Did the Footgolf with my boy. Well kept course. Friendly , helpful staff to get us set up whilst there and before on the phone. Course was quiet (midweek). Fairly priced. Can recommend.

Great course and based on past experience, a great club house too. A little soft underfoot as would be this time of year and the amount of leaves on the course plays havoc but not the club or courses fault. The signage could be improved and the play through a society on the course was slow when we got to the 15th. A little frustrating but with shorter days, par for the course. Pun defo intended!

Best condition I have seen this course for a long time.A lot of work has gone into the greens and fairways.Both in excellent condition.Always a very friendly club.Since my last visit 2 years ago a lot of changes for the better.Not a municipal course anymore and it shows with the changes. Played with society, course in excellent condition and greens relatively fast. Service in the clubhouse was good and staff very helpful. Dont let the fact that this is a municipal course put you off, the standards here and the course itself are better than many members courses I've played. Highly recommended.

Not a bad course , alough the winter Matt's are rough in places , also some fairways balding.. that said the course is a good size and a good challenge with a variety of holes ! I do feel £19 for 18 holes is slightly high and would stay it's probably worthy of £14/£15

Played the course today in a Senior's Open competition. Friendly atmosphere in the Clubhouse and Pro shop. This is an easy walking flat course with a pretty tight front nine, with plenty of trees and hazards to trap the wayward shots. The greens had recently been hollow tined so were still recovering. The fairways are recovering well from last year's dry summer with only a few bare areas remaining. Green fee for 18 holes was £12.50 which I think is good value. I had a trolley malfunction and the guys in the Pro Shop supplied me with a replacement for the back nine, whilst taking care of my broken down one. Food in the 19th was tasty and well cooked with a choice of tea/coffee or alcoholic beverages. Would recommend this course to others looking for a round in the Derby area. Easier to get to via the A50 route than the ring road.

Tee times to close together, and there always seems to be 3 groups waiting at your long since booked tee time. Staff also like to send you out ahead of your time if you arrive early, just to make sure yr rammed up the arse of the group in front right from the 1st tee.

(Translated) Recommended because it is close to the city of Derby and the play fee is quite cheap. Formerly known as the Derby Golf Course, it is one of the oldest courses in Derby. The terrain is flat and there are creeks, but there are not many hazards. However, the large trees are a hazard in the air, and depending on your position, you may not be able to aim for the green. Tall trees that have never been seen in Japan accentuate the scenery of the course. When I went there before, the club party was open, and I was able to get a glimpse of the club life of British golf courses. Half play from the evening on this day. "The man at the pro shop is very kind!" (Original) Derbyの市内からも近く、プレイフィーもかなり安いのでお勧め。 以前はDerby　Golf Courseと言われ、Derbyの中でも歴史の有るコースです。 平坦な地形で、クリークなどが有りますが、あまり効いたハザードは有りません。ただ、大きな木々が空中のハザードとなっており、ポジションによってはグリーンを狙えないシチュエーションも起こります。 日本では見たことのない背の高い木々がコース景観のアクセントになっています。 以前、行った時にはクラブのパティーが開かれており、イギリスのゴルフ場のクラブライフを垣間見ることが出来ました。 この日は夕方からハーフプレイ。　プロショップのおじさん、とても親切です！
