This is the best and one of its kind private workspace & design studio in the Heart of Cardiff. It has a very professional feel and good Ergonomics around the studio from the Herman Miller chair and Vitsœ shelving system just to mention a few. My favourite thing about the studio is all the hip hop references and books around the space, it gives you an insight on what Ibby is all about.

Ibby gave us a thorough and thoughtful introduction to the way he works and methodically got us to express our brand purpose and values. He then researched our market place and gave considerable thought to what might be appropriate branding. He kept in touch with us during this process and then we had a meeting where he proposed and explained his thinking behind a range of alternatives. We discussed these together and chose a shortlist for Ibby to work up into designs. At a subsequent meeting we chose our favourite and that was worked up into a very professional and detailed branding package for us to use. We are delighted with the branding - logo and colours - but interestingly, the final design wasn't the sort of design that we originally thought we wanted. The final design was far better!

I visited the studio recently to discover where such a design and unique caliber of business is executed. And the space reflects this entirely after a personal tour I quickly discovered how everything in the studio is placed and designed in such a way to maximise efficiency, meaning and definition. Every piece has a worthy story as well as feeling so tranquil and a calm space to work, being designed in such a way to be transformable to whatever needs fit and simply fold away and reform into the beautiful minimalist space that it is. Fantastic space, makes you feel at ease, even when you are discussing work. Every element of it, every piece of the furniture is there for a reason. It is a little, but multifunctional design studio, which can be turned to a cameral event venue (a screening, a guest talk or perhaps a group meeting). Even books are curated to convey a message, a message of internal growth and transformation. The physical space is amazing, but the Tarafdar Studio is much more than that. It has no limits to what can be achieved in design (and it's growing portfolio is a proof of that).

Reached out to Ibby around a year ago now, needed a logo design done for a new business I had started, After filling out a Questionnaire he contacted me & asked to meet, we met up & he was very friendly & easy to converse with, he asked me in depth & detailed questions about my business ideas, goals & ambitions, he showed a lot of interest & this was nice to see & It just felt positive from the get go. He then went away & worked on a design, He told me what to expect in terms of a time frame & communications during the whole process & he was very efficient. Used Ibby to get a logo done for an esports company I was working on at the time called Unanimous Games. The way I found him was actually through my brother who follows his social media, which should tell you that Ibby is great at marketing. I live in New York but knew about his work despite how far he lives from me. At first, my colleagues didn't want to go with Ibby, but he persisted in already understanding what they were looking for. When he sent them the logo they liked it so much that they took back what they said and decided to move forward. If you haven't worked with someone who's a real artist then Ibby's process may seem a bit strange. But trust me when I say it's a process worth going through. You might be asking yourself why you have to answer a PDF worth of questions to get a logo, but you won't be dissatisfied. Since that initial logo and branding work was done for us at Unanimous Games I've gone on to recommend Ibby to a variety of family and friends. And I plan to continue working with him moving forward as a repeat customer. Definitely worth giving him a shot!

I approached Ibby after becoming aware of his creativity and impressed by his approach. Algenuity was in need of a rethink in its brand, identity and messaging as we prepared for entering a new season for our business. Algenuity is a disruptive algal biotechnology company based in Bedfordshire, north of London. We are a team of scientists and engineers and innovators that has developed technology and ideas around the use of algae-based ingredients in multiple market-hungry areas including food, beverages and refreshments, cosmetics and personal care and even therapeutics. Our products and platform are now going into mainstream food and beverages and we needed our brand to align with who we are. Ibby and I connected straight away around the vision and need for Algenuity. The timing of this piece of work from both sides seemed to be spot on. Despite the business area being quite different from the projects on which Ibby has worked previously, Ibby delivered an incredible result - his work ethic was exemplary, his professionalism and ability to listen to and understand our needs across the company was outstanding. The logo and brand identity and then the website that Ibby delivered over a course of just over two months were far beyond my original hope and expectations. I would say that Ibby's ability to create and conceptualise and bring together ideas and concepts is exceptional. The logo is iconic and strong and inspirational. I would recommend this studio without exception.
