M. T.This is now a 9 hole course, they are making changes to the course and it could be very good when done later this year.
J. N.Always loved this local golf course. It's had it's problems with the greens but lately it has improved. The owner is making an effort to keep improving it further and they are more than happy for you to pop in for a drink if you don't want to play golf.
M. L.Quite challenging golf course with a lot of water and plenty of opportunities to lose balls. However it is very scenic with wildlife & a river running by and is not at all boring or predictable. Clubhouse is basic but fine with bar, food tv etc. I come regularly in the summer months
D. P.The golf course itself is fantastic. Lovely greens and fairways, the groundsmen clearly do a great job. Each hole is interesting and forces you to think about your shot, especially with so much water in play.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming and it was very good value.
The only letdown is the bar/clubhouse, which is pretty downmarket and characterless in comparison with the course. At least the beer was cold!
L. W.Had the most scrumptious Sunday roast and it was wonderful. The beef was plentiful and beautifully cooked with a generous portion of seasonal vegetables. The gravey was to die for and we were served by the friendliest staff and each meal was only £10.00p so try and it and you won't be disappointed. The setting is also beautiful with views over the golf course. It knocks spots off all of the other Sunday Roasts served locally.
R. D. Q.played 27-8-16 not bad,greens need a bit of tlc, and the coarse in general needs smarting up. some testing holes, one or two benches placed around the tees would be good as play can get a bit slow. overall a nice public golf coarse. value for money and good food. will go again.6/10
I. G.Not played the course before. Great value for money. Some nice holes. Vary from tight drives through tree, wide open fairways and challenges over water. Looking forward to playing again.

J. A.Golf course with varied holes. Needs a bit of tlc as a few bunkers are GUR. Not that expensive and would suit golfers of both high and low handicaps with water hazards and ditches dotted around
M.Had a very enjoyable round at a course which is clearly on a good road to recovery. Will get better and better with summer growth. Staff friendly, good course. Watch the water!
