Sean Glackin should read the definition of a mountain, his comments remind me of the oft quoted " making a mountain out of a molehill. Golfers, please don't let these comments deter a visit to Dungannon, a fair challenge of golf,fantastic hospitality and a welcoming bar/restaurant and members. Last note to Sean G I can only assume you didn't play to your capabilities.

Always have great meals at the Claret Jug. Our meal on Wednesday. night was full of Prince’s unique flavours. Lovely evening views over the golf course. Prices much more reasonable than a high profile cafe on the Lisburn Road we visited on Friday - eg sides £5 - Claret Jug 3.50!

Haven’t played on the course yet, just took a few lessons with Stefan Ackermann. Lovely course and clubhouse, Stefan is a first class coach and very reasonably priced. I found immediate improvement after one lesson

Food OK. Welcome not so good. Twice now have been greeted by, 'you alright' rather than the much nicer 'good evening'. This particular waitress has to tone down her voice. The whole restaurant could hear everyone's order and how much they were paying.

Had takeaway food from The Claret Jug this evening, absolutely delicious! I had the crispy duck stirfry, which was amazing, my husband had chicken stack, equally great!! Would highly recommend, brilliant service and reasonably priced. Keep it up!! 👍😋

Food very skimpy portions,three little fingers of roast beef,not enough veg to go around.

Wasn't impressed at all. The meal was very bland(white chicken on champ, with onions and 2 baby tomatoes on plate for colour, even looked bland) We were seated opposite the door with people coming in and out and going to and from the toilet..we were freezing! Asked for Gluten free soup and they sent a non Gluten free roll along side the soup. Obviously no knowledge of allergies. Have to say the staff were very pleasant and friendly thou, which is why I gave it 3 stars

Really enjoyable parkland. Fairways and greens were lush. Some really challenging holes. Good length. Very tasty lunch. Overall, 5 stars considering low price. A gem!

This is a lovely relaxing place to eat. The view of the golf course is very pleasing to the eye. The food is first class and if you have children it is very spacious and comfortable.

Went to Dungannon golf club today with Black mountain golf society although I can't play due to a knee replacement I sat in the clubhouse for the afternoon and I must say I was treated very well by both the staff and also the members we were made very welcome and when our society came in after the golf we had a lovely meal and a few drinks I would have no hesitation in recommending Dungannon golf club to anyone thank you

Just been to The Save the Children Breakfast in the Golf Club. The food was fresh,tasty and service was excellent. Thank you Catering staff and Save the Children committee for organising the event.

Heard the Get into Golf tuition with David the pro is really good. David is a really nice guy. Might decide to give it a go in the spring. Dungannon could not be a friendlier place - and it was rocking on Saturday night thanks to Sylvia and Ivan’s hard work which paid off in bucketloads.

Nice country course to play. Well known hole is the 'darren clark' 9th.Friendly staff, visitors are always welcome. Clubhouse offers meals in the Restaurant and drinks at the bat.just make Sure you have a Tee time Reserve as it can be busy. Well worth a visit.
