Just had a iron fitting setting with Matthew @ Golfers Choice & opted for the extended fitting session which lasted 90 minutes. I attended the fitting intent on using Ping G425 irons & had a great 30 minute fitting session with the Ping clubs & was happy to purchase, however having observed my swing Matthew suggested I try an alternative club to see if these better suited me as in his opinion I would benefit from a Taylor Made option. Reluctantly I tried the Taylor Made Sims 2 irons & sure enough I was hitting the ball straighter, further & more consistently. In the past I've never considered custom fit clubs but really pleased I had the fitting session today. Throughout the session I was offered tips & advice on my swing & Matthew was extremely helpful throughout the whole visit. I would recommend Golfers Choice to everyone, the shop is well stocked, the staff are extremely knowledgeable & very helpful. Really pleased I took the leap of faith & can't wait to get the new clubs in a few weeks. Paul Simmons Highfields Property Services

I had a fitting on 15th October for a new Driver, at the end of the session after trying different ones Mathew recommend a Ping G425 which he ordered for me and I collected from them three weeks later. Unfortunately because there was so much going on during the session I forgot to get my print out of my readings, I have since contacted Golfers Choice and requested it on two separate occasions and was told the they will send it to me, as of today 17th November I am still waiting. Although I am pleased with all aspects of my experience with them I am very disappointed that they have not dealt with my simple requests for something so simple that would be good for me for future reference. So come on Golfers Choice , let’s get it sorted out. Had a call Wednesday afternoon from James at golfers Choice and it turned out that it was a glitch in the system (can happen to the best of us sometimes), I was invited back for a complimentary data session which I had today. Would just like to say a big thanks to you, it’s not often that you get that kind of swift rectification. Golfers Choice will be my only choice in the future, not just for the swift rectification but for such a well stocked shop, I’ll be back in the new year. Get yourself down there you’ll be like a kid in a sweet shop. Thanks again Golfers Choice (the only Choice) *****.

Hidden away little golfers paradise. Didn't know this place existed but put in a search for nearby golf shops and this came up ... Knocked a star off for difficulty noticing the store and lack of parking locations, but once inside, it seemed to have a great selection of golf stuff at a reasonable price. Service was good too. What a fantastic experience! Matt and the team did a great job of getting me fitted correctly after I had a very poor experience from American golf a week prior. I ended up ordering my new set of titleist T100 irons with Golfers Choice and had my gapping service carried out when the new clubs arrived as a part of their service too. Went over and above expectations and will be back again. This is in another league to American Golf.

Great Service as always from Golfers Choice. I went for an iron fitting to discover that I’d left my swing at home. Mathew was as patient as ever and after a few gentle tips we were able to get consistent enough results to find the best irons and shafts for me. He then price matched the set and took off the cost of the fitting service. So a custom fit set of Mizuno MP20 HMBs for less than the cost of the big stores. Also I can rely on his full after sales support as enjoyed for the last 10 years when he has always offered the very best in customer service. There’s a reason his customers travel long distances to work with him. Service Service Service - extensive range of products and great prices. Highly recommended

I couldn't have asked for a better service from a golf professional. I'd already purchased a grip for my favourite putter before approaching Matthew and not only was he willing to fit it for me, he did it whilst I waited in the shop. I went along to Golfers choice to have a Driver Fitting, On arrival i was made to feel welcome by all. Once on the simulator and the nerves had gone i had a fantastic experience and the advice offered by Matthew was second to none..After a few strikes with my old driver Matthew set me up with a new one and the results were an instant improvement.I also got fitted for a fairway wood over a rescue club which was also down to Matthew. I can highly recommend Golfers choice and will not hesitate to use them again.

I visited Matt at Golfers Choice today for a full bag fitting session for only £50! It was fascinating and informative 2 hours especially on my driver which I knew wasn’t working for me anymore, I now have a proven reason to get a new driver from today’s session, No more guessing or a hunch during a short session on the range, but now technically and statistically fitted in the same way the PGA professionals have their clubs fitted. A professional and highly recommended service to any golfer 🏌️‍♀️

I will not let anyone else fit me for golf clubs. Twice I have been to see Matt for specific fittings and twice he has been patient when my stats aren’t conducive to a good fitting. My successful iron fittings (Mizunos) and woods (Pings) are top notch and love them. What a well stocked store with only the best kit and the key thing - an expert tradesman who will advise you honestly. Many thanks again Matt and I’ll back soon for that wedge fitting.

Visited golfers choice to purchase an old club (in order to have a training grip fitted) All sorted within 10 minutes, new club, grip fitted and was then pleasantly advised no charges as the club was surplus demo stock. What an amazing retail experience. As a result I then had some spare cash and shopped around Buying a new golf top as a treat ! Five star customer service rating well deserved.

I’ve had a couple of fitting sessions here and it’s a million miles better than what you get at American golf and alike. Been fitted for driver, woods 3 iron and hybrids this year, it was a great experience on all occasions. Lots of feedback given on what clubs suited my swing and customising the set up and shafts made a huge difference. Great variety in stock, and competitively priced. Only place I’ll go for golf kit now.

He politely identified that my current driver, whilst a brilliant club, did not suit my swing profile, which the in store demonstrator backed up. I got a better overall deal than a national golf chain were currently advertising, so I left with a golf club that is better suited to me. I recently attended a fitting with Matthew Bearman to try and find me a set of irons to help my game. The whole experience was fantastic assessing your current clubs, then your swing to establish what was needed and then looking at various options. Absolutely no pressure sell just pure good advice and top quality equipment to get the right solution. I have now played three rounds of golf with my new custom built clubs, all below my handicap and a personal best of 80 gross. My dream of cracking 80 might become a reality. Great experience both with Matt and the fitting today, Matt fit me and my brother out of my 20 year old irons and my brother’s AG fit M4s. Moved both of us into irons which suited our preferences, going over all of the raw data at length to find what worked for each of us, couldn’t rate the experience any higher. Superb fitting with Matthew today, correcting an expensive and performance hindering fitting by American Golf.. Very patient, knowledgeable and friendly chap.. The best golf shop I've ever been to, certainly the shop to visit for Northampton and it's surrounding area. I had the privilege of an honest and really helpful service from start to finish during a club fitting appointment with Matthew, I would also like to add that Matthew and I rearranged my appointment after a bad first session due to myself having an issue with a recurring lower back injury, he didn't charge me for the that session even though I took up around 45 minutes of his time. A good example of his honest approach to service within the shop! After a slightly better second session, we got results from the new Nike Vapor Speed irons which I am now saving for, also I have added a few other items to my shopping list from the advice given by Matt and booked in for a session with Simon for some swing mechanic tip's to help me with my lower back trouble. I cannot recommend this shop enough!

Fantastic experience with Matthew. Went in to get some new irons after 15 years of the same ones. Walked out with some cobra irons, ping woods and vokey wedges. All fitted to perfection. Matthew really knows his stuff, latest equipment - simulator was fantastic and latest golf kit. Spoilt for choice!!
