I was fortunate enough to have been head chef at highgate for a year and a half, & only left due to personal circumstances... Although not a golf person myself, I have nothing but fond memories of my colleagues & the amazing relationship they have with the members, there truly is a strong sense of togetherness that I miss even after a few months gone.. We did our best to achieve the best food & service possible in the clubhouse, & hopefully long may that continue 🤞 All the best guys 👍

You can't believe this gem of a course is situated so close to the centre of London. Excellent greens which I think would be very fast in summer.

I joined a few months ago, and the experience has just been fantastic! I didn't know anyone there, but has since gotten to know so many members, most of whom have been members there for 10+ year. It's just such a friendly community, and such an impressive collection of people with diverse backgrounds and experiences. The staff as well really make an effort to know everyone, which actually does make a difference. There's plenty of competitions and social events to get involved in, so I'm playing a lot more than I initially planned to... The fees I should say are very reasonable as well, compared to some other clubs I've inquired to. They have special rates for young professionals and students, so it's really worth a visit.

Highgate Golf club is an absolute hidden gem. One of the best golf course in London if not the best. The course is in great condition with excellent greens, don't be fooled by its length, it's a challenge even for the low h/c golfer but not unrewarding or daunting. The staff, especially the two managers. Graham and William the Pro and the bar staff are all very welcoming. Good golf club food at a reasonable price with an interesting wine list. Sitting on the terrace watching the sunset with a view over north London a glass of wine at hand after a round of golf is a great way to spend an afternoon. Highly recommended.

Good little venue, understaffed however for the event I was attending. Good selection of drinks and a very surprising amount of German beers and even more surprising was the food buffet on offer. Great quality German foods. Toilets/locker areas were well equipped and maintained

My review is somewhat different perhaps. I played a gig here with my band Boys of Brass for a charity engagement organised by John Gidman to support the North London Hospice. No golf was thrashed out. The club house facility is highly respectable with plenty of room and seating space. The staff were absolutely cool and hard working, plus the grub served throughout the event was never sub par. Beers also appeared to be well kept and surprisingly competitively priced (we're a Newcastle based outfit so prices vary massively on our travels). The Gents changing facilities are spacious and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere for the day was fully enthusiastic. See you next time on our travels, or why not head along to the course and see what they offer?

Great round of golf near the city. The people who run it are really friendly and that moved me towards becoming a member. As a member you don't need to book tee times and the course is not often busy. The pro shop is good and has everything you need.

Highgate GC has established a well earned reputation for friendship throughout the membership. The refurbished clubhouse provides superb facllities along with the casual and informal dining provision. The course is improving every year and has already reached a high level of throughout the greens and fairways.

Highgate really is a 'club' only in name to be fair. The word doesnt really do it justice as it transcends 'club'. From the moment i arrived ive been met with a warmth and welcomed environment that enabled me to settle in straight away. Invites from multiple members to play, invites to enter competitions etc have been weekly and the general feel of the place is just like amazing. Staff are on point with any issues that may arise and the attitude towards 'service; is second to none. Im quite fussy where i spend my money, so it needed to have a high standard for me and i have to say, it met it no problem. I did think it would be a little snooty given its location and potential memberships financial status etc, but i gotta say-its sooooo not!! Its like playing with yer mates every week only youve not met them yet! A club really worth joining and getting involved with/

Really enjoy playing at the Highgate. Great fairways and greens. Very nice scenery. A little bit up and down by walking because its up the hill. Very disappointed with the staff lady at the registration counter. Very poor service. Treated us like we are fugitive. She seems doesnt even care to service us. Other than her everything was perfect.

Visited the clubhouse for a friend's birthday so I cannot comment on the golf facilities! It's a lovely venue with seating inside and out, a bar and food (our party was not catered by the club). The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Great for golf lessons. Ask for Robin Turner, he's a nice guy and a PGA professional. The golf course is also beautiful, and so close to central London.

I love everything about londo this is really awesome place amazig time it was Awesome area to take a load off. No place in London is a bad place of course, but this is a great central location to recharge. Lots of everything close, Trafalgar, Piccadilly, etc...

Club house is very nice which is supported by efficient staff. Not sure why they were Middlesexs club of the year in 2018 as there are far better clubs and courses in the County. Sudbury and Ealing to name two.

I did initially rate this a three. After a response from the club, i will make this a 4 star. I was only at the club for 2 hours at a work function. From the parts i used / saw the club seems very good, and i'll happily visit again.
