Reviews of Junkyard Golf Club | Crazy Golf Manchester
Great experience and food was good for the party. Service top notch and golf was proper fun
Had a lovely afternoon playing golf and drinking cocktails the staff were all lovely especially @grace 😊 ❤ x
Had a great night here. The second round of golf was half price too! The staff were lovely and helpful. Both the courses were really fun to play and it was a good laugh. We had cocktails that were great too. Really recommend going!
1st date night in forever & did the course Gary will definitely be back to do the others never had so much fun
Quick check in service. Chap on reception was helpful and explained things well. Door staff were friendly to. Had a good laugh going around the course. Only downside I would say is too many people start off at the same time which can make you feel pressured to hurry up. Terrace is a nice touch.
Had a great time here to celebrate my sons birthday. Would recommend
Enjoyed it but was over very quickly just 9 holes. Nice cocktails, no cash accepted here.
Went here for my 23rd birthday! Had a blast! Always love coming here!
It's a really nice indoors place with 3 different courses. Drinks are amazing you should definitely drink something while there. Courses don't last long but they are cheap, you could easily do 2 courses in one go. The atmosphere is like a pub with neon lights with some pop music but low enough that you can chat with friends. Overall I can't recommend this place enough.
We had an excellent time here for my partner's birthday. The course was well thought out, with great attention to detail and plenty of photo opportunities. It didn't feel too crowded at all, despite it being a busy day. The drinks were awesome too.

Good fun to be had. Bar area upstairs can get a bit busy, and there are 3 courses, 9 holes each.
I'd suggest booking 2 courses, as it only takes 30 minutes to get round, however at £10ish for 9 holes it can get pricey. Would be nice if they did 2 courses for a discounted prices
Good. Short. Fun.
9 holes go really quick, so book more than one, or replay holes until you've had enough.
Great fun though, and good idea to have another alcohol bar half way through the course :)
Had a great time here to celebrate my sons birthday. Would recommend

Been wanting to visit here ever since seeing various friends flood Instagram with photos of it.
It is very much style over substance, the effort that has gone into the decor is great and being able to drink in the course is good. No kids at the weekends is a bonus too!
The courses were very simplistic though in my opinion, you could quite easily finish one in 15-20 mins. At £10 for 9 holes it is quite expensive too, if you're visiting I'd definitely recommend doing at least 2 courses.
Absolutely loved coming here, lovely atmosphere and staff, great bar too. Just wish there were some more holes to play as I think £10 is a little steep for 9 holes that only took us 20 minutes. However overall, a nice day out.
We really enjoyed mini golf here. There were good deals on drinks and the courses were unique and fun! We originally only booked 2 courses but ended up doing all 3 on the day as we really enjoyed it!
Cool vibe upon entry, staff are friendly. Funky drinks that you probs won't find at other places. Golf course was fun, different to the usual courses I've seen. Would love to try the other courses as we only did the Gary one
Went here for my 23rd birthday! Had a blast! Always love coming here!
If you want a longer experience it is beat to book at least 2 courses. One course is only 9 holes so it can fly by quickly
Drinks are over £7 for a cocktail.
-Great place, would say it’s more of an adult place though kids are allowed after 6 only if accompanied I think.
-Though even better, you can take drinks down the course which makes for a great experience with friends.
- A bit pricy if there’s a lot of you but if you’ve got discounts you’ll be fine and they also do discounts for multiple courses.
-It’s definitely better to book ahead as sometimes they can be full.
-Located in Deansgate, and super close to major restaurants too. You can grab a couple drinks after some pizza or a steak.
-There are 3 Courses and they’re the same across all Junkyards and the staff are great and helpful.
- A great place to go on a date or hang out with friends and/or family.
Fun to play. However, it was very short for the price of it. Only 9 holes, the whole game takes 20 mins. Would recommend if your willing to pay for the other courses.
Great fun indoor mini golf course. Visited over the Easter holidays with the kids. Played the 9 hole Pablo course and for a family of 5 it took around 45 minutes to complete. Inventive holes and good decorations throughout. A good rainy day activity
Novel way to spend an hr in the city.
Mini golf course and booze, good fun, well organised to keep things moving on the courses.
We went as a couple and found the experience was a bit short, a 9 hole round only took us about 20 minutes, so I wouldn't travel across the city just to do 1 round. Think it's more geared to stags/hens/bigger groups who are using it as a "bar with a difference". There are bars half way round each course too, to allow yoy to top up, but these are only open later in the evenings.
All in all we had a great time and we were in the area anyway so the duration didn't affect us too badly.
Visited Friday with some friends for my birthday celebrations, staff very friendly and the vibe was really good! The golf course was so much fun, especially after a few cocktails and a cocktails & shot on ' the house ' thank you so much for that. Will defo be back on our next manchester trip to try another course! 🥰
Also, the cocktails 5*!!
Good fun! you can get round the course in 10 minutes if there are no queues.
The actual golf part to the experience went way too fast and not challenging but it looks really cool and I liked the mirror section
Worth the money? If ur paying like 8.50 a ticket no.
