I was given vouchers to use at American golf .so I was having a look around .sorry to say this I can't rember your name .you were so helpful and honest . I was interested in purchasing a new driver .After you letting try a few drivers . In your opinion I did not need to change driver drivers that I tried didn't In prove my distance . Love this place. Went there with member of the family to try my golf skills. It is a driving range with TV screens and sensors that give you instant picture of your golfing swings and length. Very popular with locals of Plymouth area.

Great place for practicing your swing and fairly priced at 12 pound for 150 balls about an hours session. All computerised. Needs more left handed tees in bays

Good facilities. Since they changed their charging from balls to time I don’t visit anymore. As a golfer I enjoy practicing but paying for 30 mins for example doesn’t give enough time to hit many balls. Should go back to paying for balls. The range balls are also beyond playable. Badly need new range balls. Staff are friendly however

Love this place, trackman is great to help with learning your yardages for clubs and also the interactive courses you can play and games are great. The staff are helpful, polite and always happy to answer questions. Got custom fitted here and had a handover of new clubs, the staff were amazing and helpful and the handover was great. My bag will be updated here through this season.

Great golf ⛳️ centre, great for sharpening your golf skill on the individual practice tees each with its own Trackman. Play footgolf ⚽️ with the 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 finish off with a lovely coffee ☕️ or soft drink in the café area while browsing the wide selection of golf equipment and leisure wear at a very reasonable price. The centre staff are friendly and will to assist on any area. Fancy trying golf with a professional for yourself or child don't hesitate one of the amazing coaches Sam is always around and is brilliant and has so much patience with the juniors, the cost won't break the bank. I called this shop after I had been into Exeter and been subjected to the worst shopping experience of my life, I explained how my partner had been laughed out of the shop because of how he talks ( from Liverpool) They made me an appointment and it was a very different experience. The staff are brilliant, they know the items they are selling, they are golfers The shop was busy but they had enough staff to deal with everyone, we did have to return the clubs and they went out of their way to help us find a new set. I would recommend this golf shop above all others Thank you for an excellent shopping experience

Had a bit of a golf failure today as when I struck the ball my driver disintegrated! Took the damaged item back to American Golf and explained that I had purchased it some 3 months before! They exchanged the head of the club immediately, no hassle, no quibble, no fuss. Excellent customer service from a great team. Many thanks 👍🏼

A small ish store with a driving range and all quiet well set out with a steady range of products. The low review is not a reflection of staff as the single staff member was polite friendly and clearly doing his best to keep up with the large amount of customers that needed assistance. Sadly the single staff member did not get a chance to help us in our 20 mins of waiting. The driving range offers fitting and lessons of which are top class, mostly down to the instruction provided by professional golfers. A good price for the balls means you can really improve you technique without worrying about the cost.

I am not one to leave reviews however I would like to share my fantastic experience at American golf Plymouth. Being relatively new to golf I booked a starter session and fitting with a guy Called Philios at AG Elburton. Philios spent a lot of time helping me find clubs that best worked for me, using some high tech shot tracking kit and making lots of fine adjustments we finally found a brand and setup that worked for me. They then worked out what clubs and kit I would require and built a quote for all that I needed. At this point I wanted some time to consider my options and there was no hard sell in fact they sent me on my way and invited me back a week later. I returned to the store the following week where I was once again greeted pleasantly. Philios took me into the booth once again and allowed me to try the clubs in my setup once more, again they felt the very best fit for me. We ordered the clubs to my custom requirements and they turned up 2 weeks later. I was offered lots more advice and even a free round of golf at a top local course. In this day and age where everyone shops online I still couldn’t find the clubs I chose much cheaper online and with the service I received in store there was no doubt as to where I would purchase my clubs. The entire experience was a pleasure and I would recommend anyone getting into golf to pop in and and see the guys at American golf Plymouth.

A very well set up driving range. Nice Pro-shop, and the prices for 30mins/ 1 hourly unlimited balls are very reasonable. The tracking software on every cubicle is great fun for friendly competition and also for game improvement. The Costa Coffee will be a great addition when it opens on Monday 9th January.
