazing too, thoroughly recommend!
A. P.
Fantastic 18hole themed crazy golf course .Takes about 45 minutes to go round, best to book online in advance as busy in good weather. Cafe on site too.
S. B.
Family had an absolute blast here this morning. Super fun course, easy online booking, immaculate with plenty of sanitation stations.
Topped of with some lovely treats in the cafe 🍰☕
L. C.
Easy to book. Holes are children /beginner friendly.
K. W.
Great adventure golf course. Really clean, tidy, well maintained. Loved the water features. Highly recommended. Stopped for a hot drink afterwards and staff in cafe very welcoming and friendly. The cafe is really well run and a lovely space in itself. Will definitely be back!
G. C.
Good fun for all at a reasonable price. Nicely laid out little course - took 4 of us between an hour and hour and a half to get around.
Bit annoying you have to sign up and register with an account just to look at availability but small inconvenience.
C. M.
Nice staff well laid out nice spacing between groups so your not rushed or waiting for the group infront cafe has good food free parking also very nice
A. S.
Fantastic crazy golf - really good fun! Nice staff, clean, great cafe, ample parking.
I. Y.
Well run, clean, top notch adventure golf.
t. b.
Lots of fun, it's easy to park, very well organised and has a lovely club house to stop at for drinks or Icecreams.
A. M.
Great crazy golf. 18 holes ranging from easy to tricky with some cool features I've not seen before like a mini rope pull 'raft' that takes you from one hole to another. The holes have no par, so you merely tally up the amount of puts for each . Great fun. The course is modern with a cafe and toilets close by. Parking is on site which gets busy as site is shared with driving range/course next to it.
G. D.
Brilliant family fun, well themed with unusual features, not at all tired compared to other similar, local ones
C. P.
Wasn't sure what to expect as more crazy golf courses look like they've been left in the 70's but this was a beautiful, fun, and modern looking course! Perfect length of time to get around with children too. Highly recommend the cafe too
M. J.
Very good family fun. Takes approximately 45 mins to complete but will be longer if particularly busy.
m. k.
Probably one of the best mini golf places we’ve been to 👍
J. M.
Very good well organised. Nice cafe looking out over golf range
D. A.
Good hour out, need to go round twice really, nice course, clean.
V. M.
Brilliant scenery, course is good, a lot of the holes are very basic which makes it good for all ages. Price is reasonable and well worth it. Toilet (there is only one and a disabled) is tiny, floor is always covered in water and it is just generally unpleasant..
Bar/cafe area is nice and very good selection of food and drink
L. R.
Great day here. One of the best adventure golf courses I have been on. Well laid out and imaginative holes on the course
B. R.
Awesome family fun. Very well spaced out and plenty of adventure to be had. 18 fantastic holes with plenty of water around the course. By far the best crazy golf we have been to in the South/South West so we are very lucky to have this right on out doorstep. We will definitely be back in the near future.
D. H.
Probably the best Congo Falls I have visited. Beautiful location and very well maintained. Coffee good too !
l. g.
Great fun! The best crazy golf course I have played
R. H.
This has got to be the best adventure golf around. Only place that comes close is Florida. Absolutely loved it can't wait to play again.
M. M.
Great place for a family round off golf then back the club house for cake snacks and a drink
D. G.
First time visit and had a fantastic time. Very well built and a great layout. Had me on my hands and knees to retrieve my ball from the water at one point, and had my family in stitches.
Would be great to have a little drink/snack kiosk/machine half way round.
We will be back soon!
R. C.
This place is incredible! One of the best mini golf courses I’ve been too! The holes are quite easy but the landscaping is beautiful and there are waterfalls everywhere. So lucky to have this in our area :-)
G. G.
Unfortunately no bathing allowed, great little course, welcoming club.
L. C.
Brilliant evening..weather obvs perfect children and adults have great fun ..Great features
B. B. 1.
Fantastic little crazy golf course for a bit of family fun!😊
j. l.
At fantastic fun time for family and friends. We have visited 3 times and every visit is just as fun as the last. All staff are very friendly and welcoming.
s. c.
Really goid crazy golf. Well priced
A. K.
Always have a lot of fun here. Absolutely love the experience especially with the water falls, the rope bridge and the pulling bridge. (I have no idea what to call it) A fab day with my parents. Always gets super competitive.
Highly recommend.
M. W.
Really enjoyed a game of crazy golf, we then had food from the cafe and sat outside for some time relaxing in the sun. If you are in the area and need an hour or so of fun - adults - kids or kids at heart. I can recommend coming here.
G. W.
Really enjoyed our second visit here. Pretty busy but we didn't have to stand around much during the round even though a huge party of 7 were ahead of us (maximum is meant to be 6!). Holes are challenging without being stupidly hard (Swindon crazy golf) and it doesn't stink of tyre rubber (again much better than Swindon crazy golf). Been twice now. Road on the way in is a bit hairy though
S. B.
Great hour of crazy fun golf
C. B.
Absolutely amazing mini golf course! Highly recommended and stunning, the waterfalls are gorgeous and set this as one of the best adventure golf courses around, a "must try" for everyone. I'll definitely be going back!
J. F.
It was so hot the day we went and we LOVED the water aspect of the course, which made the heat bearable. It was great fun and very imaginative so I'm sure we would have enjoyed it whatever the weather. Well worth the higher price.