If u get student ticket for 4 something then yh worth the price cos looks cool and u can buy drinks and get good insta photos if u wanted to
The whole team in Manchester and Amica from customer services live chat went above and beyond for our visit! We originally had a booking on Saturday night for a hen do, however during the first hole the hen became unwell and we had to leave. The next morning I contacted customer services to see if we could come back and finish our game before we left to travel home. Luckily, before we left the night before I mentioned what had happened to a member of staff behind the front desk. Amica got in contact with the venue and they managed to accommodate us to come back straight away (we were a 10 min walk away).. Not only did they fit us in short notice, they arranged a complimentary drink as a congratulations for the bride to be AND gave us the option to play all 3 courses for free! Every member of staff we spoke to were so friendly and chatty on both visits! THANK YOU so much Ollie, Amica and the team. Understandably we were all pretty upset that our night ended early the night before but you completely turned our entire weekend around with your compassion and understanding! Thank you, thank you, thank you! 🖤
Fun place for some golf, we finished a game within 30 mins, so was a little short but the course was certainly enjoyable, there is also a bar for before or after for beers/cocktails, I would visit again.
Went here for a great night out with work colleagues. The bar before it served some crazy cocktails which went down a treat. The golf layout was cool with different levels. There was a small bar halfway through the course which was welcomed by all involved. Will definitely go again when we have a chance.
It was good fun playing crazy golf and lots holes. Just a pity the menu is only soft drinks and alcohol drinks and only 2 food options.
Really cool place with some unusual but brilliant cocktails to drink while you wait for the course to be ready. The mini golf courses are unique, haven't seen their like anywhere in the UK. The place does get busy so definitely book in advance.
Really cool and awesome place! A great concept of taking mini golf to the next level! Three different courses to choose from at £8 each. Each course has 10 holes. I would recommend taking it slow and having fun. There's a bar outside so you can play while having drinks. However, it's a bit difficult to take it slow when there's people waiting for you to finish that hole. It took about 15 minutes to finish the whole course.
Overall, the best experience I had in mini golf!
Great venue for fun crazy golf, vibrant, buzzing & busy. Selling food , drinks & merchandise. 3 different courses to choose from and very different from the normal courses. In the dark with luminous paintwork and if its your 1st time you never really know whats around the corner, friendly staff even have bar stops on way around the course. Defo worth booking in advance.
Had one of the best evenings here! There’s 3 golf courses to choose from which is lots of fun and plan on going back and doing one of the different courses when I’m back in Manchester! Drinks are really expensive which is a shame, so very much recommend going for some pre drinks before hand! Lots of fun though, have some great memories here
Junkyard Golf Club is a really good place to go for a date, it is super fun and the drinks taste amazing, had a purple rain cocktail and even though it costed 7.50£ which is a bit pricey but they taste amazing. One thing I have to comment on is the length of the game, it is relatively short and wished it had tougher courses or more holes. Other than that everything was on point.
It is good, but my only downer is if you go as a couple it's short. The 9 holes don't last that long.
It's quite a funny place, genius idea. Three different golf maps to choose from, possibly a little short and not too many holes, but it's a very nice place. Unique friendly and young adult atmosphere.
Cracking little date day. £5 cocktails happy days.
Really cool atmosphere and the cocktails are lovely.
The courses were quite short being only 9 holes and we found they were quite rushed with the amount of people present.
Enjoyed this new experience. Everyone was friendly. Didn't realise it was only 9 holes per course, was a little disappointed when I got to the end, would have booked for more courses. The holes all seemed a little short too, but there was limited space. Great concept and was fun!
Lovely atmosphere. We went on a weekday so the courses were a little cheaper. But it was still busy and sooo much fun. Definitely recommend !!
Conveniently located in Deansgate, a fun place for couples, families, and friends. The price of drinks are moderately priced, too. There is no parking at the premises, but there are paid parking both on-street and off-street nearby.
Loved it here! We made an impromptu visit after having dinner in town and it did not disappoint! Brilliant atmosphere, drinks were delicious and reasonable in price. It was busy but we weren't stuck waiting on the course, were able to just play at our own speed. Fab night!
Really nice and fun place but maybe 8 pound are a bit too much, I'd like to have more holes for this price. Staff is so chilled it seems it doesn't exist and the bar is pricy but has a nice selection of cocktails and strong IPAs. They don't really are good for wines tho, only small.bottles as if it was a cinema. Nice experience tho, I'll be coming back again at some.point.
Great night out but was so shocked to see 4 glass cups with tealights in them lit up underneath one of the fake palm trees and in a place that can be easily knocked over by a person or golf stick. Considering people are drinking too it just didn't seem safe at all.
It was fun to be with friends but the crazy golf course was pretty average. Have been to much better ones. Atmosphere was fun though.
Visited yesterday to celebrate my 40th birthday and hen do, our trains had been cancelled so we would of completely missed our timeslot, the staff were amazing allowing us to play when we arrived, 3 hours after out booking. Really enjoyed the pablo course. Thank you
A fun crazy golf experience. Book online and turn up at your time slot and get golfing!
Great mix of cocktails at a reasonable price which we were able to take with us on the courses. The whole experience was quite short (approx 30 minutes per course) but felt worth the price of entry.
Fabulous fun night celebrating a Birthday awesome place staff were fab 1 of my group defo taking his work staff there for a treat . You will enjoy every bit of the night there well done junk yard 👏
Fantastic place for friends, the courses are fun and the drinks are a reasonable price, with a nice selection of cocktails.
For one course it's around £9.50 with Cocktails being £7.50 or so.
Me and friends spent around an hour or more here.
The course is well put together and fun, I find it to be a good activity to do before a night out with friends.
Great experience. Would recommend to anyone. Went in a group of 4, but would be equally as fun with a couple or group of 10+. Each course (there are 3 to chose from) has 9 holes to play. Some are hard and take a few shots, others are easier. Great fun nonetheless. Less than 5 mins walk from Deansgate tram stop, and 10-15 mins walk from city centre. So, when are you going?
