Played sept 2022 Belter of a course, greens were immaculate fairways running well and rough thick and juicy, to be this well manicured up in the moors is some achievement. Don’t be fooled that’s it’s only 6200 off the whites as due to plateaued greens and elevation changes it can really bite. You can see why this course was designed by the same guy that done Augusta as there are some tricky greens where you really need to think and not take the obvious line. Will definitely be back again.

Lovely, well manicured course. Lots of interesting holes with a lot of elevation changes as well as being quite open should u be a little wayward off the tee. The Pro was also incredibly helpful and accommodating with the booking of our tee time. First time I had played it and I will certainly be back!

Played a few years ago & felt it was dark & claustrophobic due to the trees on parts of the course, it looks like a different course since they have removed a lot of the trees, much brighter & open. Course was very tidy & the greens were slick, rolled true & a real test. Hope to play again.

Visited on a damp, v windy day 13/09/18. Quite exposed up on the hill so expect to be buffeted about. Challenging course, esp front 9. Greens were in fabulous condition. Warned they were quick but they were green and not too fast. Course in great condition. So very well maintained. Also, changing facilities, car parking, bar and staff fantastic. Give it a go.

Bonnyton is up there with one of the best golf courses I have played. Greens were in perfect condition and a credit to the green keepers. Short-ish course, however a real challenge with quite a few elevated greens. Beautifully contoured course giving some awkward stances and needing a bit of thought for ball position. All in all a pleasure to play and I thoroughly recommend a visit. I couldn't fault the bar staff as they were very pleasant and the food was also top notch. 10 out of 10 for me.

Course was soaking wet so maybe it would be better in summer conditions. Bar doesn't accept card payment so watch as we almost were forced to go into town to get cash as bar and club are separate owners
