Good club, it was the hottest day of the year when we played 40degrees and the greens were still in great condition..

Unfortunately it poured with rain when we visited but even so the course was beautiful with some challenging holes. Lovely staff in the clubhouse and the food post round was excellent. Looking forward to a second visit in the dry

It has been several years since I last played at Wheatley Golf Club, great to go back. Course was in great condition for early March, greens were running, fairways and through the green dry. Welcoming in the Pro shop and after in the bar. We will be back soon.

Wow! What a cracking course. I played it at 4pm on a beautiful summers day whilst staying in Doncaster for a few days.. The course was in EXCELLENT condition. A relatively easy walk but a very tricky course.

A very challenging course that requires you to be very straight off the tee. The par 4 10th hole at 475 yards is very challenging and the par 3s require you to be long and straight! The course was in very good condition and it is clear that there is a very good staff on green keepers working their magic. Really enjoyed the challenge. Well worth playing!!!!

Had the pleasure of playing Wheatley on several occasions and on our latest visit the course did not disappoint, it was in great condition for this Early in the year, the greens have a good pace and the fairways are lush thanks to the irrigation.

Best course I've played this year the greens and the aprons were superb the fairways perfect and the many bunkers perfectly placed and difficult, well done keep doing what you are doing a great test of golf for all.

We played golf with a member and the course was excellent. Very well maintained. We had coffees and bacon sandwiches before we went out, and they were also great and reasonable value fir money.

Course was good to play and I ok condition for winter. Tee time booked but apparently they didn't do bookings in winter!? So some 30 odd folk waiting to tee off and our 11am tee off became nearly 12 noon.

I What a great golf course, poor round of golf but a really lovely course. Unfortunately due to Covid hospitality was limited, but from the Pro shop through to the bar service everyone was giving 100% with a huge welcoming smiles. Thanks for adding to a really day out.

Had a delicious 3 corse meal for £20 but sadly the central heating had broken down. They reset the tables in the bar & brought an electric fan heater but I was still cold. It spoilt the experience for me but the food was excellent.

What course really fair and challenging golf course would recommend if you are in the area of Doncaster

Although I'm not a member of the club I was a guest for a meal on mothering Sunday. This was a great venue, the staff ran the place like a well oiled machine, they had two main sittings and managed to feed every one and to a very high standard. The food was a carvery type meal and was of a better quality than the standard pub that sells this style meal.

Not overly welcoming, asked us to move our van before we'd unloaded, no "have you come far" no "would you like a tea or coffee lads? and when the barman asked the manageress if the 1st drink was free? She just bluntly said no! Brilliant!!