Great place to visit for able-bodied persons it is also a child-friendly please. There is a bar within in where you can can get your alcohol beverage from prices are above average price rather dear for a beer in this place. We played the Gary round consisting of nine holes only
Was good fun, friendly staff, each course is only 9 holes, beat to take all 3 routes for maximum enjoyment.
Very cramped and claustrophobic feel; also the lighting on the course ruined my enjoyment. 95% nightclub, 5% golf, 0% chance of us coming back. May be enjoyed by some, but not my scene.
Had so much fun here. Cocktails were good and the service was friendly
Had to queue a while for each hole. But a good experience and staff are very helpful.
Loved it in here even if I did lose by one point
Great cocktails 😊
Really good and fun apart from on the bar upstairs the bar man refused to serve my friend because she " slured her words." it was our second drink of the day but I guess its better to be safe than sorry
Loved it here....only one thing that would make it that bit better.....instead of 9 holes make it 18. ..absolutely fab!!!!
Was a quirky and cool mini golf place here, This place has the intent to get really drunk with your friends, but please be aware it is slightly expensive for just 9 holes! But besides that a fun experience!
All the staff were lovely and welcoming, the golf courses themselves were amazing and different to most other mini golf places. The drinks and food were good value for money. Good for family nights, groups of friends or even a date night.
Great place, something slightly different for adults meaning drinking as you're playing. Well thought out place. Group of 6 thoroughly enjoyed it. Wasn't queues behind you as you were playing. Drinks - some on the slightly expensive side. Attentive staff and welcoming.
Had a good laugh, went for a work do. The course was short, there were 15 of us, but it was fun.
Had a good game of golf, however thought it was aimed more for younger children not adults. Enjoyed though.
Have been here a few times and most recently on a work do. Bit of a laugh, cheap enough and good drinks range.
It was so good i can't recommend the slushies more they were so good and the gold itself is very fun in a group
Loved this place. Don't go for a night out - most of the reviews I read I think were looking for that and missed the point! Was great fun as a bar stop, fab cocktails, good laugh short fun course (Bozo) and moved on - highlight of the night.
This place is not for the serious crazy golfer. Too many Instagram-able scenes which tempts people to take photographs rather than play
Really fun place ,staff were welcoming and helpful good for a wee cocktail before, during and after the crazy golf
Pretty good laugh.
Bit pricey for 9 hole course and pay extra for cloakroom but still good fun :)
Well recommend but the courses are short and the place gets busy so book in advance
Good fun! Can be a bit of waiting around if there's a big group in front though
We enjoyed this place. We did it alongside a bit of a bar crawl and an escape room. It's over quite quickly, if I came back I'd definitely book 2 courses. Cocktails were lovely, very sweet but I enjoy that kind of thing occasionally.
Good night great atmosphere
The hole were on the short side could.of made them a bit longer but hard with limited space I suppose
One of the better crazy golfs I’ve ever been to, with a nice touch of a bar halfway though the course. Loved the clown course.
Queue for the bar was looooooong, but overall its a great half hour or so playing crazy golf
Great relaxed atmosphere with music playing in background friendly staff, great for fun with the family, of all ages general great feeling in this place, and the golf was funny , 😀
We went for my boys 21st, absolutely loved it here me and the hubby felt young again! Will be back soon for sure
Good fun, although a tad noisy for my middle-aged ears....great for groups. Some of the holes seem impossible....thank goodness for the 8-try limit or we'd have been there all night
Amazing as always
Great fun and great drinks!
Love this place ❤️
Had a great time golfing! The cocktails had a nice flavour but we're way too sour! Tasted like I was drinking pure lemon juice
Super fun! Good range of drinks, the golf course is really fun but I would reccomend booking 2 rounds because it can go by quite quickly, and having people behind you waiting for their turn can make you feel a little rushed!
But overall very fun and a good day out
1. The drinks are delicious. 2. The music is always great. 3. It's an awesome atmosphere and a really fun night, whether you go with friends or for a date. 4. Both of the courses are super fun and nicely themed. (Though they are pretty easy). 5. It's just really awesome!
Visited this place over the weekend with some pals. I would recommend to everyone of all ages. It is good fun, the prices are a tad cheeky though. However, the atmosphere is good, and you should have a good time. As other reviews have stated, I would recommend booking or paying for more than 1 course, as depending on how busy it is. You can get through them quite quickly.
Loved the course & the whole concept of the place. Great price & vibe - only reason I gave 4 stars not 5 was even though the bar staff were awesome, didn't like that they packed the drink with a mound of ice but also felt really unhygienic the way their bare hands were all over the ice in the drinks (cupping the ice) & adding the sweets garnish. Would suggest gloves or just one person handling cards/money & another handling drinks. Would still definitely go back as we had a fab time
Had such a good laugh on our staff night out. Nice, welcoming friendly staff and top cocktails. Will be back again!!!
We had a fun time here. As a lot of the reviews suggest, a 9 hole course goes by in about 30 mins. A discount for several courses would be welcome. The drinks were okay, but £5 on off peak days and you can't really complain.
This was a treat from my daughter and a first for me. It was a good laugh. Maybe expensive if you want to do all the courses at once but a good way to spend some enjoyment time. Great that you can ditch belongings securely for a small price.
Amazing fun!! Can't wait for the new bigger venue!! This is a must for anyone visiting Manchester and looking for something fun an unique to do!!
Fab day for fun drinks; it’s a little dark but loads of fun. Felt a bit rushed with our drinks cos of covid you can’t carry them with you so we had to drink them quickly then go play golf which took the fun out of it a bit. Still a cool place to visit!
