At the start of this golf season I was playing off 11 and struggling with a consistent swing and shot shape! I booked in for a lesson with Chris and he instantly reassured me that it was minor tweaks required and not a major overhaul to get me swinging correctly! His knowledge of the golf swing is unbelievable and his ability to guide me allowed me to quickly gain confidence and feel better about my swing. He made me feel relaxed and positive about my capabilities and is hugely motivating! I have had 5 lessons in total over 6 months with Chris and my handicap is now 4.8 and I shot my best ever round of 72 +2 to win the competition at my club just a few days ago! After playing golf for 35 years I’m finally playing my best ever and Chris has played a huge role in me reaching this level! I’m sure with Chris helping me I’ll hit my target of 2 next summer! Golf life begins at 40 it would appear!

Just started lessons with Chris and am already seeing some fantastic results. Chris breaks things down and explains how things should feel as well which really helps move your understanding forward. He uses the Trackman technology to really good effect, examining the swing as well as sending recorded summaries that you can refer back to after each lesson. 5 stars from me. Currently on 10.4 hc. Chris is extremely knowledgeable about the swings of the world’s top golfers and how they find the ideal impact position. Chris had me drawing the ball with irons and driver after one lesson and enabled me to produce a shallower swing path, more shaft lean and faster club speed. Chris uses Trackman which is great for both video and stat based analysis after sessions. I’d highly recommend to anyone wanting to vastly improve their game.

I have had a couple of lessons with Chris now. I was a complete novice and did not know anything about golf or had ever swung a club before, but Chris was very patient and explained everything clearly. Chris is an excellent teacher. He is very methodical and took his time to decide which elements of my swing to focus on and which to leave alone. I arrived shanking lots of hits and left feeling very confident and knowledgeable about what my bad shots are and WHY they happen so I can work on eradicating them from my game. Booked some lessons from the kids as a Father’s Day gift! Had trouble hitting my driver and topping it off the Tee. In one lesson Chris got me hitting consistently in the air which got me down the fairway on my next round. I have Been back two more times and each time I have seen improvements in my striking of the ball and gaining valuable extra yards by lengthening my back swing. Chris explains everything in a straightforward way that is easy to follow. He doesn’t try to change your whole swing, he just makes small changes to enable you to maximise the swing and not dent your confidence in the swing you had. I have gained so much I have booked my next lot of lessons with him.

This was my first assessment at the Trafford Golf Centre, I was really happy that Chris gave me just a couple of things to work on and I didn't have too much going on in my head. After videoing my swing and assessing a couple of my swing problems we started to try a couple of adjustments, by the end of the session I was hitting some of the best shots I had hit for years. Just recently decided to resume playing golf after a hiatus of about ten years. After playing a round and spraying the ball around like WW1 machine gunner I thought a lesson would be a good idea. Chris immediately pinpointed the major issues with my sketchy posture and swing and showed me what was required to correct them using some high tech computer video wizardry. By the end of the hour the ball was regularly travelling in the desired general direction consistently. Would absolutely recommend. A very affable and clearly knowledgeable bloke who has given me the opportunity to enjoy playing golf again.

How do you choose a golf tutor? You could look at google reviews, or you could use a recommendation from a friend. A friend can tell you so much more than a straight-forward google review. But what happens if you don't have a friend who can recommend? Well, let me be your friend. Chris was recommended to me and what a good choice it was going with that recommendation. Chris has all the "toys" to help you understand what you are doing right and wrong, but if a teacher cannot communicate effectively what you should be doing then they are no good as a teacher. Thankfully, Chris is not only a good teacher he is also extremely professional in his whole manner and interaction with you. I'm looking forward to a long relationship with Chris as I seek to understand and play this beautiful game better.

Always wanted to get into golf but never got around to it. Had an initial assessment with Chris to try and get started. Chris is an excellent quality coach with loads of patience and expertise - very skilled and able to break down every swing and movement into tiny micro details to make sure I develop. Having taken a prolonged break from the game, I returned about 18 months ago and soon realised my swing wasn't in the same shape it was when I left the game and started working with Chris soon after. During that time, I've probably had about 8 - 10 lessons and recently reviewing the footage of my swing when I first started working with Chris compared to now, the differences are dramatic. Chris has helped me correct my uncontrolled slices into controlled draws and this has been reflected in my scoring, going from shooting in the high 90's to low/mid 80's. I'm still working with Chris and this year I will be focussing on shot shaping and the finer aspects of my game with the aim of getting into the 70's. I still have off days, but I think the best endorsement I can give Chris is when I do, I can hit the range and think about everything he has taught me and recover my swing. In addition, Chris is a genuinely nice guy and you'll have a lot of fun working with him. Highly recommend.
