Had a society day here. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the members could not have been more welcoming. It's a reasonably easy walk with some interesting holes. You would never know you were so close to the centre of Oxford. The course was in very good condition and the greens were true. A good test of golf.

Lovely old course. Beautiful mature trees make some holes pretty tight. It's a short course with only one par five - but it doesn't feel like it because there are plenty of long part 3's and 4's. My only criticism was the greens which were pretty slow on a dry sunny day and sometimes unpredictable. It will be such a shame if this course is given over to housing as looks likely I believe...

We were invited to join a member of the club for a round. We found it an enjoyable track with quick, true greens. The are a mix of hole shapes; dogleg left and right, long(ish) or short. Not too long a course, so you can pick your way with irons, or pull the big stick if you're brave enough.

We were fortunate - it was a lovely day. Arrived on time. Course was not particularly busy. Enjoyed our round and had a very pleasant beer sitting outside the clubhouse - in the sun. All was good - apart from my golf !

I organise a three day golf event every year and we’ve been coming to North Oxford for several years now on a Wednesday. I have a great relationship with Sue in the office who is always very caring and very professional in all that she does.The golf course is always in very good condition and today was no exception it was superb.The bar staff and the kitchen staff were very friendly and nothing was a problem. I would highly recommend North Oxford as a golf venue. Kind regards Paul Findlay.

Spent many a happy time in my childhood on this course. Narrow fairways, tricky approach shots; it was a great introduction to golf. An absolute outrage that they are talking about closing it, building new homes on it and effectively moving the course down the road. Will be a complete travesty!

Friendly golf club with a great golf course. So accessible even without a car, bus stop right outside and members can store clubs here. You don't have to be a member to use the club house, nice bar for food and drinks. Lee the professional is an excellent teacher. Nice place to join.

Great golf club friendly members, accommodating club house, and even an excellent Pilates room! The golf course is tight and requires you to be accurate of the tee but the fairways and green are kept immaculate throughout the year. Oxford's must play golf course!

Myself and three friends have played the Seniors Open at North Oxford G C for the past five years, the course has always been in super condition, is a great test of golf, very tricky in places and well worth a visit. The hospitality shown too us by its members, committee, bar and catering staff, is second to none a great day out and a warm welcome awaits you. Barry Petricca

I really like this course. It's a bit short--more par threes than average and only one par 5--but it's very pretty and very well kept. I was expecting less for the price and was pleasantly surprised.

A wonderfully welcoming golf club. Some of the most difficult holes in Oxfordshire in one of the most beautiful courses in Oxfordshire. Fantastic meals in the clubhouse too.
