has a retro look and only take cash (owner said they are looking to get a card machine due to covid and all that). kids had a fabulous time ... people running this place are very polite and helpful! When we went it was possibly the hottest day ... but there were places where you could sit in the shed.

Amazingly priced for small rides, yes its small but the family run business make the best of the few rides and what feels like longer than normal ride times (for younger kids only)

Ahh what can I say? We had a lovely time here at the children's pleasure park! The two guys were friendly and helpful, great with the kids! £10 for 16 tokens, the slides are 1 token for 4 rides, the kids loved it! Even my 13 year old niece had fun! Yes it's old fashioned but that's the charm! It's a calm, quaint, relaxed children's park! If you're wanting fast paced thrill rides do not come here. I would recommend this place to anyone with a younger family or the oldies that are young at heart!! They sell ice-cream, cold and hot drinks, there is even a ladies talking bench! They're coming up to their 50th year soon, let's keep this place going!

It's so cool, feels like you're stepping back in time! Was quite busy when we were there and only 2 staff working so was sort of hanging around a while for the rides too start and there was no water for a hot drink which was a bit pants! Other then that its a lovely little park.

We absolutely love the Pleasure Park and have been coming here since we were little 30 years ago and it's still pretty much the same. I wish the boating lake was still there but it's still an awesome morning/afternoon out for little ones! Would highly recommend! Make sure you bring some change for tokens 🙂

Such an amazing place. 75p for a ride and 4 goes on a helter skelter for 75p too. Ok it is very run down and if I was a local I would go on Facebook and ask for help with renovation but the area is such a wonderful find. The staff were lovely and chatty. Good luck to you all, I hope you keep the pleasure park going, you made my kids day 😀

This was the 2nd time we've been to the Children's Pleasure Park and we love it! It's so lovely to see children enjoying all the retro rides. It's also super good value for money. We paid £10 for 16 tokens and the kids had a good few hours out of it. We probably could have stayed longer too but had plans so had to leave.... Much to my daughters disgust! 😂

worth stopping by if in the area. Rides may be weathered, but in a good , familiar way...like patina leather. Kids won't care anyway, they had fun and that's what matters. Good value. Keep this place alive!

A step back to being a child again. All the things you wanted to play on are here for your kids. Great for 3 to 10yr olds. My granddaughter loves the swinging chairs just like her great nan did when she was a kid. Lovely family run affordable fun.

Great afternoon .Beautiful flower displays and attentive and helpful staff. A little in need of some ‘paintwork’ but my little granddaughter remarked that we didn’t have to queue like Lego land! A wonderful facility for young children and not very expensive. Continue this tradition please!

A wonderful hidden treasure in Southampton. The kids LOVE this place! It's kinda shabby and a little rundown but that's all part of the charm and the guys that run it are very helpful and clearly look after the place well.

Simple fun . A hidden gem. Who needs all the glitz and 21st century rides? This place is great yes it may not be polished and perfect but that's what makes it so refreshing. No entrance fees just pay for the rides with a prepaid token. It won't break the bank either. Trampolines, Helter skelter, Roundabouts, Swing boats and more. Yes take yourself back to a time when life was much simpler and believe me the kids will still love it....

One of my favourite places in Southampton. I remember playing here as a child, as does my mother. Apparently, the late owner of the park actually built most of the rides himself from recycled materials for his children (that now run the park). Wonderful place full of wonderful memories. ❤️❤️❤️

Yes, it's a little worn and tired in places but the best of us are! The atmosphere is laid back and carefree, a far cry from the jostling mayhem of Legoland and the cost is a complete bargain. Going back next week!!

Through adult eyes the Pleasure Park is weathered and small but through a 4 year old's eyes, it's a little adventure. It is simple and fun, old school lovely. Very cheap for tokens and you can also buy drinks, snacks and ice creams. The chap running it is very nice and helpful. You can enjoy a little walk around the sports centre, there are also two little parks. If you are expecting a theme park, go to Peppa Pig World.
