Boringdon is a great venue and situated in a fabulous location with views out over Plymouth and the sound. I've been to Boringdon hundreds of times for business events, quiz nights, black tie dinners and weddings. The staff are really friendly, Nick & Jon are really helpful. Started attending other events at boringdon and they have been really well organised from Proms to networking events and charity dinners

Whether I go to Boringdon Golf Club to work, or for an event, I'm always greeted with a multitude of smiles and warm wishes. I have attended weddings, business meetings, conferences, business shows, networking events, quiz nights, party nights and so much more here and it's still my all time favourite venue in Plymouth. I highly recommend this venue for anyone looking to hold a conference, event or business meeting. As an added bonus the food is EXCEPTIONAL and the staff an absolute dream. I'm not a golf player but have heard that the course is one of the best around. Nick, Jon, Amanda, Adeana, Scott and the rest of the team you're all brilliant!!!

We were here for family wedding. The area for the ceremony was nicely decorated and not over the top. The reception area was laid out well and as it was an afternoon wedding there was a cream tea after the ceremony. There was plenty of food which was generally very good and nicely presented however the sandwiches must have been prepared much earlier in the day and were curling up and dry at the edges. There was a problem with the microphone which initially was echoing so badly that the speeches couldn't be understood when this was sorted the microphone kept cutting out so not good! The evening BBQ was very good. The location is excellent with plenty of parking and wonderful views over Plymouth sound.

We attended a reception here for a funeral. The food was absolutely delicious though a cutlery option for the cakes would have been nice and nothing was gluten free ( this may have been available if asked, I don't know). There was only one toilet on the floor we were on which was surprising and the venue was cosy if rather impersonal. It was warm enough despite the drizzle outside. I couldn't tell you about the golf as I have no interest in that but the golf bar had the feel of a Wetherspoons without the character features. It was a weekday so very quiet. Staff seemed a little harassed but were pleasant. The food was plentiful and delicious and I did feel we could have asked for things if needed. Overall I was impressed with the atmosphere for the occasion.

Driving range looks a bit tired but overall a nice place. £6 for 100 balls which I thought was a good price. Not sure if you can hire clubs, bring your own driver/set just incase. Self service and card only for what I could see, golf lessons were a great price too, £24-£28 a month for 2, 30 minute sessions which is a great price.

Thoroughly recommend getting married at Boringdon Park Golf Club. Amanda and team were so friendly, helpful and professional and went over and above to help make the day run smoothly and the venue more beautiful than we ever imagined. Nothing was too much trouble. All our guests have commented on how amazing the food was including for our vegan guests and how efficiently served too. The setting is beautiful and looks stunning in our photos. Amanda personally helped us decorate the venue working long into the night with us, with good humour and a lot of patience (Jon Amanda deserves a pay rise for putting up with me!). I wish we could do it all over again as it truly was the best day of my life and my husband Steve and I cannot thank you enough for making it so magical.

As it was fathers day .I was treated to Sunday lunch .staff very friendly. Dress code .is there one . One excessively wobbly table . Table 19 . This must have been are first moan about food he since it's been open . Not much taste to that was served. Beef my son and wife commented. How chewy. Did not eat .vegetables bland .lost of flavour . No the best as it always been .

The sun was out and the greens were running very well. It's a very user- friendly course with lots of space if you are not having such a good day off the tee but there are a few tight holes as well. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience.

Nice enough range, open till later in the evenings during summer, balls slightly cheaper than other local sites. My two gripes would be: There's no access to a range loyalty card without a membership for those not interested in playing the full course; The orientation of the range and the car-park is such that it makes me a touch uneasy about the consequences of a miss-hit, there's no netting between the two and not much distance either. I think this could be a valuable addition, especially if looking to encourage more new players to come who may be less confident in their consistency

This is an amazing golf club, with lovely Sunday roasts every week, which are the best standard and taste amazing! The staff are so polite, with amazing service, and there is a wheelchair lift into the main restaurant. There is a disabled toilet downstairs, with all the other toilets. There is a shop and bar in the main entrance area, where people can also get all their golf clubs! The restaurant also has the best views of Plymouth, which is why it is a good idea to come when it's the summer and the views are more beautiful! Overall, this restaurant is great, with a free car park and loads of grass space to play a good game of golf! ⛳️

Went to a Wedding Blessing, families, kids,Teens, elderly. Very happy to find adequate parking, level access, spacious room, well stocked bar. The barn dance band were great, good fun evening, and everyone included. The food was hot, served as a buffet, veggies, and. plentify . Loos on floor below but disabled adjacent to our space. Really good experience! :-)

As a non golfer, I have been to several functions/events and had many meals in the restaurant. I particularly enjoy the Thursday Steak Night and the Sunday Carvery, the food is both delicious and good value for money. The restaurant is modern, clean and offers a wide selection of products, with a good atmosphere created by the friendly staff. From the reception staff to the restaurant staff everyone who I met made me and my family feel very welcome. Definitely worth a visit, even if you don't play golf!

