Having never paid over £50 for a logo I was more than a little nervous about spending more on branding...I shouldn't have worried, not with Karl and the Silver Birch Creative team working for me. Several months on I'm over the moon with the brand they created and can highly recommend working with Karl and the SBC team. Chris Wright at Silver Birch worked closely with Lisa Bridge to create the original branding for Oliver's* at launch in the autumn of 2015. Chris had previously designed the brand logos and guidelines for other businesses owned by Lisa and myself. We had been immensely impressed by his ability to connect with the emotional, softer aspects of those businesses. Because Oliver's is a business and brand where the emotion is of the utmost importance (our motto is "Food, with feeling"), we felt very comfortable asking Chris to create the branding for this new business. Chris took the time to really understand the nature of the business, how it would look and feel both on site and via external marketing and promotion - and came up with several concepts for us to select from. We liked this approach because (having worked in marketing for 20 years) some agencies will often give you just their preferred option and then it can be a difficult conversation and process to move from there to something you're truly happy with. Chris was extremely close first time anyway (we're quite picky!) with several designs and so all we had to do was make some minor tweaks and we were there very quickly. I cannot express enough how easy Chris is to work with, how skilled his design work is and how smooth the process was. We believe this stems from his ability to listen, understand and connect with you before going away to do the work.