Over a little quick, but good fun, if you like sugar then would recommend their cocktails.
Fun but over in less than 30 mins, if it wasn't for waiting for the group in front to finish it would have been quicker. I did the Pablo course and it was pretty cool but the last hole was shockingly bad compared to the others!
Cocktails, neon golf, what's not to like.
If you want a fun active date that's completely different from the norm this is the spot.
Fun course with different objects in the way, good fun on a saturday night. Good for a first date to break the ice
It's ok, 9 holes goes too quickly though. Disco course was very dark, hard to see ball and clubhead sometimes.
We had a great date night here, really fun but short courses if you're playing as a couple
Fun and edgy mini golf!
I’ve been to 2 out of the 3 courses now and plan to do the third soon!
Wish there were more non-alcoholic drinks available for those who do not want to drink during the day.
The courses themselves are very creative/arty and different to your usual mini golf places.
This was a good place for a stag, we also saw hens here too. Music was a tad loud in the upper waiting area. There are drinks available to buy, alcoholic and non alcoholic, as well as food. The course itself was filled with interesting ways to the hole. There is a 9 (if you want to do half) and a 18 hole course. There is a cloakroom for jackets and bags. as far as i could tell, it is a franchise so dont expect something different in another location.
Was a good laugh in there but expected to be alit bigger, more than nine rounds too.
Really cramped, too many people at once. Need a better system for the toilet and bar other than people just running through other people's games non stop. Bit unsafe due to lack of space saw a few people nearly get hit in the head with loose golf balls. Also courses aren't very complicated - went to the one at Piccadilly and it was miles better than this one.
Fun place and easily accessible. Right near NCP car parks, bars and restaurants.
Wow! What a place!! The courses here are extremely unique - all of the holes are made out of junk - and they are so imaginative it's incredible! The cocktails here are as unique as the courses - and are very very tasty! However, they are a little bit pricey. Be sure to check out the free selfie gif machine maker!
Probably best done in a group. Two of us playing was fun, however, took only twenty minutes to complete one of the courses. Would like to go back and try the other two courses.
Great experience! So funny, can't wait to try the other courses!
Brilliant. There are three courses to play. We only played one called Gary. Really good course. Definitely going back. Highly recommend it. Does tend to get busy so book in advance.
Good fun, tax expensive for the length of time it took to complete but not too pricey.
Was very busy but was also Saturday afternoon.
Course props were well thought out and were challenging and funny
Would go back and do another one 😁
Great place and the courses are great. However if your a bit fat like me then it's hard to play alot of the holes cause u have no room for u and the club to comfortably hit the ball.
Fun, cheap and quick. Cocktails are daft but made well. Expensive for drink but you're nit in there too long. Didnt have to wait too long for the team ahead to mice to the next hole.
Nice place gets very busy courses are a bit short
Fantastic night out, Fun for all the family. The cocktails are funky and fun, The lighting could be a tad brighter however this doesnt effect the game play, will return 5**
One of the orogional and best , alot of fun and still feels fresh and new , great value for money , get involved
Good fun but course goes too quickly, only took 20 minutes for me and my partner. Great atmosphere and great fun but by the time youve got into it it's over unless you book another round
Loved junk yard golf. Was hilarious. Great themes too.
Visited on Saturday and had a great time.
Good selection of different holes and courses, great for a laugh with friends.
Good fun, but really easy and o er in about 20mins.
Awesome place. City centre, nice staff, for £10 you can enjoy 9 cool mini golf courses. Nice drinks, good laugh, to return
Brilliant experience. Great atmosphere, good fun, lovely drinks and tip top service!
Its fun enough but we took literally 20 minutes for the whole thing. Tiny holes too. For the price expected a bit more but the service is really nice.
Bit disappointed with my visit, not sure if its usual practice; or just since covid, but after arriving for our booked time we were forced to sit and wait for 30 minutes at the bar area, we were just there for the golf; but it felt like we were being kept there to entice us to buy drinks while we waited. We had already made food reservations for after, but had to cancel and book somewhere else due to the unexpected delay. We did end up ordering two cocktails to pass the time of our wait, my girlfriend had a passionfruit one which was tasty, my cranberry drink was pretty tasteless. We completed the circus course, unfortunately its only 9 holes which both of us completed in under 20 shots each, and only took around 20 minutes despite having to queue towards the later holes. It looked great on the website pictures and we were really excited to try but it fell far short. I dont think we will be returning to try the other course. Sorry.
Really enjoyed the course we did. Just not long enough, but worth a visit!
The place is to expensive for such a small course. But it’s great fun and the cocktails are good as well. If money doesn’t matter - check it out!
Great fun day out! They serve good selection of drinks and some finger food! Very quirky & one of a kind entertainment.
Great place to have a drink and play a game of crazy golf
Really good fun. Very busy on Saturday night so there was quite a wait. But great music and cocktails.
I'm giving it 3 stars because the place itself is cool, with the neon lights, cars, slides... But it's not worth what it costs. They take you in, seat you at the bar (whether you want a drink or not), and the golf itself is 9 holes that you can do in 15 minutes (max 4 tries per hole if you're not wasted) . They also make the following group come right after which makes you feel the pressure to go quicker, so even being short it takes even less time. I guess that makes it more profitable for them, but less enjoyable for the client. Wouldn't recommend it.
Very interesting concept and a fun evening out, but very crowded on an evening with lots of loud people and very thumping music. Great for a party out though, thoroughly enjoyable and various paints on the courses make things light up neon. Not particularly challenging holes, but there is a handy bar set at the mid-point, ready to take your drinks order as you wait for people in front of you to move. Overall a fun evening!
