A. D.A genuine hidden gem. The course is well
maintained overall. The greens are fast, run true, and in excellent condition. The green keepers have done a fantastic job in the harsh environment caused by the recent heat wave. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Can’t give them sufficient praise. We will be going back again and again. Looks like a simple walk through parkland course until you start playing when you find it will test your skills and mental game to the limits.

R. H.Very nice golf course. Just because it's 9 holes don't be fooled. 2 pins per green so both 9 is different, especially the way the greens are laid out. Was in superb condition. The greens are some of the best I've ever played. Was given a very warm welcome. And was not too expensive. Well worth a visit.

It's a lovely setting with views over the course and a lovely weather hazard with a fountain out front, making it very relaxing.
I'd definitely go back again when we're in the area.

The cleanliness & decor was of the highest quality, upon our arrival we received the warmest welcome from the proprietor Gail and her staff which carried on throughout our stay, the food was delicious too! T.As someone who used to work at Pottergate Golf Club you may feel that I would be a little biased in my opinions, but I have had to put pen to paper as it were and praise the amazing efforts by the owners, management, Professional and staff who make everyone very welcome. Over the past couple of weeks I have managed to dust off the clubs and have a number of games. Well I can’t praise the course enough, you will find it very difficult to find a golf course in such good condition as this, the greens are immaculate, they run true and quick (but not scary fast, but I’m sure it can be arranged!). Many improvements have been made over the past year, such as new tee boxes, new water hazards now in play, and just the general upkeep of the course by the Green keepers Andy & Miles. If you have not played this course before, I highly suggest you do, if you are new to the game or a scratch golfer, you will not be disappointed. It’s also ideal for visiting societies with a well stocked bar and fabulous food on offer. Obviously it has been difficult for golf clubs, with many aspects of life put on hold because of Covid 19, but give the club a call and arrange a game............You will be very happy you did!

A.Played pottergate golf club today whilst visiting Lincoln for one night stay,what can I say ...i didnt book in advance just turned up at 2pm on sunday hoping to play,from the moment I walked in the door was a brilliant experience was met by the owner who talked me through the course,greens etc,once on the was in excellent condition and the greens with 2 flags on each green for 18 hole experience were the best greens I've played this year..
The course had lots of character dont be fooled by only 9 holes it's a thinking course with hazards,water on each hole..
Every one on course was friendly and 2 groups let me through as playing on my own
After my round I had a drink were I the met the owner, also his wife,daughter,captain,chef,cleaner,and 2 old boys forget there names and all went out of there way to talk to me about my round...
Felt like a pro as I'd shot level par!!
The course even has accommodation
Will definitely come back

S. L.Very friendly staff, tidy clubhouse with highly recommend Sunday roast. Golf carts for rental. Very pleasant 9 holes with some undulating fairway and looked after greens.
