Been and had my first lesson with Daniel yesterday. Great instructor, and in the hour gave me a lot of advice and drills to go away with. Looking forward to going back for my next lesson.

Here's the thing. A driving range is for practicing golf. It should be flat, with well identified targets, decent mats and cleaned representative balls. The last point is the problem here. They are old gutties that are completely useless and don't represent a shot. For around £6k they need to get 20,000 two piece ones and then they'll be on song. So why 4 stars? Well the shop staff are great. I had a club lie angle altered and I know of plenty mid to high handicappers who have improved immensely by completing courses with their pro. A fundamental issue that needs to be addressed.

500 balls for £25, never thought we'd get through them all but we did! £2 per club to rent unless you have your own. Never got the hang of it but good fun and a laugh with the kids, something different to do. My lad really enjoyed it. Sheltered but can imagine it being cold in winter. Friendly staff. No booking was required.

This is great value if you want to hit some balls for a bit of fun. 100 balls just £6 (June 2021). If you're a bit more serious then this is like Rocky IV training. Forget computerised swing analysis... it's just you vs. the range. There's a couple of close net targets, a sprinkling of oil barrels, half a dozen flags, and the banking at the back tops out at 200 yards. Pick one of about 15 bays in the wooden built range, each with an AstroTurf mat, tee up on a rubber peg (no automatic tee's here) and get back to basics hitting your line and distance. The owner works there and he remembered my name after nearly two years; his staff are great too. I love this place. Would recommend.

After a 20 year hiatus from golf. Went here today to hone my previous skills. Non evident :). However the guys that run this driving range are very happy to help out. 200 balls in 3 hrs with my mate. A great day. Will be back soon.

Excellent place for a nice casual session. Prices are quite reasonable with it staying under £6 even for the 100 ball bucket. The clubs are free as well which is a great convenience. Parking is free too, so you can come in a big group without spending much on parking. There's loads of ranges as well so there's a good chance you'll find a range to play on as well

it doesnt have anything to do with golf ,but the staff or owner (not sure didnt get to find out )couldnt have been more helpful ,i couldnt fine my way to hoilday inn after my phone went dead ,not only did they google it, but went beyond that and actually let me follow him in his car all the way to the place ,a Absolute star ,not sure how long i would have been driving around for else .

Great driving range. Great range to practice short game of the mats. John the owner is very friendly. Nice to hit proper golf balls and not normal range branded balls that only go 3/4 the distance. I use this range on a regular basis. 5 stars

Does everything a golf driving range should do. Free and plentiful parking. Lessons available for beginners on Saturdays. £6.50 for 100balls. 60 and 30 ball baskets available.

The building, clubs and balls have all seen better days but it's a great way to spend an hour. The wife and I took an hour to use up 100 balls which cost £5.50 which is pretty good value. There's plenty of parking spaces and I think they do lessons too

My son decided he wanted to try golf (about which I have zero idea). The staff have been nothing but welcoming and helpful, accommodating a wheelchair using Granny and a keen 7 year old. Parking is plentiful and easy to access. There is plenty of seating for gawkers (me), but I imagine it'll be pretty cold in Winter!

I love this driving range, it's big with high quality mats. They use proper golf balls not reduced weight one's. I'm having lessons at the minute and my game is coming on leaps and bounds. It's cheap as well, I think it's about 4.50 for 100 balls. The owner is called John and is mega helpful and will give you advice if you ask. Highly recommend.

Definitely a good way to spend a free hour or two. You get all the equipment you need included and it's loads of fun. If you've never done this before it might be useful to Google how to hold a gold club properly :)

Sinfin golf course is in good condition. Good food friendly staff both in shop and clubhouse. I'm also allowed to use my own buggy. So thank you all at sinfin golf course..