Just simply amazing. Loved it... Could've done it for longer
Great fun, each course is only 9 holes though and quite quick to get round. Kids are welcomed during the day.
Super busy but fun
Beer on tap is terrible
Great fun, bar service tales tales while
Staff memeber Chris absolute legend in the making 10/10 human being! Absolutely loved our time here staff are amazing great time 100% would come here again! Had so much fun drink were also great!
Good cocktails however I thought the courses would be bigger and better. They are small and quick to get through. The one's in Trafford Centre and Chill factor are a lot better
First time there...really great experience there..especially if you are a golf fan...even if you are not you will love it...
Loved my mocktail too...
Great night out. Drinks, neon lights, crazy golf and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend plus 3 courses to choose from. Will definitely come again
Fun day packed out place .
Really fun round of mini golf! Played the Gary course and the holes all had a quirky twist to them, including a slide!
The two of us on a Saturday, just after lunch got round in about 20 mins. But as we left it got very busy, so it would have taken a lot longer! If we went again I'd probably go a bit earlier and book all the courses.
Cocktails were very good! Would have a few more of those next time too!
Fantastic place we have been to, we have been to many competitors and I have to say for us we are converted, the music was great, drinks priced ok, there were lots of people there but even in these times, we never felt too close to other groups or crowded even in the bar area.
Crazy cocktails that taste lovely, nice staff too. My only grumble is that it doesn't take long to go round and is a bit expensive for what it is. Only nine holes per course and if there's only two of you, you'll be all done in about 10-15 minutes. Would suggest only going if you're in a big group, couples might be better off going to the longer course in the print works to get your money's worth.
Been here twice and have played on all 3 courses now. The first time we went in a group of 4 and it took around 45 minutes to complete each course. The courses are a lot of fun and I would definitely go back.
It would be good if there were more courses or if they were longer. The drinks are on the pricier side.
There are 3 themes junk yard, circus and jungle we did the circus theme. we also went quite late so it meant it was quite so we got round with no rush over all it was really cool, LED lights, crazy golf on another level. Defintley recomend either with a group of friends or a date. ;)
Great Place!!!
Had an amazing time, loved every minute.
The place is fun and entertaining.
I would suggest don't wear heels. I made that mistake, the courses aren't over flat surfaces.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
Loved the photo booth at the start.
Cocktails are amazing, bars are dotted around the courses as well.
Also there is a cloak room.
But it is dim lighted, but I suppose if you don't wear heels and look where your going you'll be fine.
Its okay. Very expensive compared to other golf experiences, we was in there for all of 20 minutes for £8pp. Usually pay that but for around an hour at other venues crazy golf. Drinks were extortionate £12 for 2 drinks. Will bring own next time. They also let too many people in at once as your just waiting around for party in front to finish and the party behind are then waiting for you. Felt rushed. Decor is good and higher standard than most other venues which is all i could say is better. Not really good value for money would not go again to be honest.
I love junkyard golf, its great fun, the staff are brilliant and the cocktails are fab!
Yea its fun and a great activity for an early night I guess... note that there are 3 trails and are a bit short(9 holes). Depending on how many people you have in the group may take about 45 minutes to finish a trail. So if you plan on spending more time here be prepared to be charged again to have another go on another trail. The experience is pretty nice though...
Really unique place the drinks and golf course are good fun. The courses are over rather quickly so definitely book two
Fun atmosphere. It’s better not during peak hours as you tend to have the courses by yourself and take as many goes as you like without the pressure of the people behind you.
On the circus round, the last hole takes forever during peak hours where most people leave to not go the hole due to too many people on the course.
Cocktails are fun and tasty
Good drinks, fun games in there as well
Really good drink menu, great range! Wish the golf courses at junkyard golf were longer, as you tend to get through it really fast if there is nobody in front of you that you’re waiting for. Other than that I enjoyed it thoroughly and would recommend for people to give it a go.
I had really mixed feelings about it because I did enjoy myself however the experience was incredibly short to the point where we finished in less than an hour as we discovered the holes were tiny and there were only basically two or three rooms (depending on how you count it).
There is another course of 9-holes, which I’d be interested to try and it was only only around £8, which isn’t the worst, however this place was massively over hyped and nowhere near as good as any crazy/mini/adventure/pirate golf that I’ve done in the past.
Overall, I think it was a laugh with a few friends and/or colleagues (or family) and wasn’t badly priced at less it than a tenner but I’d lower my expectations and maybe opt for all 18 holes to extend the enjoyment.
Had a post-lockdown date night here a few weekends ago, great atmosphere and whilst it was a lot of fun we were expecting the course to be a bit longer! The drinks were also a bit more expensive than you’d think, for what they are but it was a fun experience.
Loved this place from the moment I stepped inside. Great music and atmosphere and the cocktails are inventive, good value and fun! (not to mention delicious!) 3 themed golf courses to choose from and each hole has a little table so you can drink as you put! Staff were friendly and welcoming. For a sunny Saturday afternoon I was expecting it to be it to be heaving with people but actually even though we saw quite a few people there was never a long queue for the bar and we had no trouble getting a table even when we moved to the outdoor seating to enjoy the weather. Will definitely be going back to try the rest of the golf courses. They have fun t-shirts you can buy so this would be great for a group outing. Thank you for a great afternoon Junkyard Golf!
First date here with my partner was very excited to enjoy this great concept.
