Organised an evening meal at the golf club for forty people with Paul the manager, nothing was too much trouble, the food and service provided were excellent, the clubhouse facilities were great and a there was a good atmosphere. I would highly recommend their services.

Well-established traditional parkland course. Greens have some fantastic contours so you need to be a good putter to play well here.

Such a fascinating historic golf club almost hidden by what initially looks like a hamlet yet reveals itself to be a wonderful place with lots of nice room's and a lot of character, the course is very diverse and allows for a nice round of golf when playing with friends.

Lovely golf course but not one for short hitters. Lots of 400 yard par 4s and a 200 yard par 3 so you will need 3 shredded wheat before you play. Greens are undulating which are an enjoyable challenge. However, if you are a tree hugger like me you will enjoy it. I especially enjoyed watching two boxing hares. No probs getting to play as a visitor and were made very welcome. Would recommend. Still deliberating whether to apply for membership or not....

Played this course yesterday in the pouring rain. Lovely course but the rained spoilt the day. Food was a buffet but it was very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Will return when it's better weather. Recommend this place.

What a treat, we attended a party in the club house, all the staff were very attentive, friendly and welcoming, reasonably priced drinks at the bar. Food was absolutely amazing, a large buffet with the most sumptuous food, well presented and tasted as good as it looked. It will be my go to place for an event.

Normally a great place to play golf and eat but on this visit the greens were really slow and lumpy and the rough in great need of being cut back. The kitchen staff went home early so no hot food available after our round.

Considering the dry weather, was delighted with the course condition, greens wete slower but presume coukd only rolk as no growth to cut. Only dissappointment was at 3.30 when we went into the bar and no food available, hot or cold, which spoilt the overall experience. May be useful for the Pro to inform either at booking stage or when paying about bar facilities, as in mid summer would expect to be able to get something to eat. Iain Liston Waltham Grimsby
