My husband and I had the wedding of our dreams at the Northampton Golf Club thanks to Claire Fletcher and Alison Barwell. The whole experience right from showing us the venue, to supporting our constantly evolving plans and connecting us to lovely wedding vendors was efficiently (and patiently) handled by Claire. Alison's catering menu and suggestions were spot on, as we desired to host an Indo - Brit wedding. Thankfully the weather was gorgeous on 5th May 22 and the golf course made a stunning background for photographs on our special day. Our guests were delighted with the scenic view, subtle indoor wedding decor and of course the presentation of the 3 course meal. Thank you, our experience was truly class apart :) - Kim & JD

Stunning Golf Course with well kept greens. Friendly well stocked halfway house with toilets. Clubhouse has a panoramic balcony and windows looking over the course and the lake, serving a good selection of food and drinks at reasonable prices. Well stocked Pro-Shop, knowledgeable staff. Amazing space to hold events and weddings with flexible packages.

I invited 6 of my village friends to have the Wednesday evening dinner at our club tonight ....and they were super impressed with the quality of the food and such good value for money! The service too,was excellent and they have all asked to definitely come back again!

It's a lovely little venue and staff were lovely but nobody had a clue behind the bar and the wait to be served was far too long. Was shocked to discover what they charged for a buffet too.... definitely overpriced

We live in the village and they recently have opened up to allow walkers/passers by for lunch/drink etc. Wife and I decided to take dog and have a spot of lunch and it was brilliant. Food was great, excellent value for money, excellent service by our waitress and amazing views. Will be sure to make this a weekly occurance to break up our day! Great job!

Stunning golf course. Plenty of challenging holes, long par 5s, the last 4 holes around the lake were a particular highlight. Well protected greens, which rolled well. Fairways were in top condition. Such a picturesque place and a cracking little halfway house. Must of played 10-12 different courses across Leicestershire and Nottingham the last 2 months and this is one of the best I've played. Tried here due to it being a reciprocal course so a reduced green fee. Would happily pay a full green fee to play again. Superb

Hhmmm ... Lots to like here, but ... I visited on a Sunday afternoon in May, 2021 - just as COVID restrictions were being eased, but had not yet bedded in. I am not a member of the golf club, but the golf club have placed a sign on the walk that I do regularly, saying that they were open to members of the public, for coffees, etc.. The venue/site/location are lovely - it is a very nice place to sit and watch the (golfing) world go by. They are clearly well set up for their members. I will be generous and say that the opening to members of the public still needs some bedding in. If we visit here again, I will re-review, and hope to find things more well ordered.

Played as a member's guest Saturday morning. Course in great shape despite the drought, greens excellent, fast and true. Some great holes, nice clubhouse and bar, highly recommended, not quite sure how easy it is to get a tee time as a visitor without a member but has to be one of the best courses in Northants

I paid my first visit to the Northampton Golf club on Monday 9th December 2019 to dine with a group of friends from Northampton U3A. The Welcome and friendliness was first class, the selection of drinks was very good, and the food was top quality. Thank you to all the staff for an excellent time.

Greens excellent, fairways excellent, rough a little bit on the long side, easy to take full allowance to find your ball, even "vivid" coloured balls difficult to find. Full English Breakfast, one of the best I've had in a long while.
