CJ and I came up from East Kent where we play Royal St. George's and Walmer & Kingsdown golf clubs and found your course to be a great course to play. The course was in great condition and the staff and players could not have been friendlier. We will definitely return.

If you take away the ravine then this is not anything special. The clubhouse facilities are in need of a face-lift and the car park and courtyard are potential ankle breakers.

I played here in a mixed open yesterday. The course was in good condition with excellent greens. The tree lined fairways and some very tough but interesting par 3's make this a good test of your golf. The scenery and views of the castle are excellent. Definitely worth a visit and I will be back.

Lovely golf course, been going since Moses was a boy, old membership crowd💰 However, ironically for all that food is so so and they don't have the heating on🥶 Castle and club house historical buildings and recommend it for a round of golf for the views for sure👍

First time playing the course yesterday and the course was in fantastic condition. The rough doesn't look much but it's really punishing and the greens rolled fast a true. The course is beautifully laid out with several holes playing across the ravine that cuts through the course. On top of the course being in great condition the members were the friendliest I've ever encountered on any course.

Used to be a member here and course not as good as it used to be. Landscaping and general former pristine look neglected. Greens are patchy in places but ok. I suppose its good value for the £28 I paid but i was sad that it is not as good as it used to be.

Considering the weather we've had recently, all 18 normal greens are in use and in tip-top condition. Course remains open unless it is literally covered in snow, testament to the year round condition in which it is kept. Best course in the county!

Played this course twice now, fantastic layout, very well maintained. There are a couple of par 3 signature holes which are great to play. Would highly recommend.

Great golf course, very picturesque not far off the A1. Friendly staff and great food.

Fairway conditions were decent and greens well manicured but slightly slow on the day I played. Subtle and multiple breaks make reading lines for each putt quite challenging. Ravines come into play on some holes, a real test especially on a windy day so make sure you have ample balls.
