Went for a fitting with Kevin on Friday and was amazing. Paid for a fitting somewhere else and was a lot better with Kevin. He was really keen on getting the right equipment that matched you. He really took the time to explain the process and has really built me trust in the brand. Well done, I will be back as a lot more decisions as I get back into golf after a long time away.

Pretty good. I went in looking for some golf shoes but the ones I liked they didn't have them in stock, they even phoned there Chandlers Ford branch. I chose another pair from their wide range of stock. Staff were very helpful.

Sadly not my best experience of customer service today. I could have been harsh and given them 1 Star - but the shop is clean, well laid out and most importantly COVID 19 compliant. Thus for that it gets 3 Stars. But... I wanted to buy a pair of black leather golf shoes. Not imitation leather, just good old fashioned leather. I was dealt with attentively at first then the salesperson just faded away and dealt with someone else, then another and another... To put it mildly I was stunned, I had just experienced perfect customer service earlier on the day from a shop in Southampton and both salespersons here at American Golf seemed intent on ignoring me. I left - they didn’t get a sale. We’ve all been told it takes a lifetime to build a reputation and seconds to destroy it. It’s unlikely the current sales team have been told that business homily. They will never get my money for any golfing equipment from me whatsoever. All I look for is a smile, professionalism and positive engagement. If I was the senior manager reading this I might think that a bit of supportive training might help...

Kevin the assistant in store has given my father in law advice in the past which has been fantastic. He has a excellent way of understanding what the customer wants and most importantly insures that you get what is best for you and your game. He doesn't try to hard sell you to a more expensive product that isn't as good for your game.

As always, I got exactly what I expected ....... Great service, Superb advice and the product I required that suited my needs. My experience of using American Golf was again top notch. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and are prepared to spend time with me as a customer to listen to my requirements so that I leave the store with the right product and feeling totally happy with my purchase. I never feel rushed to make a decision or pressured into spending more money than I budget for. As I am now looking to push on with my game and looking to progress to the next level I am upgrading a lot of my equipment and I know I don't need to look anywhere else as I have everything here under one roof .......Thanks Guys !

I popped in the buy some waterproofs and there was just the one member of staff behind the counter. I asked if he could help me find what I needed and he went straight to work. Got everything down really happy about it constantly giving me positive advice whilst making sure everything fitted correctly, even though he convinced me to purchase some wet weather gloves which I may add are brilliant 😬 top bloke thanks very much!

I am an absolute beginner that has been invited on a few golf trips this year and needed to get some clubs. The staff were very knowledgeable and offered good balanced advice, not just trying to sell me a brand new set for loads of money. I was encouraged to try a few different clubs in their practice bays and was given a few tips to get a better swing. I left with what I consider to be a good set of second hand clubs that were close enough to my size to be able to have a game with no worries. They chucked a free glove in as well which i thought was a great touch. I would highly recommend hedge end American golf for anyone interested in golf at any level of experience.

I was buying a starter set for my 11 year old son and we were out looking on a Sunday. Now if I were working on a Sunday I would probably be less than happy but the staff were so helpful and enthusiastic we were not going to buy any where else. The colour coded height chart used for kids starting out made it so simple to choose the set required. All in all a great shopping experience. Thank you American Golf Hedge End.

Very good service and advice - I was keen to match the 5 wood which I bought before Christmas, so getting the right shaft on a new 3 wood was crucial. The result is a good match and definitely a bit more distance and even a lot straighter - an ideal combination !

When I was trying the club out in the practice bay Kevin, the guy that was serving me was very patient and also helped me out with a few pointers about my swing which, when i took them out on the golf course, worked a treat. Very pleased.

Went in for some simple advice about 5 woods vs Hybrids, ended up buying a TaylorMade 3 Hybrid. Why because I actually felt that for the first time ever I received real actionable advice that was right for me and not the sales figures. We started by going over the options, we then went into a practice room just hitting at the net, then finally we through and used the full analysis room and measured swing speed and accuracy to assess what setting i.e. club head angle, shaft stiffness etc was right for me. The purchase was a no brainer, just saving now for a new driver and I will be back!
