Following good reports from other schools, we commissioned Toop Studio to produce our new promo video. We were delighted by the service provided and the final product. After taking over an independent art supply shop that has been established for many years I wanted to update and give us a fresh new brand identity which was to included shop signage and website. Shadric was great to work with and listened to all my ideas. He took the time to get a sense of how I wanted the business to be seen and was extremely knowledgeable about the ways of portraying that through the design. He came up with a few different options for me to consider before he developed my favourite and I’m extremely happy with the final result. This included several layouts and colour schemes which could be used in different areas of the business. As the leading supplier of art materials to education, we presented Toop Studio with a brief to design a new range of pad covers that would encompass various papers from layout to watercolour. With a customer base that includes all the top design colleges, our products are marketed to the 'visually aware' and given that a pad is a very personal possession to an artist, the brief was very challenging. Several years on, I can say that Toop's designs have helped propel sales of our pad range beyond expectations. Seawhite competes against the biggest companies in the graphic arts industry and we feel that we have been fortunate to have found a designer who manages to 'hit the target' so effectively. I have had the pleasure of working with Toop Studio on three projects at Springfield: re-branding the school, designing a feature 'Future Wall' for the school's reception and producing a film to complement the school's prospectus. I have found Toop Studio to be skilled at interpreting the client's requirements accurately and then bringing an original and creative vision to each project. I particularly value the perfectionism and attention to detail that they bring to their design work; and also how they communicate with the client at each stage of the project's development. The 'Future Wall' exceeded my expectations and is loved by the school community. Toop Studio created a sequence of engaging graphic images to depict the 'highs and lows' of history, the world today and glimpses of the future. Underpinning the images was the concept that 'the future depends on what you do today'; an inspirational message wholly appropriate for an innovative and forward looking school community. When producing a film to complement the school's prospectus, Toop Studio were able to link key ideas and images from the 'Future Wall' into an animated piece. The team were skilled at working with pupils as well as staff to ensure that they had a valuable and engaging experience as well as 'bringing out the best' in them for the finished piece. I believe we have created an inventive and engaging clip which promotes and celebrates the ethos of our school. I can highly recommend Toop Studio's design work.
