Interesting course, fairly well maintained. Approach to first tee is a steep climb & an indication of what's to come. Fabulous views, could do with a few seats strategically placed to get your breath back. Lost 4 balls, found 2!

Stunning views all around with basic 9 hole layout all short par 4. Lack of features or bunkers. Fairly flat once up there and in fair condition. Closed in 2019 but reborn by locals I believe, in 2020. £7.50 online or in honesty box. We will visit again.

We played at Dollar at the end of July and it is simply a must play if you are visiting St Andrews etc. The course is fantastic, many changes of direction and all types of sloping lies. The greens were in great condition and the tees and fairways were a joy to play off. If you turn up and think you are going to murder the course because it is only short, then you will be eaten alive! you must treat it with great respect, plot your way around and then you will be rewarded. The only problem is that the view from the 1st tee is the most breath taking I have ever seen and its impossible not to go wow!, now try to play a pin point iron shot after that. Many courses are described as beautiful but this course is far beyond that, every direction you look as you play your round, fantastic, if you read this and do not play Dollar you will have missed out on a great golf experience. Please make the effort as we did to play,the secretary was so helpful so do not hesitate to contact him,you will not regret it. Michael Williams ,P.G.A. Golf Professional.

The course reopened in 2020 as a nine-hole course. Greens and fairways are well tended, and visitors can turn up and play when they want!

Very sad to hear this club is closing down,back in the 90's my ex wife had family in Stirling and I had the benefit of playing the clubs in the area,Dollar was by far my favourite club,the layoùt & the staff and members were very welcoming,very sad these old established courses are closing down all over Scotland nowdays 😞.

I'm not a gofer but the Cub is busy and popular with locals and visitors alike. The lounge bar is popular and there's a flat above for let all year round.
