As a regular user of Photoshop and Illustrator I was looking for some training on InDesign to enable me to create publications of my work. I came across Red Rocket Studio and after a quick conversation with Ally I felt that they could offer the right level of training given my existing Adobe skill set. I opted for one-to-one training. All the initial correspondence and instructions were clear, and the morning of the course was a simple log into zoom to meet my instructor Tim. I had previously received all the material and files needed so they were ready to use. Tim was very knowledgeable, and we moved at a pace that was perfect for me. I found his teaching method clear and super easy to follow with plenty of opportunity for me to try out skills as we went along. I am particularly grateful for the extra tips he gave me on software that was outside of the course profile, but which linked into my intended InDesign workflow. In fact, since I had some knowledge, he covered some areas that were beyond the course level. The day was enjoyable, and it was easy to be relaxed with Tim. So much so that it did not feel like a course, more like learning with a colleague or friend. The best bit is I have a friend to call if I need help putting it all in to action over the next year. Thank you to Tim, Ally and everyone at Red Rocket Studios who have created a great learning opportunity. Customised InDesign/Photoshop Course This was my second course with Red Rocket Studio and like the last it was great! Ally was very accommodating allowing us to cover not only InDesign, but also some simple elements of Photoshop that we wanted to learn. The courses, led by Tim, are always well structured and easy to follow. Tim is also very accommodating repeating information that you may not have heard or understood. I would not only highly recommend the 2-day InDesign course, but also the customised for those looking for more bespoke training.

I recently attended a 2 day InDesign course ran by Red Rocket. It was one of the best courses of it's type I have ever done. The trainer - Tim - was superb; knowledgeable, clear and passionate about the subject matter. I booked on the course to help me with aspects of my job and I am delighted with the results, so much so that I am going to attend the level 2 course in a month or so. I work for a small Marketing agency as a video and graphic editor and joined Red Rocket Studio's Adobe InDesign course in order to learn the program as I’ve always had issues working with it. I had a lot of fun on the course, it really helped me to get a better grasp of Adobe InDesign and I feel so much more confident using it at my job! Tim & Ally really know their stuff and I learnt a huge amount in 2 days, their teaching style is also sensitive with just the right amount of humour. Being self-taught on Adobe CC I was apprehensive about undergoing any training with not knowing at exactly what level I was. I need not have worried as Tim & Ally quickly assessed my abilities and instantly adjusted their teaching accordingly. I especially enjoyed learning how to make road maps in illustrator and felt a great sense of achievement when mastering the pen tool. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to progress in Adobe CC or photography and can't wait for my next course with them.

I have just completed the two-day Introduction to InDesign training and can highly recommend it. The pre- and post-training communication from Alyson has been very efficient, and our trainer, Tim, was excellent. His gentle, patient manner put me very much at ease and I felt free to ask any question, even about things he had already explained more than once. We used Red Rocket Studio to train two groups on InDesign. The whole team really enjoyed each session; Tim was extremely clear and informative, demonstrating how to use the programme with great tips on shortcuts and what to do if you accidentally click the wrong buttons / make mistakes (which can be a big fear!). He trained at the perfect pace, giving everyone the chance to practise each step. We all feel much more confident using InDesign now.

Can't recommend Indesign Training with Red Rocket Studios enough. Everyone I've spoken to at the company has been lovely and the training itself was so thoughtful and well-planned. (I actually think they made Zoom training work better than in-person training ever could!) We covered huge amounts of information - but in a way that means I can genuinely say I've retained it all. Combined with the 'after care' the company offers (the chance to send follow-up queries, etc.) we couldn't ask for a better service. I'm certainly walking away with the skills to make the marketing materials in my head a reality - and that is beyond exciting!

We weren't sure what to expect but after a quick email to them about our needs, we arranged for the trainer to come to us and within two weeks we had our training. The last two days Illustrator training with Tim have been great, I’ve really enjoyed it and learnt so much! Tim came to my place of work to conduct a day of training on Adobe InDesign. I recently had a 2 day Photoshop / InDesign course with Tony. I thoroughly enjoyed my training. Tony was really patient when going through everything, he was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Anything I was a bit uncertain of at first, he would go through again very clearly to make sure I understood it. Tony would give examples of what I can use depending on the material I wanted to produce, which was really helpful. I have come away feeling so much more confident with the software and feel I can produce a lot more from the skills I have gained from the course. And also, arranging a suitable date with Ally beforehand was so easy and her responses are always so quick and informative! I would definitely recommend Red Rocket Studio! :)

Just had an amazing training day with Tim. As a a techno dinosaur I was keen to learn how to use One Design & Photoshop for brochure design and social media posts. Very much enjoyed a two day 'Adobe Photoshop for Beginners' course provided by Red Rocket Studio at my place of work. In general 'for beginners' courses can be hard to pitch as although everyone should be a beginner in the exact software package, levels of experience with other similar packages or just IT in general are likely to vary. I think they handled this very well and the class (we were a small group of four) were able to move through content at a pace that kept everybody happy. Overall the training was very useful for my work and all my questions were answered throughout. Definitely recommend.

I would highly recommend this company for Indesign Training. I did my level 1 & 2 and it was very organised and well thought out. Tim was excellent and answered any queries the group had. I have struggled with Indesign for a long time but they have helped me become a whizz and I've now been able to design our Company Brochure. I attended the Marketing materials Course in January 2018. I have never used Photoshop or InDesign before. I would highly recommend it to any beginners wanting to learn to use these programmes for any reason, not just marketing. The course is at a steady pace, with plenty of opportunity to try everything out, have a play, make mistakes and get someone to point out how to correct it. Tim and Ally are great, very knowledgeable, with practical ideas and helpful tips. Tim is an excellent tutor. He combines knowledge, experience and patience. I benefitted from a one day bespoke course on Adobe Photoshop: it helped untangle the little knowledge I had imperfectly gained and showed the immense possibilities that Photoshop offers. There was time to gain some practical experience including the coming problems that can occur (e.g. when settings have not been reset to default position). There are particular projects that I am keen to take forward and Tim tailored the training to take account of this. Watching Tim demonstrate the use of Photoshop was enlightening. Besides the big building blocks there were a myriad of hints and tips that will help enormously. Tim governed the ground at a good pace: I didn’t feel pressured to move on, and we covered a lot of territory. A mark of a good tutor is that they encourage you to explore possibilities: I shall certainly be doing that. I would thoroughly recommend Red Rocket Studio.

I completed an intro to photoshop 1 day course with Tony, who was so helpful and informative. He explained everything really well and enabled me to work at my own pace. I didn’t really know what to expect from this course or if it would be worth it (if I could just watch a video online) however, I honestly learnt so much (E.g tips and shortcuts) as well as, making errors which Tony helped me understand how to fix. This would have not been possible had I watched a video and would have probably taken me much more time and effort to figure out how to work/ fix errors. Plus I’m quite lazy so it’s good to do this all in one day/ have someone one to one teach you. Tony also gave examples of using / how I would use photoshop in my chosen work field - which was really helpful/ engaging. Ally was so helpful in finding a day that suited me to complete the course (which had to be a weekend as I work during the week), this flexibility really helped me out and is one of the reasons I chose this course. I also feel the prices given for this course reflect the time and effort this is put in as you are also given notes to take away and 1 year post support. I am so happy I have now learnt a new skill that will hopefully add to my cv/ allow me to have further job prospects in my chosen area - thank you!!