The courses whilst being extremely tiny were quite imaginative and fun was had. We were a bit confused about which course we were allowed on and weren't really told you only get one course.
The staff weren't very helpful, and one of the female staff who worked the cloakroom was absolutely miserable. Drinks were reasonably priced and I like that there was a bar half way round the course, even if it was just a girl sat on a cooler
Not great but fun enough for a date. Friendlier staff would have made the experience much better
Excellent atmosphere brilliant drinks and great staff. Highly recommend.
Really enjoyed my time here. Well organised especially how busy it was with a lot of Big groups. The drinks are good value and I was especially please to see a bar half war around the golf course! Each hole is really different and of varying degrees of difficulty. Great party atmosphere and lots of laughs!
The games are a lot of fun but they are short as they seem a place for a social event more than an actual mini golf game. The atmosphere is quite lovely with all different game moods as you are able to choose from different places. The music is Lovely and my overall experience was okay, I just expected a little more golf difficulties
Only 9 holes. Bit pricey and over too quick
Great service, everyone was really friendly and helpful. We played on the jungle course and loved it. Would go again!
This is a great place to play mini-golf if you're in a small group. The atmosphere is enjoyable and the courses well-designed albeit a bit short, fun, and a bit difficult as well. Prices are a bit high but still mostly justifiable. If you've got an evening with some friends, Junkyard Golf is a lot of fun.
Drinks offering, IMO, is very poor yet very overpriced. Paying 6 quid for a premium ale and having it served in a plastic cup wasn't great. Cocktails look very good but are just very sweet with little alcohol. The golf itself was fairly good, and a decent challenge, although it was disappointing to only have 9 holes as part of the course. After lots of queueing at each hole it's disappointing that it ends so quickly
Loved the themed cocktails at the bar with the packets of sweets and lollies in them. We booked to go on a Saturday afternoon. Love that you have to booked so the place wasn't absolutely rammed.
Was a little unsure about a place like this as I don't like cheesy stuff but had an absolutely great time. Took about an hour to get round the course then we went to NQ64 for some retro games. Great night! :)
Enjoyable though relatively short crazy golf games. Staff are helpful.
It's fun and a different night out. The drinks are very interesting, but over priced for a cocktail with some sweets in. They tend to let too many people on the courses at one time, creating a huge queue. The courses themselves aren't long enough, either. They also charge you to hold your coats or bags.
Great fun, very innovative and well thought out courses! Great selection of cocktails, beers etc. but I think nine holes seems a little short for the price. Would be good if we could have done two of the courses!
Lots of fun. Amazing cocktails and a wide range of beers and non alcoholic drinks the adult only crazy golf is fantastic with a range of fun courses. The bright neon lights and dark theme add to the atmosphere and make the whole thing great fun and well worth the money. The have some fun souvenirs including a photo booth. The only complaint I can thing of is I wish there was a bigger gap between playing teams as terrible players like myself can take awile meaning the people behind can catch up. Otherwise its great fun!! 😊
This place is great! From the bouncers to the bar staff everyone was really friendly and helpful. It's a nice, clean venue and easy to get to from either Deansgate or Oxford Road station. The drinks are a bit pricey but they're all themed and are dotted around the courses so it's easy to get served. Definitely going back soon!
Try it out its lots of fun but it's not cheap and please don't blame me if you don't enjoy yourself
Great mini-golf experience, especially for first timers. Holes were not too difficult but still fun to play and lots of varitiey. There were lots of creative holes and each course had its own unique theme. Remember that you need ID to go at certain times, student discount also available (50% off).
Great night, great atmosphere and music. Took 45 mins to get around, value for money not as bad as people making out as its not exactly a standard mini golf course. Cocktails very nice. All in all a fantastic night and cant wait.to go back to play on the other courses.
Absolute blast of an afternoon. Brilliant setup, with more routes to follow on our next visit, all at different levels. Although there were plenty of people there at the time - no long ques waiting to move on.
Nice to have somewhere to eat n' have a decent drink afterwards (and before) too.
Came for a friends stag do and had an great time. Being able to drink while playing mini golf freely is great for these type of events (or similar!). The course itself was very original and had a good mixture of difficulties - the last hole being particularly difficult. Only managed to do one floor, but believe there is another level which I may need to try next time! Would recommend for those who is unsure where to go for a few hours in Manchester!
Nice compact mini golf course, a little dark and generally very easy. Great location near first Street with lots of bars nearby.
We (3 of us) went at about 2pm on a Saturday and it was very busy with a few big groups so getting around the course took a while. Cocktails are 7.50 per one, but they do spitits/mixer for about £4 so be warned that it's pricey. There's a clock room where it'd cost £3 to hang your coat and bag. The course we went on was 9 holes and cost us 9.50 each so not too bad, but it's made up in the price of bevs.
Great fun good courses and great idea of mini golf and cocktails ... shame the courses don't last longer tho
Was a good trip. Would be good if you could choose an option to do all three as we could only squeeze a booking in for one round of nine.
Really good fun.
Went as part of a stag weekend splitting our group over the two courses. Really good concept and great for a bit of competition, you can get drinks on the way round as well. It was incredibly busy when we went round but that's to be expected on a Saturday night. Will definitely go again, even if only to try out the other course.
The mini golf it's self was very fun, small but great course (GARY), only nine holes. Got what we paid for I guess.
Cannot get served at the upstairs bar when it is busy at all so I wouldn't even bother unless it's quiet, cocktails looked good but staff took far too long making them. Food seemed very well priced but x1 can of 'Hooch' will set you back £5.
Fun game to play with friends. Nice cocktails that come with a mini bag of sweets.
