Great venue to dj in and staff were fantastic from my arrival to my departure at the end off the night so massive thank you to the lady's on the bar and the gentleman that helped me out on my arrival folks

It's a really good challenging course although not being maintained properly. For the price they charge it should be maintained a lot better. Some greens are poor and bunkers look like they haven't been touched in months. Shame really.

Probably the best municipal golf club around. A good challenge but the course has suffered from lack of investment over the years. Tees are decent as are the greens. Greens are a bit on the slow side. Bunkers are the worst part of the setup as they are poorly maintained. 18th par three is a beautiful finishing hole with Torrance House behind the green. Clubhouse is welcoming and reasonably priced.

Put a post on before about being a nice course with some difficult holes, they are all difficult for me!! Price was a bit expensive for a public course. Phoned the other day for a tee time. Before midday, during the week, £20.55. From noon onwards,£10.55!!! I was looking for a tee off time of half ten,eleven. So I waited an hour. A tenner is a tenner! Asked about the pay difference, no explanation. Definitely worth a visit after midday!

Please note, this Review is for Fairmont -Torrance Golf Course , St Andrews. The Greens left me disappointed , despite only played at weekends , the were very sandy and quite bare. The staff in the pro shop were very nice and welcoming. The course was hard in sections, but not impossible, even for a high handicapper, another course ticked off the Golf course bucket list.

Beautiful course and a dated but friendly clubhouse. Worth a round on course and in bar. Very friendly staff and food in clubhouse at the weekends is very good. Nice big hall which can be hired out for functions

Great golf course. One of the best municipal courses I have had the frustration to play. Always want to come back to play better. All staff including bar staff are very welcome and friendly.

Don't be put of by the council running this course. It is a lovely course and has been in great condition every time I've played it. One of my favourite courses.
