Great gym with swimming pool for the little ones & the aquatically inclined. Just more and more members, so less and less exclusive for the high fees, but still definitely recommended even if you may struggle to find the exact weights or space you'd like to have to exercise. Can be a bit a pricey but overall would recommend. definitely still worth it.

It's a really nice gym and pool, and has a lot of additional sessions you can take advantage of. The seating area is nice and it feels clean and safe. The price however keeps rising and it's not something I can justify when there are other facilities locally that are significantly cheaper (albeit not as nice).

Been a member here on and off for the last 20 years originally single membership now family with my wife and 2 kids. Seeing how much the kids enjoy it has given me a new love for the place. Has everything you would expect, plenty of gym equipment, a decent 25m indoor swimming pool and a heated external pool. Rackets is the big plus with 7 tennis courts and 4 badminton courts. Used to have squash but these are currently being replaced by a Blaze studio. There are also 4 outdoor tennis courts as well as some adventure type things. The changing rooms are clean enough but could probably do with updating a bit. The gym is currently in the middle of a major update so it might get another star after that!

the steam room & sauna drastically needs to be hotter! it’s one of the only reasons I bought a membership & I love going to use the facilities but they’re just not hot enough at all you don’t feel like you’ve even been in 1 😔 please look into this asap a few other members have said the same as well

Absolutely love this place. Having moved from Bannatyne 2 yrs ago ,I never looked back. I like the set up with the swimming pool surrounded by cardio equipments and you can get full view of the place as one open space. The weights section is very good too. The only thing missing is a heavy punch bag for boxing! Trust me you will never regret a membership at this place 👍

Came from London 2 use the facilities and was not disappointed. Amazingly friendly staff (pt's included) and even the punters seemed nice and friendly, maybe its a Brum thing! Worth a visit if you're in town. (Todays receptionist was extremely great, forget her name, my bad - late shift 16-5-2022) cheers!!!

Good gym but the changing rooms are absolutely disgusting. They stink of sewage and it makes it very hard to shower. They are close to being unusable. Facilities are good but the gym is very dated. For the price I pay for a platinum membership, I expect a lot more.

Nice gym with good facilities including indoor and outdoor pools. Racquet sports also available. Expensive in comparison to other gyms but you get what you pay for. The pool is too public for myself but it serves a purpose. It can get busy after work, so be prepared for the hustle and bustle if you like that sort of work out environment.

Of late the behaviour of new members around the club has been absolutely horrendous. The club has looked very tired for a while but was alway saved by its function being the same as other clubs and the friendly staff and members. The vibe in the last year or so has changed dramatically and now feels very much like a council leisure centre or a pure gym with a sauna.

Lovely staff, great equipment. A few things I’d have to say negative: food and drink very expensive, workout stations all over the place and not easy to workout in certain areas. Toilets etc. To far away from cafe etc. HOWEVER, a nice place to workout and VERY friendly and helpful staff.

I would like to say that the staff are 5/5 - they're the only reason this gets 2 star instead of 1 star. Apart from that the gym is literally falling apart. The dumbbells have rubber that have come off and they look like they're 20 years old. The lighting in the gym is morbid. The benches are wobbly and also look like they're 20 years old. The leg extension machine is so rusted that bar unhooks itself mid set. I'll see if I can add some photos later

Been a member from the beginning, very good for a PLC type gym. Useful being able to use other DL gyms around the country. Big shame the outside pool isn't open all year round, those of us that enjoy outdoor swimming often discuss this and pass on our comments to the mgmt, it always falls on deaf ears, last comment back to me was keeping the pool open would lead to redundancies for staff as costs are tight ? Not listening to members feed back and not making the gym experience the best it can be for ALL also has the same consequences.

Definitely one of the best gyms in Brum. Pricey but worth every penny and the tennis coaches are brilliant! Can't wait until lockdown ends and we can finally go back!

As a new member im reasonably happy with the measures in place to keep everyone apart and safe. Plenty of cleaning stations so people can keep everything sanitised and safe to use. My real issue is that firstly, no one appears to return weights after they use them, which means that before you can use any plate loaded machine I have to unload someone's weights (today I watched a lady unload 10x25kg plates from a leg press before she could use it). Secondly the staff or trainers don't pull people up on it. I'd seriously suggest trying to change the training ethic here with soft bans for repeated offences. Apart from the issues above its a very clean and friendly facility and I would recommend to friends and family.

I have recently joined this gym and find the staff very polite. The gym coaches I have spoken to are lovely especially Bree who helped me to gain confidence of going into the gym after many years. Stephen who talked me through the terms and conditions of the gym was very professional in his approach. I cannot understand the negative comments about this complex, for me it is a lovely place to come and relax and have truly friendly people to help if needed.

Really helpful and pleasant staff. Can't do enough for you. Only recently joined, and yes it is expensive, but I wanted somewhere I could go with my 12 year old daughter and this fits the bill perfectly. Not just a gym but a full leisure facility. We love going. Also found everywhere to be spotless so can't understand other negative comments

I really enjoy spending time here. is a nice place and you have so many choices: tennis, swimming pool, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, the restaurant, gym, studio classes. However, I cannot understand how the management is unable to control the minimum hygiene standards. Every day, there are plenty of people going into sauna and then straight into the Jacuzzi or swimming poll, WITHOUT EVEN TAKING A SHOWER! FULL OF SWEAT!. How is this possible? they do not care at all about the rest of us when they're entering the Jacuzzi full of sweat. There should be some cameras around or at least a staff watching specially for those kind of people. I did complain few times about this issue and if I will not see improvements, I will definitely leave the club- because this is a MUST! - the minimum hygiene standards.

OK gym. Very expensive sadly the equipment is not really up to standard for a hard core gym freak. You can definitely come and go HARD here but for the real gym fanatics you need an iron gym. This is a health club and their is a difference. Excellent for quick and local workouts near the greatbar Kingstanding area

The gym is great however I just want to warn people not to use dry cleaners as I had a very important meeting and as I am self employed I cannot afford to Louise contracts I took my suit in for dry cleaning on tuesday and told the snotty server i need suit urgent for sat she said it will be ready for Friday called in late Thursday and it was not taken her attitude was discussing and I had to clean myself attending meeting in messy suit feeling very unconfident it was scrunched up in a dirty bin bag on floor

Leisure gym where one can spend hours doing all sorts be it badminton, squash, tennis or relaxing in a hot jacuzzi, sauna &steam. Nice friendly and professional staff. Big thumbs up 👍👍
