Friendly and welcoming club with a great course to back it up. The course has a nice balance of difficult and not so difficult holes, and is well maintained. My first time playing was in December and I could not believe how green everything was.

Nice parkland course, well presented & in good condition. Greens ran true, although maybe a little on the slow side. Bunkers were not in good condition, hard compacted sand often full of stones. One hole with a huge tree in the middle of the fairway. Not a great feature! Friendly staff.

Interesting course in excellent condition for the time of year. A12 a bit noisy on a couple of holes, but otherwise a good challenge with plenty to think about.

Always like playing this course but have to say the course was in need of a cut as everywhere was in need of a trim and the greens weren't in that good a condition. Was disappointed to be honest definitely did not warrant paying the £40 green fee.

Another great day at Colchester Golf club course was in good condition considering the dry mouth we have had a bit dryer in places but greens were in good condition . All our members and their guests enjoyed the day bar staff and catering staff served us very well thanks very much.

Nice course and clubhouse. Good facilities. The course is fairly flat and free from water hazards, but mature. Road noise from the A12 spoils the peace and quiet on a few holes.
