Always friendly and helpful. And these guys don't pressure you to buy something. Unlike other golf stores I've been in. But if you are interested in something they go out their way to give you the best advice which is beneficial to you.

Fabulous - They did not have the size I wanted in stock, it was ordered and received within 48 hrs. The staff could not have been more helpful - they found me a a different jacket from the same manufacturer to try on so that they could ensure that the correct size was ordered for me.

Good place to shop for most of your golfing needs, including clubs, clothing, trolleys, balls and training aids. And they also have a fitting service with a swing analyser. There's half a dozen parking spaces directly outside, however it's a bit tight as it's directly off the main road and can only be accessed when heading north. Overall, a decent shop, although their second hand range is more limited in recent years.

At first , the store was out of stock , but the assistant took the bother to contact other branches , and finally found one in Bristol, which was then shipped up to Newcastle ...These days , a lot of assistants wouldn't have bothered in this way ...first class service !!!

Spent an excellent couple of hours on the instore shot analyser choosing a new set of clubs. I was looked after by a very enthusiastic and patient sales assistant called Chris and I have to say he couldn't possibly have been more keen to ensure that I ended up with the "right" clubs for me. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend American Golf or Chris....time well spent.