L. H.
We love congo falls such a fun course. They are also very understanding and helpful our last visit was a delayed Birthday treat for our daughter and two close friends, but unfortunately the day before she got told to self isolate. Congo falls were fantastic and gave us the option to re-book another date or have a gift voucher so we can re-book when convenient. Super customer service, thanks very much.
N. H.
Decent course though the only real challenging bit is the speed of the green, as it's pretty flat 95% of the time. So whilst the scenery looks good the only real crazy and fun hole is 17 where if you miss the ball goes into the water and comes out further down the course.
K. K.
Amazing crazy golf, best I’ve been to. Large area with lots to see whilst playing. Has a Costa coffee on site as well as ice creams and food at reasonable prices. 4 of us playing it’s took just over an hour. Would recommend
R. R.
Didn't actually play the Congo but did play the main course which has now become a regular for me and my 3 mates, actually love the course Admaration and full credit to green keepers fantastic job they do,,also big thanks to all the clubhouse staff and the pro always such a friendly warm welcome every time we play there also we are playing there again on Thursday can't wait 😀
Regards Ron Russell
H. B.
So much fun! Had a great day with partner.
N. H.
Brilliant customer service, and a well-designed golf course.
T. T.
Easily the best crazy golf in bristol! Decent prices, friendly staff and really well designed brilliant for all age groups👌Will come again. Looks like you have room to expand as well👀🤙Also be nice if you could book the driving range as a double package.
D. H.
Really great Crazy Golf course, best one I've played on.
Lots of different challenges and well laid out, worth a visit.
Nice café if you fancy a coffee and cake afterwards.
L.
Think the pics make it looks better than it is. Really lovely staff, and it's not very busy but it's more about the aesthetic, pretty much 70% of the holes were the same basic one in a different place. Got a bit boring, not very challenging but very pretty!
N. C.
Really fun crazy golf course to play would highly recommend to play it.
C. D.
Myself and my two sons (13 & 11) really enjoyed our first time. Modern and fun setup, will come again
C. R.
Really lovely crazy golf course and lovely helpful stafg
M. M.
The best, most epic crazy golf course we've ever played at! Putting the ball into streams, through waterfalls and even in the opposite direction to the hole for your first shot! If you like crazy golf - you won't get any better (except maybe at Las Vegas!).
c. g.
Great fun, very clean and very organised place. Fun for kids and adults. 👍
J. P.
It was a tough start to the game, with myself missing a few easy shots on the straights but ultimately, using the curvature of the course and the incredible cross wind on the day I was able to bag myself a big W on the back of a 1 point lead. Nail biting stuff, quality content and better company
K. T.
As a family we've been 3 times now, always really enjoyable. The time slots are great as there are never too many people or queues. Very clean and tidy and my kids love the ice cream selection!
K. B.
What an excellent place , good fun for the whole family recommend it to anyone
S. M.
Very good fun lots of water !!
E. A.
Very fun, loads of interesting courses to play, loved being able to putt into the water and then straight down to the hole, all the props and waterfall.. Very cool, I'll definitely be back, sanitisation and social distance rules are implemented properly, the prices for drink and food aren't too bad and the food itself is quite decent in comparison to many other places I've been to, so all in all... I'd recommend it 100%
L. C.
Just visited with my family! Definitely worth the money, everyone enjoyed them self! So much better than the indoor one in Cabot circus!! Will 100% return as the waterfalls make it more fun!!!
Also nice to have a drink in the café bar after !
J. S.
Super fun morning with daughter ! Very well set out and highly maintained crazy golf course , nice little cafe after 18 holes for a coffee, definitely recommend for an enthralling hour 👌
T. U.
Lots of fun, great for kids and a family afternoon out. Lovely coffee shop/bar to refresh in after. Would really recommend.
M. G.
First family visit to this new local attraction, very surprised at how good it is! Probably one of the nicest crazy golf venues I've been to. Spotlessly clean, pre booked time slots and a cafe to have a cold drink afterwards. Great place and highly recommended.
T. D.
Really enjoyable Adventure Golf course. Well thought out and laid out, with lots of variety.. Extremely well maintained too. Definitely recommend.
G. R.
You need to visit this place to experience the fun for kids, and old kids.
T. “. K.
Extremely covid safe with everything being sterilised all the time, including the holes! Really lovely adventure course suitable for all ages and a good selection of skills needed. My 8 year old loved that he found treasure in the Congo Falls waterfall! There's a Costa Coffee on site where you can sit and have a drink after skiing the course, and watch people on the driving range. Lots of parking too. Took about an hour to go round the adventure course and my son is desperate to go again already!
A. M.
Great fun, great setup and a really fun crazy golf course. Well thought out and not just the run of the mill holes. Would recommend to people of all ages.
F.
It was really fun. I especially enjoyed the waterfall course where you go underneath the waterfall. Highly recommend! Except I lost because I’m really bad at mini golf :(
P. K.
Best Crazy/Adventure golf course that I have been to. Good fun for adults and kids alike.
Would highly recommend.
G. H.
Loved it, will definitely be back for more!

