Good course, always like coming here. Very picturesque and plenty of interesting holes with river running through it. Very fast greens at the moment and a good challenge. Usually have some gluten free food in the bar, good place to eat and drink

We have played this course today and could not have enjoyed the day anymore. The course and greens were in very good condition despite the summer weather and the greens maintenance. What made today even better was the pro/shop who could not do enough to make our day perfect, 1st time we have played here but will definitely return

Great golf course plenty of par 5 around the course The course is so beautiful lots of surprises like little bridges The 14th hole it's so nice it drop down to a valley par 3 There's a free buggy to bring you back up which was really special thank you.. Really can't recommend this course enough a must play. . Definitely will be returning ...

The course has clearly suffered from drought conditions this year. Greens were OK but fairways and tees not so good. It's an interesting course with no two holes the same. Only three bunkers to avoid but plenty of natural hazards to test golfers of all abilities. Good food!

What a lovely but challenging course. Enjoyed my day even though my golf was very up and down. The only fault was the amount of pitchmarks not repaired, on the otherwise immaculate greens but you can't blame the course or greenkeepers for that. Look forward to returning soon!

Great course, looks easy but its not! Some very challenging greens. Even some of the par 3s are very hard. Very well kept course, fareways and greens are very well maintained. Even the roughs are fair. We had a Society long weekend away with this as one of the courses visited, definitely recommend.

Lovely course which was in excellent condition considering the wet weather there had been in preceding weeks, some holes were closed but alternative s provided by playing holes twice. Excellent clubhouse too with friendly staff and some great deals such as 18 Holes and a meal afterwards for £30 on weekdays. Snap it up whilst it is available.

First time visiting on Saturday, played 9 holes as we didn't manage to get there until 2:30 lovely which qualified us for twilight discounted prices (£12 (I think) instead of £15). Great course, great facilities, relatively wide fairways. Variety of obstacles to overcome on the way round including a river. A couple of holes had quite a slope to contend with but very enjoyable still. Finished the round, headed into the club for a beer, reasonable prices and sport on the TV to watch. Plenty of car parking. Will definitely visit again.

For the last 4/5 years I have visited this establishment at Christmas time for the purpose of an annual meal with a pensioners group. We have always received a warm welcome and the food has been of excellent quality hence the reason for revisiting each year. A family run establishment who give a quality service. I would definitely recommend it.

Great course, a bit short but makes up for it the need for accuracy onto the greens and some really tricky holes. Lessons second to none, on my third now and it's improved my golf by 10-15 a round already. Very happy and great value too for visitors like me.

We walk our dog in the area next to the golf club & it's beautiful. A large field which leads down to the river where dogs & sometimes children in the Summer can paddle & swim. A wonderful place for a relaxing walk. The other side of the road boasts another terrific walk as well.

I have been playing the 18 hole course a lot lately and have been really enjoying the challenge of the parkland course, mature trees and sloping greens. However my last outing was somewhat spoilt by large numbers of 'members' being allowed to tee off on the tenth hole late in the day just playing the back nine. Whilst most of them were cooperative in allowing those playing the full 18 holes to play through, some were reluctant and in inevitably played play down and spoilt my round.

Great, well tended courses (18 hole and 9 hole par 3). Must be one of the best in the area. Lovely terrace at the "19th" overlooking course. Looked after by friendly, efficient staff.

The guy in the Pro Shop is a great bloke. Very helpful and informative with regards to the course. The girls serving breakfast were lovely and the food was great. The course was in ok condition, but it was borderline whether it was playable or not due to lots of overnight rain. Apart from the wet conditions, its usually a brilliant course. Would definitely recommend and I will certainly play the course again.

The ambience of this place is superb, cosy but also modern and you are so well looked after- after even just one visit they know you and welcome you: the food is great in fact we're booked in Boxing Day! really really worth a visit but if you thinking of Sunday lunch make sure you book or you won't get in which speaks for itself. Still a great course greens were ok but I must mention the shocking bad attitude of the female in the pro shop . As the first person to great golfers it should be a welcoming of politeness not of bad attitude and total unprofessional behaviour. Imagine that was the first visit to the club it wasn't but this person is the first face a golfer sees just bad business practice . Wouldn't take many of these bad occasions to start affecting the club😡😡

Golf course in a good setting. Wide open generous fairways to suit every golfer. Always a good deal to be had here, either breakfast and a round of golf or golf and lunch. Not to busy and play is generally around 4 hours.
