Went for a Christmas Party. It was noticeable the number of people not there. However the staff were friendly, and helpful. The venue is lovely and first time there. Lots of different spaces. Food was 7/10 and traditional Christmas fare. Our orgnaiser had to argue to have a bottle on each of our 2 tables included in the £42 p/p. DJ created a good vibe.

My daughter hired this venue for a birthday party 2 weeks ago. The event planner, Callum was amazing throughout the whole process and ensured that everything went smoothly up to and on the day. The venue is bright, airy, clean and modern and accommodated the 30 or so guests really well. Hire costs were very reasonable too in comparison with other places we looked at. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful course. Well kept greens and fairways. Lovely tree lined fairways and rough is not too long and fair. Greens were playing quite fast but all were in very good condition. Staff are friendly and helpful throughout from Professional Shop to bar staff. We played a Society Day on a Sunday and were well looked after. Played here twice now and looking forward to returning in the future.

Great relaxed round as usual just playing the white practice course . . . But so very dry and brown grass . . .Just lack of rain in recent weeks I guess! Ball carrie a good few extra yards and bounces on So club selection critical. Driving the green is easier than usual if you can hit straight :-)

We walked around through the woods. The golf course was either side. Very lovely, clean and tidy. Amazing space, lots of signs, the bunkers were very clean. Amazingly kept golf course

A great 9 hole course. Some nice par 4s and a couple of pretty par 3s. The greens are like a billard table and viciously fast. A bit shorter holes than a full course but it is narrow which makes up for it. Not keeping it straight and it will be punished. If you have not enough time for a full round this is a good alternative.

A tight course with small targets, a 600 yard par 5 that will test anyone. Played in April so treated greens, that are covered in tram lines and bumpy making putting a lottery. Fairways left very long and are a little patchy. Hopefully both will improve in the coming month.

We played Aldenham GC in a Foxes match, had a great welcome. The course was well laid out and maintained to good standard, fairways were wide enough and mainly tree lined. Greens were quite fast and undulating. The 13th hole was a long raking par 5 some 621 yards long, we were told it used to be the longest par 5 in Europe quite a challenge. We had a post match meal steak pie potatoes and fresh vegetables followed by a delightful pudding. Overall a really great day, the only downside side we lost the match. I will definitely be returning, if you haven't played this course I highly recommend you put it on your list. Photo first tee

Lovely track and good winter golf test. Despite all the rain, the course was wet underfoot, but not boggy. Shame about the 2 winter greens, but needs must. I’ll be back in the spring/summer as I can imagine when all the foliage is in bloom its a totally different course!! Good pint of Guinness also!!

You will need to be straight here or you will lose shots on this tight but fair course. The relief 9 hole course is the same. The greens are now running faster and are much improved. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. A first class teaching Pro is always there to help. Since writing the above, new owners have spent a lot of money on completely upgrading the clubhouse and continue to upgrade the courses.

Lovely course and good value. I played via Golfnow and played on the academy course, which was more than suffice for someone at my level. Fairly well maintained, the club house is in need of some renovation. All in all a good experience and will be coming back.

Lovely courses at Aldenham, the condition on both the 18 and the 9 is the best in the area. The staff are great, booking system through the app is so easy to use and other members you meet around the courses are always friendly. If you are thinking of playing or joining as a member you will not be disappointed.

Fairways reasonable, very few bare patches. Tremendous work being carried out on the greens - draining to below the clay level. Challenging layout with the famous 600+yd 13th. The clubhouse has and is having extensive rebuilding. All in all very good value.

I have played Aldenham many times over the years, but recently the green keeper's have got it just right. The greens are true and fast. The fairways are well contoured. This is not an easy course, par 70, you have to be accurate. The staff and members are really friendly, and the food is good.

Played the nine hole course this morning. Greens were shocking, tees weren't that much better. The green keepers obviohave a lie in on a Sunday. Maybe better after midday!!!. Food was nice hence the 3.

Lovely staff and amazing Sunday roast - I booked a table for 17 for lunch today and it was 5/5. The food was such good quality and the staff went out of their way to make sure we were well looked after. Can’t wait to go back 😃

Great course, well maintained with quality greens. Friendly clubhouse and a good breakfast. Would have given 5 stars if not for the rude Pro shop manager. He zoomed up on his buggy on the 12th hole and very rudely told us were playing slow and that we were holding up play. He also said he's coming back in 20 mins to check on us. The group behind was 2 holes back and infront we were only two holes behind the next group. Not once during our round did the group behind make up the 2 hole gap. Im not sure how much faster we could go and scoring 42 on the front nine Im not exactly a hacker! Coutersy and politness is what unfortunately we lack in our service and hospitality sector in this country. We don't mind being told to speed up by the staff, even if we aren't holding up play as long as they're not rude and disrespectful while doing it! We are paying customers that keep these courses going and we should take a leaf out of the service industry in the USA and Asia who know what customer service is all about.
