Visited today in a large group for golf. Great sign posting and all covid-secure stuff in place. Bacon bap very welcome. On the course it pays to be careful avoid trouble to score well. Lightening fast greens which are in top shape. A challenging golf course

I don't write reviews very often but due to the service received during a recent visit I couldn't let the opportunity past. It was 1st class service all the way. The bar manager greeted us upon arrival and made us (a society of 16) feel very welcomed. Even topping up our coffee - what a lovely touch! Pro-shop was well stocked and the staff were equally as friendly. The golf course was superbly presented and the greens were fabulous. On the whole a great experience, I was quite envious at times! Had the pleasure of once again visiting the Club - for Sunday lunch - as guest of my father, a member of iro 30 years standing. The food & service (by all the staff I met) was excellent & I would highly recommend to anyone. As good as many top restaurants! Thank you for making it a special occasion.

As a non golfer, it seems strange to be writing a review about a golf club. However as a walker it is a great location to take a stroll. A superb parkland course with a variety of tree planting and the Evington Brook. I find the best way to enjoy this space is to start from Main Street. Entering along the narrow footpath which leads from Evington Lane and runs diagonally across the course towards the Evington Brook. Beware there is a very narrow turnstile type gate which gives access to the golf course.IMPORTANT NOTE, please stick to the clearly marked path across the Fairways and respect those enjoying a round of golf. On reaching the brook, cross the bridge and follow the path which also follows the line of the brook. You are walking parallel to the Gartree Road and heading for Shady Lane, via the Arboretum. The Arboretum is accessed via another turnstile type gate. Continue along the path, just before reaching Shady Lane, cross the bridge. continue up the hill to the Church of St Denys. Exit on to Church Road, or continue left towards The Hollow and exit into School Lane.

Excellent course currently undergoing development of some new tees and hole redesign. Long par 4s. Impressive Pro shop and staff. Good teaching facilities and high quality catering.

It's a dog walkers dream lovely grassed landscape leading to a beautiful aboretum eventually one can get refreshment at the Cow & Plough a good 3 hour walk Highly Recommended even the Golfers respect dog owners with leads

Most of the halls are long par 4 and there are no bunkers and no par 5s. Greens and fair ways are Okey. It is bit expensive compared to other courses in Leicester.
