Reviews of Callander Golf Club
J. S.
Callander golf club in transition at the moment, building new clubhouse, there are temporary pro shop and dining area maintaining usual exceptional standard of service.
The course was in excellent condition, Tees, fairways and greens were lush despite the recent dry and hot conditions. A proper gem of a course do not hesitate to visit and play you will not regret it🏌♂️⛳️

What a magical little golf course this is. It is like a small Gleneagles. The views are outstanding and the course is manicured by proper green keepers. I played here years ago but now it is right up there as a must visit.

Good test of golf. Nice scenery. Tricky par 3s. Needs a clubhouse.
Green staff do a great job.

Fabulous little course with some challenging par 3's. Would definitely recommend this course as it is well maintained and has some fantastic views

If it's a warm welcome your looking for this isn't the place ... If it's a fantastic round of Golf then this is definitely worth a visit....

Course has a lot of par 3s which might put people off.most of them are not easy.this is a very nice course still being played in these tough times.well worth a visit
P. N.
This is a good golf course. We only managed to play 9 holes as the rain came pouring down

I was fortunate enough to play Callander Golf Club for the first time in the summer of 1993, and really enjoyed the experience, and I have been back many times since. The scenery is breathtaking, the course was immaculate and the cost very reasonable.
The course has many undulations and poses some tricky challenges, even considering it is a relatively short course. One of the things I will always remember is the beautiful divots taken off the lush fairways.
Callander is a fabulous town situated in one of the most visited areas of Scotland, known as The Trossachs, and the local folk are extremely friendly and welcoming. Definitely a place to visit when in Central Scotland!

Course was in great condition today for the Seniors open, greens were very fast. Shame the clubhouse was closed, enjoyed the hospitality in it the last time I played here.

We had a brilliant time at Callander Golf course. The fairways were first class as were the greens, top marks to the green staff what a difference from a year ago. Keep up the fantastic work.

Great wee fun course.

First time I've played the course in a few years. Its not changed, still mossy and damp underfoot throughout. Nice layout but needs some TLC aka improved drainage. Will go back but only when there is a deal on via groupon / it is on etc.

Played an open competition. First time playing it and it's different from the usual courses , very short par 4s and a lot of par 3s. Every hole is different and overall very enjoyable.

Very reasonable midweek. Short but clever holes where risk and reward are key factors.

First time playing the course and the variety of the holes are great, we had the pleasure of playing of the white tees, Clubhouse renewal is a issue but still a great day. 👍

Great wee course, especially if you're a short hitter like me. Lots of really challenging short holes, only problem was the greens were very slow, lots of rain recently in this part of the world. I would definitely go back.

Looking at the reviews the main comments seem to be a nice WEE course, but it's not easy, you need to be accurate and pick the right club. Hole 15 is something to see keep it straight. Had a great 36 holes on the 21st June, greens do need work but seemingly there is a new Head Greenkeeper and assistant so hopefully they will turn it round. Will definately be back. Put the urn on.

Most beautiful golf course I ever played.
Unlucky position At the bottom of the Crags (taking in all the water)
Always a joy to play. Will be back....miss it as I played it a lot when young

Came on an outing with the church. Good course, lovely setting, but the greens need some work done. The clubhouse was nice too, and the food tasted great.

What a lovely hidden gem - really friendly welcome, course in great nick, some delightful and testing holes, greens fast and true. I will be back

Lovely course, great views. Played twice. Lady at clubhouse (cabin) is so nice too.
J. U.
Great course, lots of interesting holes and challenges. Greens are true and the views are spectacular.

My home course, so of course I'm biased, but I love this place. There are few holes here where you can just blast away without some careful planning, lots of occasions when you'll need to use some imagination to get out of trouble.
