Just recently played the course at a Texas scramble and it was incredible the layout is fantastic fairways and greens are quality and the people seem really friendly can't wait to get another round there it's a hidden gem for me .

Loved playing the front 9 until rain stopped play! Really good course relatively flat Very friendly members , we were visitors and made to feel really welcome. Coffee machine at entrance to a small but well stocked pro shop. Again really helpful staff. Couldn't fault it. Will definitely play again.....in the sun! ⭐👍

Nice meal good service friendly staff. Revisited with a friend who's been a member for 30 years or so. Very quite (Tuesday lunchtime) , still very clean and pleasant restaurant with great views over the course. Happy to continue to recommend.

Called the pro shop last minute today Saturday, spoke to Richard and he was so helpful and accommodating. Had a 3 ball and thought the course was in great nick. True run on the slick greens.also the Tees were immaculate. Very grateful to Richard and pumpherston thanks so much. I'd recommend this course to any one.

Although the round was curtailed by a biblical deluge the clubhouse was a welcome relief. Rolls on bacon for lunch and a very pleasant two course dinner. Draught non-alcoholic beer at the bar was a benefit. Very fair course.

Pro was decent, £10 for an electric caddy is a bit steep, we played outing today, greens were terrible but had been cored for winter which I understand , but lovely looking course, recommended

I played 18 holes here and really enjoyed it. Each hole is different and interesting in its own way. It was a good challenge and well kept.

Not a bad course but with some faults. Poorly designed back 9 holes. No signs to direct golfers to 11th hole and 17th hole, which is a bit of a joke. Golf buggy battery ran out with 2 holes remaining and when we returned to the pro shop there was nobody there to get a refund!! Club house isn't desireable and looks and smells old. Giving it a generous 3 stars.

We had a lovely meal tonight at the Pentland View Bistro at Pumpherston Golf Club. Very friendly owners, terrific food, and a nice place to be. We'll definitely be back.