Quite nice actually, I've visited a few times for fund raisers act. The staff were excellent, the food was nice, it was warm and in a great location. I don't play golf so I wont give it 5/5 as I think you got to know the green for that but on the merits of what I have seen it was still very good.

Golf course is decent enough. The 9 hole is a bit dull. The main reason for my review is the terrible, unfriendly service that I get there nearly every time I (sporadically) go. The young man is especially rude. He does not listen to questions, he answers very rudely without already understanding the question and has an air about him that is distasteful. I will use other golf courses going forward.

Now that the course is maturing and 4 holes yellow tees have been moved slightly forward have improved the course especially for the average handicapper. Which makes a very enjoyable experience with a chance of a reasonable score. Also the food was excellent.

Xmas do. It was ok. Food disappointing. No wow factor. Roast potatoes rock hard exterior unable to cut into. Same magician as last year ..same tricks. Disco bit good. Staff friendly and efficient. Their exterior lighting is poor around building and car park.

I only visited the range but used to be a member here the club is fantastic and the drainage is the best in Plymouth. You can play all year round with greens always in play and most tee boxes are in play with the occasional box for the winter where irons are normally used. The club has the advantage of 2 courses as well.

Not being a golfer I can only comment on the social side. Attended a New Years Eve black tie event which was excellent, food was delicious, disco was great and a good time was had by all. Boringdon hold a number of different social events over the year such as tribute nights,murder mystery nights, comedy nights plus other event's. They also do Sunday roast and parking is free.

Been visiting Boringdon for a few months now and love everything about the place. As a non golfer myself I havent expreienced much of the course but fellow friends and colleagues rave about how good the course is and how the views are breathtaking. The food is outstanding from the carvery on a Sunday which has a wide choice of meats, veg, starters and deserts (sticky toffee pudding my personal favourite) to the lunches from the menu on weekdays, i have never had an issue. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming which makes the visit a lot more enjoyable and are very willing to help costumers. Overall Boringdon Park has everything you would want from amazing views, fantastic range of food, very friendly and helpful staff and a golf course that is kept in mint condition all year round.

Boringdon Park was an absolute dream to play and the views were stunning but most of all the course is a true test of anyone golf game. Considering all the rain we have had recently the course was in great condition. All of the green's and tee's where in play. The putting surfaces where true and lighting fast. This is definitely the best course in the area I have ever played and well worth the money. Our society has already booked up again for the summer. The Clubhouse facilities, food and staff are absolutely brilliant and well worth a 2nd visit or 3rd or more.

Very nice event room upstairs. However, the signage to the actual golf club is very poor. The entrance to the club has a sign which states 'Boringdon Park'... which sounds more like a housing development. The facilities are listed underneath in smaller lettering, which is not helpful when looking for the golf club. Cannot comment on the facilities or staff as I only attended a charity Christmas fair.

Cute golf club! Came for the driving range as the other driving range in Plymouth wouldn't let you use something higher than irons. The course looked beautiful and well kept at very good prices! The driving range was amazing with a good range of tees available there. The only problem was my boyfriend had to borrow some clubs as it was his first time playing. They said they can give him some but the ones given were to short even for me and he is a foot taller than me! And I did make it clear they were for him. Will definitely use this place again!

The professor was sadly there for a wake, but this did not detract from the stunning location with views all the way to Plymouth Sound. Delicious cream tea and cakes was the order of the day, with the eternal debate as to whether the jam or cream should go first onto the scone (scon?). The Restaurant badly let itself down so far as the mains choice of roast beef was concerned. The very look of the cut indicated that it was a cheap joint as it was unbelievably tough and with dreadfully blunt table knives the meal, such as it was, was a massive disappointment. The concluding mince pies would better be described as minceless pies such was the dismal content within. A very stupid and unwise economy to make.

Nice venue for parties. Prices at bar not too bad either. Disabled parking needs repaint as only possible to see once you walk across by it. Various function rooms of different sizes and configurations but not labelled in any way to get to. Saw people entering from 3 different entrances to one room because of this. Overall pretty good place (and i was attending a wedding reception)
