All staff are amazing helpful amd friendly they all cant do enough to make you feel welcome. Great value for moneys and Kids love the Par 3 links course wherever it to play golf or foot golf. . Highly recommended

The best description for Ash Valley golf club. Challenging, long and hilly. Overall the golf club is good value, long holes and the condition is in ok condition. Fairways are wide, rough is very long and tough to get out. The greens need work and are not as pure as other courses in the area. Club house lacks changing facilities, but a pint is cheap and staff are super friendly. For £20 well worth a visit.

I played 9 holes today and the course was in fantastic condition, greens were at their very best! Well worth a game over the winter!

Very friendly staff, made to feel welcome. Had pre-booked a set of clubs for hire, decent quality - ready for us when we arrived. Very good value - we played 9 holes. Generous fairways, with challenging slopes on many holes. Greens were fair (a little slow) though the bunkers were not maintained. Enjoyable and would certainly go back again. Splendid views. Very encouraged to see so many youngsters being coached, on the driving range and the par-3 course.

Love this club. Well kept greens and great for beginners and pros... went with my family just before the covid shut down and had a great time. I was new and other family members were seasoned golfers, everyone enjoyed it. I will be going back once they open!

I've only given this 3stars currently as they are constantly improveing. The club house is small as friendly , the staff are happy to see you. The course is an hard little track due to the fairways. The greens are getting better and given time this will only improve. Have a new pro that knows his stuff and only too happy to talk to adults and a growing junior section. Will review again in the spring.

A friend and I played 72 holes of golf in a single day to raise money for Macmillan Cancer support. Ash Valley were the most gracious of hosts. Everyone at the club was so helpful and supportive throughout the day, and nothing was too much trouble for them! A fantastic club, and a lovely course too! Just be ware of the hills!

If you want a testing round on a course thats great value for money, this is your place. Forget the yardage on the card, this course plays longer. Great staff and members are an added bonus, played them today and they are such a great bunch. Some courses I've played have had some really clicky members. If you want some grub, order the gourmet burger, it was outstanding and add some chips as they were spot on. Hospitality was outstanding, thanks AVGC.

Was a nice round with a cheap price for weekend rates. Was very wet but so is evrywhere this time of year for the amount of recent rain. 1st tee gave me the impression of a bland and open course but i was very wrong. Very hilly area. Nice small club to play amd will definitly be playing again when weather improves amd dries up.

Seems like a family run course very friendly. The fairways & greens have been looked after & are in good condition but you happen to stray wide it's very ruff but that having said would definitely visit again Mike

Had a most enjoyable round, weather a tad damp but course firm. Do go to play, value for a golf course. The club house offers food and drinks and our snack enjoyable and at a not expensive price. Will play and eat again at Ash Valley.

Very hilly course with testing fairways. The greens are not great as some need a bit more work on to get to the standard required. It's ok for a beginner as there is not too many bunkers, but is sometimes difficult to find a nice flat lie to play off due to most holes being on a hill.

Course is okay, reasonable well kept. Very long and full of hills too, so get your walking boots on! Some very challenging, long par 5 holes as well as a few lovely par 3. Good overall, just let down by an overpriced and under stocked bar. Will be returning though

I did not expect much and was very wrong. It's an interesting course and has splendid views as well as being very well designed. The staff were great. I could not help but think that this place has bags of potential. Maybe spend some money on revamping the greens. Value for money was superb.

As high handicappers my husband and I really enjoyed this challenging long course. We had a beautiful sunny day with lovely views in June 2016. Very reasonably priced with friendly staff in the clubhouse. We will be back!

Long course fairways a bit long we decided to put all bunkers as gur as they were very poor but for £10 a round for seniors in a four ball we had a very enjoyable if exhausting round this is a very hilly corse and with some serious investment could be spectacular