Very friendly service at check in/Bar.
Can't wait to go back and have another go!

No complaints here, booking in is great as in theory you shouldn't have to wait around much. Nice clean course and very well maintained.
F. V.
Nice little course. Make sure you book.

J. N.
Great place to visit with Ur family fun for all ages and very good with covid19
N. S.
Very enjoyable crazy golf course, full 18 holes. The holes are interesting and challenging but still excellent fun for the whole family.
N. P.
Love it, as do the kids. Well designed, great fun
s. f.
Yes very good. Fun funny game of golf. Not too pricey either. Clean surrounding areas
S. W.
Fun! Fun! Fun! even for adults .
We were team building
A. H.
It's ok. We left thinking a bit overpriced for what it is and some of the holes are really basic. A lot of effort has gone into the surroundings which was nice to walk around and it was all really well maintained.
A. B.
Great fun. Reasonably priced. Nice to have a beer after and sit by the golf course; when restrictions allow
M. W.
Fab hour out. Family day out.
Really worth a visit.
Im not into golf etc but had great fun!
V. M.
Good Crazy Golf for kids and grandparents.

S. W.
very nice good fun for all age groups. I'm over 60 went with 3 other friends had coffee and muffin aftetnoon. delious .and fun 😉
A. S.
Great place, clean with all the right sanitizing facilities, easy to book with very friendly staff, only reason I couldn't give five stars was the price, my son and myself were round in half an hour, so at £15.50 it is a bit pricey, other than that a great half hour out.
A. C.
We took four 6 year olds for a birthday party and they had a great time, as did the adults!
P. G.
Great fun whatever your age
D. H.

A. B.
Amazing place. Such a good layout.
I do think the holes could be a little harder though
r. b.
Post lockdown session at driving range. I need the practice obviously. Good range, reasonably cheap, only downside was hitting into the sun.
G. K. W.
We had a fab time. Everything was clean and there were good covid rules in place. We had a fantastic time.

What a wicked little laugh. Defo going back there
