One of the best golf courses I have had the pleasure to play. The course is exceptionally well kept, I played it in September and it was magnificent, the fairways well tendered and fair. The greens are true and firm. The whole course is a lengthy but comfortable walk. No great gradients, but a test no the less. The clubhouse is exceptional too. Well designed, welcoming, and the food and bar area are superb. Very well worth a visit, I was made very welcome by people who had no idea I was a guest of a life member.

Beautiful clubhouse, course was immaculate. An absolute must visit for any golfer. Or even just spectators, with its wrap around balcony for a lunch with maybe a nice cocktail or coffee.

Bothwell Castle is a fairly small castle ruin originally built in the 1200's. While much of the castle is inaccessible, the few parts that are are fun for kids to see and you get a sense of life 800 years ago. Expect to spend about an hour walking through the castle.

New years 2020. Absolutely fantastic, a superb evening of great food, entertainment and company. The staff were a credit to the club, working so hard all evening to make the members and guest have a night to remember. 5* well done again Brendan and all the staff. Have a fantastic 2020

Lounge area upgraded and pleasantly served by members and guests. Outlook onto Course is outstanding. Does not cater for those there to enjoy a lounging time as no magazines or newspapers available. Course has had lot of work done over the years so always trying be better.

Brilliant course in superb condition. Meal first class and staff were first class. Thanks to the pro as well as the bus couldn't get in but he ran clubs up to the pick up point in a buggy for us. Thoroughly enjoyable day.

We were at the Golf Club for a party, the rooms were spacious and had huge windows as well as cosy and comfortable sitting area. Unlike many other places, the bar served teas and coffees all night, which is great.
