Just had a wonderful afternoon celebrating with family for Mother's Day at Romsey Golf Club. Excellent food and value for money, relaxed and friendly atmosphere, great service and lovely surroundings. Highly recommend.

First visit for a few years, course very dry and bouncy but presented well and greens very nice, trees near tees need trimming back a bit as a bit overgrown, clubhouse staff nice and friendly food excellent, worth a visit if in area.

Stunning course. The scorecard makes it look an easy 18 hole course, but it is far from it. Accurate tee shots are a must with some clever tree positions catching you out. Greens narrow but in a great condition and rewards to be had for hitting the pin.

Great friendly club, made to feel welcome by the Pro staff, bar staff & general management. Great challenging course too, not long but narrow!! Especially as the course is coming out of its winter hibernation.

Played at Romsey for the third time. Course in excellent condition and it provided a real test for the lads I was playing with. Special mention to the ladies. Superb attentive service and a sumptuous meal. Hope to play again there in due course !!!

Excellent good value Sunday lunch with very friendly and helpful service. Only one small criticism! Hot food was served on cold plates which meant that the food got cold quickly. I heard the man on the next table to us making the same comment. Apart from that - everything great with all present Covid restrictions complied with.

Played recently as a 3 ball. Was greeted on arrival by really friendly staff, the same gents welcomed us off the course as well. The golf course was well kept, very challenging. Will definitely make a point of returning.

Fantastic golf club been a member 20 years great blend of ages now. Course is in fantastic condition and has a fantastic clubhouse professionally operated great selection of Drinks and fantastic Catering provided, Sunday lunch is a must, so is booking.

Wedding planner is amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. Can't wait for the wedding on Friday. Rachel makes you so relaxed. Well Friday was a perfect day. The venue was stunning. Staff were amazing and food was excellent What a beautiful place for a wedding breakfast and reception

Played Romsey on a recrproical agreement yesterday and despite heavy overnight rain course was in good condition with greens running true. Heath the pro couldn't have more helpful, clubhouse staff and facilities were also excellent. We enjoyed it so much we went out and played the front 9 again. Would recommend this course as a real test and course management needs to be spot on.

Nice course but you don't always get the result your shot deserves due to the design of the course, greens all different speeds doesn't help either. Very friendly club house with good food and drink.

Played a couple of times within the last week, course generally in good condition coming out of the winter month's, greens were pretty good ..... A short course by today's standards but a really good test of course management and MAKING SURE YOU'RE STRAIGHT :) ..... Very friendly pro shop and clubhouse and the halfway house and young lady that ran it (Karen) very hospitable ..... You could score really well ..... OR .... The course could get the better of you ...... A GOOD CHALLENGE .... ENJOY !

I’ve been golfing for 46 years now only stopping when I developed the shanks in 1976 partly because of a terrible pro who dislodged my perfect vardon grip, but mainly because of the set up of this course. Now I return to this grass haven after all these years. Well how times have changed, this course went from a flyer in the 70’s to a cabbage of a course to date. Now forgive me if I hit 2 snowman on my score card but when the tee markers are positioned in a way that the only shot you can make will force you into a ditch. This is an exhausted feeling which wounded me deeply. someone needs to be accountable for such a seething situation on a modern day golf course. Only one greenkeeper was to be seen and he was more interested in talking to a silver birch tree, which I can only imagine he thought was a member. The greens were unconventional, uncontrollable and uncomfortable to say the least. My hips folded after the 12th hole due to the hardness of the ground. No weather excuses, my lawn at home is soft like flora butter in a ham pickle sandwich. Trees obviously planted to aid right handers and yardage post inaccurate to my gps range finder pro 2018 uk edition. I must say I’ve age 4 years playing here again, so thank the golfing gods there’s a nice pint to be found in the clubhouse. The review would be higher but due to the bumpy exit and fast moving traffic that hampered my escape of this golf club I can only give 3 stars.

Played 18 holes. Extremely dry conditions. Grass tees and greens in excellent condition. Many tree-lined holes so you have to hit straight!
