Good for walk dog and enjoy sea and picnic free car park😊

Relaxing outdoor seating with views of ships passing by. Council toilets next to café as well as free parking. But if it rains there is nowhere to take cover, only retreating back to your own car. Great place to visit on a sunny day, pets welcome with available drinking water bowl. Please check opening times as these are dependent on local weather. Warning you could be on their phone number for forty minutes before speaking to Council Staff asking about opening hours. I recommend you drive there on sunny days and take that chance if they are open.

Nice area by the water where you can see the cruise ships passing by. The power station near does ruin the view slightly.

I went to the new cafe and it was really nice and relaxing by the shore. Staff at the cafe were friendly too, it's a friendly ran cafe.

Decent walk on the shingle with the family and dogs. Good little cafe next to the pitch and putt. Also has toilets there for public use.

Had a great walk along the shore in beautiful weather, sunny but quite chilly due to the wind. A lovely hot drink from the Cafe ( take away only - cash only) took the edge off the cold.

Was the most peaceful beach I've been to in a while. Sun was setting on the sea and it was absolute bliss. For a second I forgot I was in lockdown and for a glimpse I thought I was on holiday just with a touch of winter sun! Will definitely recommend going there!

My favourite place in Southampton. Over the week there are not too many people. Nice place to go on a walk with a dog. Peaceful, clean, relaxing.

The pitch and putt had always been I lovely place to take the kids we used to when the kids were small. In addition there is now a cafe and toilets so that's a bonus. There is a nice walk behind the pitch and putt that goes through to Woolston if you carry on straight or there is now a loop path around a green open space, that was very popular with dog walkers. There are plenty of benches and if you walk the other way you can walk along the shore and if you like all the way to Netley.

Good for dog walking cycling. It has become a great place for bird watching particularly wader birds. Has toilets and a cafe which is open in the summer. There is also a basic play park alo g the shore front.

A good place to spend if you have a spare hour. But it is now closed until spring. There is also a lovely outdoor cafe where they serve hotdogs burgers oven baked pizzas toasted sandwiches tea coffee cakes etc. But again now closed till spring.

Always made to feel welcome. They make a lovely cup of tea and I had one of the tastiest cheese burgers I've ever had. Great place to stop for refreshments on my occasional walks from Hamble to Woolston. There is lots of car parking space for the sports people and local walking along the shore.