I can't say it wasn't fun, but it isn't enough bang for your buck. 10.50 per person for a 9 hole course. 1 pound per coat to keep it in the cloak room and 2 pound per bag. The drinks are very nice but a bit on the expensive side. Also some of the staff seem to just like to talk to colleagues and customers instead of serving waiting people. If I could I would give it 2.5 stars but it will have to be 3. If the courses were bigger and the drinks a couple of quid cheaper I could deal with the rest of the complaints. But as it stands the place just isn't good enough.
Pretty good fun but overpriced. Took my lad for a bit of a birthday treat. To be honest I expected more for my money. In and out in 20 minutes for 16 quid plus a quid to hang your coat up, made it way overpriced for me
Looking at it, the Pablo course looked the better of the two.
We had pre booked a party of 11 and we split the group over 2 of the courses.
We had a couple of drinks at the bar then went off playing golf.
The 9 holes on either course lasted around 30 minutes and it was good fun.
Back to The bar for a few more drinks then we headed off for food.
Great way to spend 90 mins or so.
Have been here about a year before but still had a great vibe, even though we played the same holes again. I would definitely like to come back and play the other ones. Drinks were really nice, and the staff were really friendly and super accomodating
It's OK, not amazing, bit expensive for what you get, we paid almost a tenner for 9 short holes. The holes are all part of small set ups and you constantly have people coming in so you feel the need to speed up. The price should be more around 6-7 really, other to that it was decent.
Ok for weekend groups, basically indoor crazy golf with a few licenced bars
Such a fun place to go. Good music through out the courses. The bar has good cocktails that are reasonably priced. Staff is friendly. All 3 courses are decked out with fun decor. Great night out.
Four of us did a course and only spent like 40 minutes there, seemed a bit short. After coming a few times it gets a little boring, especially since it's always quite crowded, so it feels like someone is always behind you. Probably much more fun when drunk!
Somewhat a case of style over substance. Looked good but the course we played (jungle) wasn't actually that fun. With 9 fairly short holes per course it was over pretty quickly. There is a choice of 3 courses, however you pay for each individually so could end up quite pricey.
Great idea and probably great at a busy periods, but when you pay £9.50pp and you only get 8 hole and are in and out with 20 minutes it's abit steep, plus me and my husband where on a course on our own. We had finished the course and I was counting up our score cards and my husband went back to one of the holes to have another go and a member of staff came in to move us on. I can understand if there where people behind us. The cocktails where very nice and they did order us a taxi so overall customer service was good. Just priced abit steep for what you get. I would rather pay a little extra and do all 3 courses.
LOVED IT!!! Booked it on a whim and had the best time! I booked one course online but ended up doing a second course because it was so fun. Cocktails were amazing and all the staff were lovely and so helpful. Definitely recomend it 😊
I enjoyed myself here. I came with some friends and it was a good laugh. At the end of the day it is mini gold, but the settings are cool and it's awesome that you can drink alcohol whilst you play.
It's OK here. I went with 2 friends and we all play golf regularly and we got round the nine holes in less than 20mins. I really think they should have an 18 hole course as 9 holes was over with very quick. Perhaps larger groups of non golfers will get better value for money
Not really my thing, went for a work night out. Found it a bit boring so drank too much and can't really remember what happened after. But it was a cool space. Would come back if music was a highlight and they got rid of the golf
Great fun! Staff were lovely, it just seems a little short for the price.
Great new "experience". Wasn't particularly cheap mind you for a 9 hole course and a drink will set you back £15 so make sure to take your time going round and enjoy it. Worth going back and doing other courses on different visits.
Each course is 9 holes and we powered through 1 course in less than an hour, I recommend booking 2 or 3 courses....especially if you have competitive players, who need a decider!
Little bars around the course so you can keep topped up is genius!
great place! interesting holes, tasty beer and fun atmosphere ^_^
It's good fun, but the course is more gimmicks than good quality crazy golf, its exceptionally busy, and in reality, its ludicrously expensive at about a tenner for 9 holes of crazy golf taking a grand total of ~30 mins. They must make a killing
The staff were so welcoming and informative. They were all wearing PPE equipment and made the experience safe. I had a great date and will definitely be attending again x
Fun, crazy golf activity for groups or couples. Hen parties there at the time of our visit on a Saturday afternoon. Suited to adults, think there is an age limit best to check beforehand as children have been turned away. Cloak room facilities to leave bags and coats, £1 for a coat, £2 for a bag. Bar at start and small bars on the courses. 3 different courses of 9 holes available, took about 1 hour to get round one. No more than 8 shots of golf ball per hole. Dark surroundings with flashing lights and loud music.
Great atmosphere, great course choices
Attended tonight with my partner, really enjoyed our first time here. However, the bar queue was too long and took forever to be served, the 'San miguel' wasn't san miguel tasted cheap, expensive drinks £11 for 2. The golf course was finished within 20 minutes so I think this should be longer. Would of been 5 stars if it wasn't for those things ☺
Decent evening had here before warehouse project as a but of a laugh. Some good test holes and while a but expensive at £9.50 for 9 holes all the kit and holes were good quality and we didn't have to queue. Beer prices are ok. Probably takes around 30 mins for a group of 4 to go around
Visited here about 2 years ago for a christmas bonding event.
We played for about an hour and the course had some really interesting designs from windmills to a graveyard at the end.
There was also a bar and staff seemed really helpful.
Thinking at some point of bringing our children here.
Had a great time, course was really interesting and fun. Drinks were great. Not too busy we could take our time and enjoy ourselves. Staff are really friendly and welcoming.
