S. W.Brilliant driving range with top tracer facilities. Sometimes very busy so there may be a queue to get a bay. Golf course is acceptable for a small club, greens could be slightly better.
S. W.Just got fitted for a set of irons at Tickenham. I didn't do any research before going along. AJ introduced me to the track master software they use and proceeded to prepare a selection of 7 irons with ranging specs. I hit loads of balls and he helped me narrow down my selection based on the stats. I made my choice & AJ then went away performed a web price match on a set of 6 and I walked away a happy man. Such a friendly club with great service across the board.
W. H.First visit here to the driving range, not hit a golf ball in over 5 years, very enjoyable and will return. Tracking your ball on the monitor is a great way to improve your game.
I. S.Greens need work on them. The balls were bobbling about terribly. But fairways OK. Teeing off on mats, not a problem. Enjoyed the round. Nice play to play.
G. C.Extremely friendly place. Went to driving range with my dad and my two sons. We accidentally lost our card for the balls but Mick and Mark were very understanding and gave us coins to replace the lost card which meant we could get more balls and play a bit longer. Very good for kids, especially the new machines they’ve installed in the range which meant you could play games and collect points for every shot you make. I personally liked being able to see data like how far your shot went and speed. Highly recommend
J. D.I’ve been having lessons with Alan Johnston for just over a year, but was having specific problems with getting flight on my drives.
I’d seen videos of how great Trackman is at identifying problems, especially attack and face angles, but I wasn’t even aware Tickenham had one.
Today AJ spent an hour with me in “the end booth” where I was delighted to see they DO have a Trackman- what a result!!

W.Absolutely loved my first visit today 7 Nov 2021...took the wind out of me walking up to the 2nd green !!...Once I'd got my breath back I only went and birdied the 4..get in there...ended up only 5 over on the first time around and went 2 better on the back ..to shoot 70 on my first ever time on the course,I think I'll be back ..

New owner/s have achieved a really friendly relaxed atmosphere with some good membership deals. Toptracer. Buggies. Free use of practice green is also a huge bonus. Well done TGC !!
T. W.We have spent at least an evening a week for the past 12 weeks coming to the driving range. The addition of the new Toptracer units mean the range experience has been transformed. Different game modes and competitions mean you can now play virtual rounds of golf at courses all over the world. The longest drive mode is always good fun to end on.
I believe a bucket of balls costs £6 each or £30 for 6 buckets.
The golf shop is really well stocked and they offer price match on all their products. Beers and soft drinks can be purchased from the shop for consumption on the range however they are £4 for a small bottle so pretty pricey.
I have played the 18 hole course dozens of times and whilst it is fantastic value at £12 for the round (after 3pm, £18 peak times) the course is a little tight. Bear in mind it is the same 9 holes twice so the 9th is also the 18th etc. The zigzag layout and lack of hedgerows means shots from other players can end up on your fairway, as they are playing back towards you, you have little choice but to wait for them to play, no problem with that but it does slow the game down. Beware the 8th/17th as this runs parallel with the end of the driving range and shots frequently make their way onto the fairway. Around 30 balls were on the fairway at around 4pm...if you play a successful T shot then no reason to hang around here. All in all a fantastic facility with helpful, knowledgeable staff.

S. M.Friendly and reasonably priced. Basic course with 3 par 4s and the rest are par 3s. Would get 5 stars but is let down by rare appearance of senior member of staff who once sent my father home for wearing golf shorts that weren't tailored?! Note dress code has relaxed since then!

An excellent Club Fitting Service, incorporating modern technology, is also available with its own specially designed bay. A wide selection of golfing gear is available at the shop. I recommend Twickenham for the up and coming golfer.
