Very impressed. Went in to buy a 3 Wood, the shop assistant (can't recall his name!) Let me try out a varied selection and gave good, honest advice rather than trying to push me towards the most expensive one!

I visited American Golf in Milton Keynes to enquire about potentially purchasing a range finder. With this being a fairly big purchase in golf, I was looking for detailed and accurate information. Which I definitely got! Kyle, the young lad working in the store approached me and was extremely knowledgeable about the product. I ended up opting to buy the Bushnell Tour V5 which wasn’t in stock in store at the time of my visit. However, Kyle was extremely helpful and checked the availability of other stores and was able to order one for me. It arrived at the end of the same week and he put it aside for me. The customer service offered was exceptional and I felt in no way pressured to make the purchase. Well done Kyle and the team!!

Attended the store to have a custom fit. The guys were really professional offering different shafts and club alternatives based on the data collected. Didn't have enough time to go through any driver options so I will definitely go back have this done. All in all the service received was impeccable. A lovely shop with a nice layout. However the clothes selection is very poor. No normal sizes remaining and over priced compared to online. As with all American discount shops I have been too this is the place for clubs but not clothing. Clothing is also displayed poorly, hard to find sizes and looked a bit of a jumble sale. No shop assistant approached me to help.

Every member of staff were excellent today, first class service. The lads helping with custom fitting were knowledgeable, nothing was too much effort. No pressure sales whatsoever. Impressed enough to write this - so defo try them out.

Excellent shop, lots of stock, albeit at the more expensive end. Good range of shoes. The assistant was fairly helpful, but maybe could have been a bit more pro active in pointing out other options, and colours available but not on display. Perhaps not his fault, maybe the shop should have an on-line status of other colours and sizes available.

I attended for a FREE custom fitting and I couldn't be more impressed - the team are all extremely welcoming, friendly and professional! I was booked in with Hollie and we hit some shots and fitted the right clubs for my game. There was NO pressure whatsoever for me to buy the clubs and all the details of my visit were saved on the system, should I decide to buy the clubs in the future. I will definitely be going back to double check and purchase these clubs - and i'm usually one to buy online - couldn't recommend this service highly enough and cannot believe its free!!

I felt impelled to review Dale in the MK branch. Last week I called him as I had lost a £100 golf voucher my elderly father purchased for me in cash and did not have a receipt for as he had left it with the voucher so I understood if AG were unable to honour this. Dale was so much help, luckily I had the day of purchase and Dale checked all the systems and was able to see the purchase on there and honoured the voucher, he called me back ASAP and was a great help when I popped in the store. I have since located the voucher and advised Dale of this but his endeavour to help me was fantastic and unfortunately a rarity in retail. Thanks Dale, I will definitely be returning to AG

They introduce you to new equipment that might benefit your game without pushing for a sale. Good choice of clubs and equipment, they don't seem to cover the clothing very well. We play early in the morning and I had to de-ice the car on the way to golf. When I went in to buy some warmer clothes and a good quality wind proof jacket I find out they have more shorts than jackets! No mirror near the clothing either. Come on American golf, you can do better, I ended up spending nearly £600 elsewhere if you don't want my money. Looks like I will have to buy the garmin z80 elsewhere at £560 also as you aren't stocking it, still I will come back to you to spend my £30 on golf balls! Retailers wake up. I would rather buy from a shop not online. But I have no choice
