Z. D.After leaving the games for over 5 years it was time to start getting on to some fairways. Great custom fit service considering I hadn't swung a club for so long. Very patient and great advice from all the start in store. Would recommend for a no judging fitting for a new starter or someone returning to the game. 👍👍
M. P.Really great assistance in-store I felt, not just in the fitting but also a few tips too which showed what I could get out of the club when I applied them in the simulator. I saw spin rate drop in half, and consequently was just a few yards offline rather than ~50 yards offline with my previous driver (and therefore longer). For me, the stats play a huge part in my decision of whether to buy. But of course, hitting full shots in the simulator helped me understand how it feels in the hand too. Great stuff.

R. H.It’s a great golf shop. If you do your homework a bargain can be had on price match! Every now and again a genuine sale item can be bought. Otherwise if money isn’t an issue you can get everything a golfer needs in one store.
R. L.I visit many American Golf branches around the country, but the York one I find always the best. The manager and staff are so friendly and helpful, and you can try out any equipment they have on sale. Highly recommended.

s.Great service from American Golf, they let me return a putter to buy a more expensive one. Got a second hand £200 putter for £60. Really knowledgeable staff and have the ability to fit clubs. Not sure what set up they have (GC quad, trackman , &c.) but it looks like a very professional setup! Would love to spend some time there and work on my swing after my injury I've been having no end of issues and think I need some professional advice.
