Decent course with some nice variation in holes. Greens were in fairly good nick despite having a bit of rain for a couple of days before. The rough was quite punishing so a big incentive to hit fairways. Good prices and close to my office so able to finish up a little early and hit 18 holes of an evening.

Nice driving range had a lesson with Darren first for years certainly gave me something different to work on. I haven't played the course for years but I hear from friends its quite enjoyable so maybe I'll play it again sometime. Range balls not to expensive and you can get a coffee afterwards.

I highly recommend this course... Fairways were well cut and greens were excellent but you need to take time to read them.. Long par 3's and a couple of long par 4's.. The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 was because of Corona virus the bar was not open... A cold beer would have completed the round.. Need to get the bar open!! One last thing... The green fees are very good..

Cannot thank the guys enough - up there the other day with my lads on the driving range (go up quite a bit - great price on the range) - left my wallet behind - went up the next day and they had kept it behind the desk for me! Legends!

Enjoyed the course. However the experience was tainted by the rude club secretary who approached us with a snobby manner. Tee off marshal was pleasant, needs a raise.

Fantastic course, staff are very friendly and helpful, driving range is great and the prices are amazing for everything you get. Have just signed up as a Pace Golf Member and it's a brilliant initiative with the trackers and marshals. Would recommend this club to anyone.

Played today at Chilworth I feel a little disappointed as the greens have been worked on not in very good condition like the course but I feel the pro shop could have given the heads up or reduce the green fee like Paultons

I'd go with 3 and a half stars if I could. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I've had lessons here with Chris and he's definitely improved my game. The range is OK but could probably do with a bit of an upgrade. The course itself is really good in dry conditions but does not hold up too well when wet and as other people have said, the greens are a bit slow but that personally suits my putting so I don't see it as too much of an issue. The course offers a good challenge with a range of holes and hazards. The price could be a bit cheaper in my opinion but they do offer good twilight prices. The pro shop has a good range of equipment but again, a little bit pricey and you can find most items cheaper online. Happy to play here though!

Went to the driving range today, it was busy but very good and useful for when I play my first round of golf after the course opening. Very helpful staff!

Like the golf club, however I left a Titliest SM5 56 wedge behind green on hole 4 when I played but was not handed in slightly disappointed with the groups behind with not handing it in to the proshop!

Played very early today, course recovering from all the rain of past months. Semi could do with trim to help locate ball a bit quicker. Course will be in great order within the next couple of weeks as ground staff are working very hard to aid recovery.

I have played Chilworth three time in the last month or so and it's been great. The club house isn't impressive but that doesn't bother me. People are pretty friendly and the range although a little scruffy is fine for a lunchtime or a few before a round. The course has been in great condition. I took my Dad who doesn't play much but was very impressed. It's cheap at Twilight and has been the perfect mix of busy but not too much. Will definitely play there a few more times this summer

So, new to Golf. Phoned a couple of courses around and I have to say with little or no response I was beginning to wonder if Golf was for me. I phoned Chilworth and right from the first phone call I felt valued. When I arrived the place was busy but I was able to park the car. The grounds are in beautiful settings. You are guided into the shop to book in. From a novice point of view it looks very well stocked with plenty of goodies to keep you occupied. Chris is one of the golf pros and I was introduced to him, grabbed a coffee and he very kindly loaned me some clubs. For some one like me who knows very little about Golf and was very much out of my comfort zone, Chris it seems by his very nature took the fear of me possibly looking like a fool away. A swift pint in the club house afterwards and more importantly..... More lessons booked. Thank you everyone for the support this newbie needed.

1.06pm tee time, Saturday. Well equipped pro shop with helpful young staff. Enjoyed the course, the greens were in fine shape. As a fine weather players we retired to the club house mid afternoon due to heavy rain. Very disappointing no bar staff, staff coming through for the pro shop. Only food seemed to be crisp etc or there were 2 very worn out looking sausage roll looking very lonely in the large heated cabinet. The elderly gent that served us could not have been less interested, it was if how dare you call me from the pro shop. After 2beers we left 5.25 as he was cashing up the till. Golf is a social game for us which includes using a good club house Yes there were not many people about by the time we left but this is the most uninviting club house I think I have ever been in. I am surprised that they allow such a big revenue earner pass them by,mid afternoon on a Saturday the place should be buzzing but we were the only ones in their for our time there.

Have been a member at Chilworth for 7 years. It is a friendly member's club with excellent staff and facilities .. The course is improving every year.. superb greens and a eclectic mix of difficult (i.e. the 1st) and fairly easy holes.. the front 9 is challenging, leading to a more sedate back 9.. highly recommended for the casual visitor ..
