Would like to see course marshals to move groups on as it took nearly 5hrs to play as a two ball behind an uneducated 4 ball.

K. H.Fantastic facilities, thoughtful staff and an almost overwhelming experience. The attention to detail, and willingness to please, was palpable. Your own name on one of the lockers, a complimentary bag tag from the 2010 course, and an ambience second to none!

I'm still giving 5 stars as I believe it will be rectified. The course only opened 10 days ago, post lockdown.
o.One of the best clubhouses you'll go to. Loads of Ryder Cup everywhere you look and really gives you the feel you're following in the steps of some greats.
The only place on the Celtic Manor that you can get any Twenty Ten swag. Prices are about what you'd expect.

Attended a wedding reception here, the food is exceptional, and the service well organised.
Logistics,,driving in was a breeze, we followed someone who knew where they were going, however, coming out, after dark, talk about going around in circles, make your way through all the twists and turns to the entrance, oh, this is now fenced off for the night, any signage to show you were to go, not on your nelly, round and round we went, at one point heading down a golf buggy only track.
You will find your way out eventually, but take sandwiches, a flask, and a warm blanket for the trip.
G. W.1st post covid meal and it didn't disappoint. The al fresco dining from the Rafters balcony is outstanding. Great views, great food and great service. Highly recommended!

like a lot of things at the Celtic manor.
the driving range at the main course doesn't open until 10 am.
so if you want to get some pravtice in before you go out you can't.
the range is open late though to capitalize on all those up there for a nigjt of playing on the shot tracer range.

G. G.Loved playing the courses despite the awful weather. However, playing the 2010 the day after the European tour event was disappointing as there was no signage directions from green to next tee. When pointing this out we were promptly told that we were 7 mins behind time. Very churlish! Made to feel like we should be grateful to be playing there. The prices in the clubhouse were extortionate.. 8.40 for 2 teas! They explained that as part of government scheme I would only pay half. So ripping off the government! 12.00 for pt of beer and pt of shandy..

As you might expect food and drink a little on the expensive side. Poor mobile signal makes ordering via qcode and app virtually impossible. Staff eventually had to serve us face to face (like in the good old days!)
A. M.A really great experience and fantastic setup. The club house and locker rooms are a must see! The course is in great condition, but don't expect to do well on this course, as it's still laid out for the pros and it's very difficult! It will pull your pants down and send you packing.
We still had a great visit though and the staff are friendly and they look after you and your clubs throughout the whole stay. The free shuttle around the resort, 24 hours a day, is also an excellent service!

A bit disappointed really, waited 10 minutes to be seated, afternoon tea was ok, but not really big enough for 2 people but lacked taste.not a great atmosphere and the restraunt was cold.

J. B.Well needed pit stop after a round of the 2010 course. Make sure you use a buggy to eventually get here. Unfortunately like a lot of courses at present, there is no soul as it's play golf, quick drink, leave.

V.Took my Son for a game on the 2010 course for his birthday and from the moment we arrived at the front of the club house up until we left every member of the staff couldn't do enough for us, we were certainly well looked after by every member of the staff I'd give each one of the staff 20 out of 10 my son thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and is really looking forward to playing there again in the New year so a very massive big THANK YOU TO EVERYONE at Celtic manor. Wishing you a merry Christmas and a happy New year 🙂
S. M.the most professional course I have ever played. from the meet at the front where they take your clubs, free tees and a nice metal bag tag with your name on it. your clubs are cleaned at the end of the round as well.
