Fantastic golf course, in pristine condition. Lightening quick greens, it is very tight in places so accurate shots are required. The club house is very welcoming. Book a game, you won't be disappointed.

Lovely people, greens nice condition, course challenging in places, but not impressed with dog walkers and joggers who have right of way...? Off putting (no pun intended) and dangerous for them I would've thought...?

Used the function room. Unfortunately bar person did not collect used glasses once leaving us to clear them and spent the whole evening on his phone. Other than that a good evening.

Quite a picturesque course considering its location. Played it one evening for £20 so it was good value. Some narrow fairways so accuracy off the tee is important. Small greens as well, which really tests your approach play. The course was is fairly good condition but the tee boxes weren't at all even and the greens weren't in great nick, despite their website claiming theirs are 'some of the best in the south west'. Very slow, lots of bobbles and I saw a number of little holes and divots. Players don't seem to like repairing their pitch marks either. Overall an enjoyable evening round but I wouldn't rush back in a hurry.

Lovely course, nice layout, bunkers are a bit shabby with weeds, not that I was in lots. Good Pro shop and club.

Clearly a club which wants to be members only. Not exactly the warmest of welcomes, to be honest made to feel like a nuisance as my phones email couldn't open my teeofftimes notification email (the title was clear). Confused to why we were asked to start at the 10th. We had to squeeze into established golf traffic which was busy yet the 1st was quiet. Again being higher handicapped golfers this made us feel in the way. Considering the number of groups the pace of play was good. The course although not spectacular is in very good condition, you would struggle to find greens better than these. Surprised there wasn't many ball cleaners at the Tees and when we did find the odd one they were dry. Course could do with more signage as a couple of holes required quite trek to the next tee as it wasn't overly clear.

I have just joined after a set of introductory group lessons for ladies. Tom, the professional coach, is great & very encouraging. If you're looking for for a 'posh' golf club, this is probably not for you (one of our group had tried Clifton, and she said no-one really talked to her there). Members here are friendly and 'normal'!

Very enjoyable golf course. The club house was friendly atmosphere and pleasant staff. Not very busy on a Friday afternoon. All facilities was used and will return again later this month. Looked like they are doing some decoration to theain area

More pro shops should be this good. Warm and welcoming with staff that have a vast array of golfing knowledge, from club fitting to personal lessons (yes I did need one as I couldn't chip, can now though 😊) And everything In between Whatever you're after pay a visit you won't be disappointed.

Far exceeds what is needed at a private members club and always willing to go the extra mile.

Having decided to take up golf again after an 18 year hiatus, a friend recommended the team at Filton for both advice on equipment and for coaching so I paid them a visit at the start of this summer to talk about returning to the game. Initially on walking into the shop I was a little put off as it was not as 'shiny' as some of the mainstream shops but I was soon put at ease by the friendly and exceptionally knowledgeable staff, and quickly realised they really do know their stuff!! Following some lighthearted banter about my antique clubs Daryl, the club professional, recommended several sets of quality but affordable clubs and I was able to try them out on their video driving range before setting on the set which fit me best. Having played throughout the summer I've also had coaching with Daryl and Tom, both of whom are very patient and have an expert eye to correct my poor form. I've seen my swing improve radically and where as most of my shots used to be sliced right I'm now keeping more of my shots on the fairway and enjoying the game much more. Overall I can't recommend the team at Filton highly enough, thanks guys!!
