It's a very lovely place to live, as we live up the street from here.
It is great place for the family to visit for the day, there is something for the whole family to do, there's a great golf course for the adults and for the children of all ages there is a play park and for children a little older you have the zipline experience of 'go ape '. For the dogs u have all of the place to explore, it's a fun

This is a lovely place for walks round and to take dogs for a walk. There is going to be a new bike track in near future which is great news for local kids

What's left of the original 2 courses is fairly good. Bit of work been done over winter so let's see what it's like in summer months

A surprisingly nice golf course. The greens are in good Condition but the outfield is a little bumpy but rolling well. The rough and leaves, although not high or overt can steal your ball. I will definitely visit again and recommend.

A bit cheap looking (poles have no flags) but good fun. A bit longer than the usual, so bare that in mind. Rivers prove to be a bit challenting too :)

Friendly club, council course that they've made out of the two that use to be there. Great place to start your golf journey.

This is now an 18 hole course and the layout has changed a little. Leeds City Council have reduced the holes and focused on the course conditions. The greens are 100% better than what they were about a month ago which is a credit to the green keepers. The greens are reasonably fast and generally in good condition. There is still work to do but the course is well worth the green fee.

First time I've played it in 15 yrs. New course layout is good considering they've joined two of the old courses together. Greens and fairways were in good condition considering the time of year. Be back again soon.

What a fantastic course. The guy who took my money was very cheerful and a great help explaining the course. Confusing. Just needs arrows pointing to the next tee. Sort it out.

Great for walking or cycling etc. Set in huge well kept grounds with a farm & kids play area, tea room, icecream van in summer & now a go-ape too.
Free parking & a golf course.

Great course. The grounds keepers do a great job with the challenges that a public course brings. Challenging track for all levels of golfer. Just hard to get a tee time due to its popularity

What a stunning place! First time I went for a picnic and traveled from Bradford! So clean and the views were amazing. Think I will be definitely returning! My son loved the park as well no graffiti or swear words or pictures of little Willie's which made a change... the swings actually had seats and there were actually a roundabout where the roundabout should be!

Underrated place for a council course. Looks to be being improved with now one course, still work to be done but hopefully the increased green fees (£15) help continue to make the course better.

I was there for my daughter football match. I truly enjoyed the nature of the area. Beautiful autumn colour. The running pathway around the football pitch was wide and people look enjoying their practice time. Recommend it to everyone.

Great afternoon celebrating my golfing father-in-laws 80th birthday. Full clubhouse. A fantastic social amenity for a set of people that will soon be displaced by Leeds City Councils plan to close courses a replace with family bike trails
Sad day of that happens!

Course in good condition enjoyed the day. Route could be better shown had two behind me asking where do we go next.

I don't even play golf so can't comment on the club itself but the course is amazing set in a woodland surrounding. My favourite place to go walking.
A. K.
A good golf course with some great views of Leeds.
J. A.
Good, varied course, public access so litter and dog poo usually around.

Considering that this is all so some people can hit a small white ball into a small whole many yards away it certainly has become something of a nature reserve for many animals and plants. So keep up the good work giving Leeds much needed greenery at the small price of some people hitting a small white ball around

This course is a long hilly walk (lord Irwin) although the course itself in pretty decent condition there is a good few tee boxes in need of some love as do the greens. This isn't due to a lack of care it's the local scroats doing damage.
No facilities at all at the moment due to covid restrictions.

This an an amazing golf course that is just lacking investment. Such a shame 9 holes of the lady Dorothy course have been removed as well.
A bit of love and attention or in a different area this could be a championship course
M. W.
Great course in very good condition 👍

Great Day. Just played an invitational there today. New 18 course layout is marvellous, a tough knock for any player, low or high handicap. Thanks

I'm here as the entertainment doing my Frankie Valli tribute..
All I can say is that the staff are brilliant, the atmosphere is fantastic.. Really enjoyable from a work perspective
C. M.
Not a bad course for pay and play, obviously has had its problems with vandals in the past with some greens having old tyre tracks visible
P. M.
Large municipal golf course which also forms as part of the wider temple newsam park, but is unused at the moment due to the covid 19 virus and really needs to be tidied up when things get back to normal
O. B.
Great courses. Lord Irwin cam be busy at times with some slow play here and then. Lady Dorothy on the other hand (9 holes), is faster play.

Testing golf course with some spectacular views of Leeds. Tiny flags and not the best kept course, but deserves 5 stars for being cheap and challenging.

P. M.
Large municipal course set in with the large Temple Newsam park, goes to the edge of the M1/A63 plenty of pathways and off route woods for walking and cycling, a gem really.

Good entertainment. Nice proprietor. Good service.

Good old council funded course. That's supposedly going to be sold off to some greedy profiteering company.
P. S.
Beautiful place! I've never seen so many rododren flowers in one place!
W. F.
Two courses to choose from. One is easier but still poses a challenge. Course laid out in large grounds.

Great Dr Alistair McKenzie layout, not kept to the best standard due to budget pressures on the local council.