Great music selection and atmosphere, however pricy drinks and a rather shorter than usual course for 9 holes. Can easily be completed in no time, leaving you wondering if you'd been through a practice run.
Fantastic for transport links and few choices around for places to eat and drink.
Fun place to go with a group or on a date. Great vibes and cocktails. Over 18 only too. Isn't as interesting once you've already done each course, but still a fun activity.
Also featuring fun UV lights 😂
Really great fun, perfect for most occasions. So glad they've a cloakroom.
Great atmosphere! unlimited amounts of fun, even if you've never used a putter before ! Mini bars on-route and no pressure to rush through the course. Will 100% be re-visiting soon.
Good golf courses. Could be 18 not 9 holes for the price. Good bar. Be sure to go at quiet times as they don't consider how many people are on each course at a time or how big a group is on a course so if you're not very careful you could end up getting stuck and waiting around a lot
The golf courses are pretty easy and short, as a pair you go through the 9 holes/course really quickly - so the price (£8) is a bit steep for the amount of time you actually spend there. The music is good but a nudge too loud, makes it difficult to have a chat whilst playing.
Somewhat rickety courses and not enough room to stand when you tee off but that makes it more fun! Cocktails look nice but I didn't get one as they were quite expensive. Really fun night though. You don't actually get the course to yourself when you book, and if you're slow or in a bigger group then the people behind you may overtake you.
Friendly staff Good fun but short lived only took about 20 mins to do the 9 holes. For the price and how quickly it goes maybe should include 2 courses.
This was a lot of fun, my party did Bozo which is the most gothic of the courses. Was happy to score a hole in one on the first hole, which was a promising start, but it took me 8 goes on hole 2. There are some great challenges, and the styling of the place is highly entertaining. Also they have a nice range of fun cocktails, I opted for Rum Bongo, and it didn't disappoint!
This is an excellent little crazy golf course made entirely of pieces of junk. It's qwerky and original with some really good fresh ideas for some of the holes. There are 3 different courses with 9 holes each. Good for something fun to do before some drinks in town.
Great place even at my age so much fun! (I'm in my 50s) took me back to my youth!!, bar and cloak room, over 18s only at certain times, other times children permitted check and book on line, 3 different crazy golf courses to do, loved it just wish it was of been longer!! Great experience.
Great fun! Highly recommended
Always a blast when we go here. Great atmosphere and vibes. And a hell lot of fun for the mini golf. Only downside is because it's city centre parking can be an issue
Little pricey for what it actually is but still good fun
Absolutely amazing customer service. Lee, the manager was incredibly helpful with our party today. Couldn't have been more accommodating!
Had a very mixed experience here. 6 of us visited, most of us parent's managed to get a very rare day off. We had some very rude and arrogant middle aged people in front of us on the course. Who wound up spitting in my sister in law's face. We were about to leave after that only halfway through the course and the management came, apologized and moved us to another course after he had seen on the CCTV what had happened. Staff handled the situation really well so although that woman was a bad experience. It didn't taint the whole experience.
Wonderful experience! Great music, great drinks and just an overall fun time!
Good fun in a group or as a couple! Different courses have different themes, we played on Bozo - clown / fairground themed. Each course has 9 holes. Reasonable prices for drinks and a good laugh
Great time 11 yr olds birthday. Staff were lovely very friendly and helpful. Let us take a cake and light candles great time had by both children and adults. Drinks are expensive.
Great spin on Crazy golf. 27 holes to play, food is pretty good considering the price, nothing fancy more lite bites but does the job. Drinks are priced the same as most places and the golf itself is well organised with set time slots given. Definatley book ahead to avoid missing out though. Only minor complaint is that it was very warm on some courses but that was ab0ut it. Definitely worth the trip especially if you are after something different.
Good bit of fun, but the quickest £30 I have spent for 2. £19 for 9 holes, 2 drinks £9 and £2 for cloakroom. In and out in less than 25 mins. Especially when the competion are charging the same price for 36 holes!
At £9.50 for 9 holes this is expensive. There are 3 courses to choose from, Clown, Jungle or Junkyard. Each set it well designed and adds to the atmosphere but the holes aren't very interesting in real crazy golf terms. Music is good, drinks are quite expensive but the atmosphere of a 20 something crowd is fun when you chat to each other between holes (you'll be waiting to play each hole). Takes between 45mins on a clear run and 2hrs at peak time with four player.
Great fun but crazy busy with aggressive strobe lighting, both making the experience a bit uncomfortable. Have to constantly juggle your pint and golf club because there's 12 people waiting for each hole and not enough surfaces.
Maybe its just the course we picked, but we were through it in 20 mins. Perhaps we were just too good. Nice idea though and would go back in a bigger group. Nice to be able to take your beer around with you and have refreshment bar halfway round.
The disappointing thing about this place it is only 9 holes which we completed in 10 minutes so not great value for money great cocktails
Brilliant and fun place, 3 different courses to try. Have only been on Bozo (Circus themed), and Gary (Junkyard themed), I know people that have been on Pablo (Jungle themed). Out of the courses I have been on, would say that Bozo is the most challenging and fun. Bars half way round each course, so you don't have to keep going back to the lobby for drinks.
The place has a really good atmosphere, however the drink prices are a joke 4.50 for a small can of kopperberg. In general the gold experience was fun. The price of £10 was a too much just for the 9 holes. This was completed in under 30 mins between three of us. It would be much better if the £10 covered all three courses. The ques are also to big to get served ect. There should be a bigger bar area.
