A very Long 9 hole course with nice fairways lined with well kept hedges and woodlands.
We were fortunate enough to have a Hare follow us around the 4th and 5th holes before being spooked off by a clutch of chickens that freely roam the entirety of the course.
The water hazards are well placed but not too difficult.
All in all a great course for experienced and beginners alike.
Greens are the only thing that let this course down - The grass is patchy and the surface uneven (Probably due to chickens scratching it!!!)
Great afternoon, we will be coming back!

This is a great little golf course, fairways lined with trees plus brooks, ponds with wildlife, beware of dangerous fowl on the fairways called hens, they may lay you an egg ! What other course has hens. The start hut has an honesty box and a small range of drinks, toilets are small cubicle type and spotless (hope players keep them that way). Ideal course for beginners , no need to get embarassed. Don't expect Augusta greens but they are puttable, and don't expect Trump prices, £8 for 9 holes £12 for 18, run by hard working and helpful people, I really rate it 5 Stars but give it 4+ to satisfy those who expect better greens and more yardage markers.
Worth a visit.

Great corse quite challenging for beginners like myself but when playing the other day myself and two colleagues were accused of trying to play 3 rounds and only paying for two. Yes we had taken a long time on our first nine but I'm a beginner there was no one behind we were holding up and we lost a lot of balls that we kept trying to find. When we said we were only on our second time round I found the ladie to be a bit rude and insulting. But the corse is good and well kept

Lovely little 9 hole course. Very informal, ideal for beginners. Quiet during the week, no need to book.

For £13 for 18 holes you can't really complain a bit rough round the edges and greens need some tlc

Lots of horseflies to contend with so recommend jungle formula. The small wood copses around the greens could do with strumming.
