Joining 180 is one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life(Not exaggerating). When I joined this place I wasn’t able to run, very injury prone , and I was very moody because I was very tired all the time. I joined 180 on a 6 week challenge plan and after the first week itself I made my mind that this will be my future gym.By the time I completed the challenge , my running form is improved, I have big change in the energy level and I feel much better in overall health. This is a fantastic gym!! All the trainers are super nice and take an interest in you no matter what fitness level you’re at. I really like how they set up the training. They give you guidance on your diet and amazingly, they check your food on a daily basis and give advise on what kind of changes have to be made .

One of the best decisions I ever made was joining their 6 week challenge. I lost 2 stone and feel great. Their classes and nutrition guidelines have been a massive aid to me, I couldn't have done it without them. Everyone there is welcoming and it feels more like a social club then a gym, except for those pesky instructors making us work hard lol (their actually great). My 6 weeks ended and I have decided to stay with them indefinitely. With such great results why would I leave?

I was with this gym for several years before moving to London recently, so feel like I can give an honest review. I also had membership to two other chain gyms in the area. In short, this was the best gym in Bournemouth I found for my needs. It will suit people who like to do a lot of weight training and/or crossfit.
The gym is slightly out of the way, which meant it was a bit of a hidden gem when I first joined. The space might seem a bit small initially, but it has all the equipment you would need. It boasts more squat racks than the other local chain gyms and the quality of the equipment is also noticeably much better and of very high quality. After a while, the space grew on me and I found the closeness of the equipment to be a bonus.
I would also highly recommend the personal trainers at this gym. They are far and away much better than others I saw in the other local gyms. I have interacted with all the personal trainers here (most were here when I initially joined) and they are very friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about training. When I first joined the gym, I was pretty bad with form and technique which eventually led to a back injury. I then decided to try personal training here and was very surprised at how much I learned. My form and technique greatly improved and what I learned has stayed with me to this day.

For a long time I have had a love-hate relationship with the gym. I have joined a number of gyms in the past and after a while, struggled to stay motivated. 180 Strength is completely different and by far the best gym that I have ever joined! I signed up for the six week challenge and am so glad that I did. Since then, I have dropped 20lbs and my fitness levels have gone through the roof. I feel more confident and my energy levels have also improved. The whole team at 180 Strength are so friendly and helpful and you really feel as though they care about helping you to achieve your personal goals. Not only are the small group training and metcon, sessions brilliant, but nutritionists are also on hand to help you improve your diet and overall lifestyle as well. You really get the personal touch! Anyone who knows me knows that I am not an early riser. Now, even after the six week challenge has finished, I am still getting up to go to the gym for 6/7am before work (something that was previously unheard of)! I am looking forward to continuing my progress with 180 Strength.

I joined 180 strength after, back and forth debating about stepping in any form of gym. For years I had a mental block about them for some unknown reason. I braved it and went for the 6 week challenge which is completed in small group training sessions. Thanks to the lovely team, I grew in confidence not only in myself but about entering a gym too. With the help off the week by week online lessons, the Facebook group and face to face conversations, Jack and Ellen supported me through reaching my goals and gaining the knowledge not only for the gym but a whole fitness lifestyle. I have changed the way I think about food and fitness and love going to each session, pushing myself each week. Hi. I joined 6 week challenge at 180 Strength. I achieved amazing results. I lost 6% of body fat! It was the best choice as I decided to stay with the gym and be a member. I've been to a few gyms in Bournemouth, however for me 180 Strength it's the best. Great, patient, knowledgeable instructors always happy to help and advise. It's more private, if you want to learn technique, achieve your long term goals and stay motivated, it's the place to be!

I completed the 6-week challenge just before Christmas and what a great journey it was! The workouts were hard but not where you felt you wouldn't be able to complete them, the nutrition information was informative and helpful and the team were always on hand to help when needed or if you needed a bit of extra encouragement. During lockdown 180 Strength were very helpful and professional offering multiple different options and even extending the 6-week challenge due to it being online. I couldn't recommend the gym and the trainers enough!

I completed the 6 week challenge and our trainer Paola was really friendly and motivational, her workouts were designed really well and pushed me really hard. It was such a good way to jump start my fitness again, and great being part of a group on the same journey together. Lockdown meant that from week 2 onwards workouts had to be done over zoom but the 180 team including Paola kept us on track which was impressive!

Great gym and staff. I did the 6 week challenge where I lost just over 6kg. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and there is an emphasis on movement (quality not quantity). In the 6 week challenge there is a lot of focus on the nutrition side and counting calories - I felt supported all the way through and they provide a comprehensive meal plan which is easy to follow. I would happily recommend this gym to friends and family!

What a great journey.I challenged myself to change my habits and my diet, however I found it very difficult to do it by myself. That's when I decided to take on the 6 Week Challenge with 180 Strength. I didn't know what to expect but I knew they could help me reach my goals.I felt the support of the 180 Strength Team from day 1. Although I had a tough first week, they kept me going and I started seeing the results straight away. From diet tips to workout routines, all members of the team were happy to support me and everybody who took on the 6 Week Challenge. Upon Lockdown 2.0 I was so impressed with how they handled everything. They provided with an additional 4 weeks of training and support to ensure that we were supported throughout. I decided to enrol in the 6 week challenge at the end of October 2020 to try to be the fittest and healthiest I could be in the hope of a better recovery after a forthcoming back operation.
I'm so happy that I decided to do this. All the trainers are amazing, friendly, professional and always happy to advise.
I trained 3 times a week at the Bournemouth gym which is very well equipped and the members there are so friendly and welcoming and I found these morning sessions definitely lifted my spirits.
The teams nutritionists provide recipes and advice at the beginning of the challenge and were on hand to advise throughout the challenge. They will let you know if you need to introduce more of a certain food group into your diet and even providing a recipe along with the advice which I found really useful.
Then lockdown came again so we went to online classes straight away. These were fantastic and never boring....definitely worth rolling out of bed for 😀
Unfortunately on my return to the gym my injury got the better of me and I was unable to complete the course but I found myself feeling so much better with a definite increase in energy, my body more toned and I even lost a couple of kilos and that wasn't even in the full 6 weeks!
I also came away with a better knowledge and understanding of nutrition and the foods required to meet my original goal of feeling healthier inside and how to change my food habits to suit my lifestyle. It is amazing how eating healthier becomes a habit. I learnt how to adapt meals to suit the whole family.
I can't recommend this challenge enough. If you are feeling that you want to feel better about yourself inside and out and have no idea how to get started then enrol now!! 😀

Working with 180 strength on my fitness has been such a great journey. They have been nothing but encouraging and supportive of all aspects of my well being not just my muscles. Our sessions were always hard work but always with an element of fun, enjoyment being so important to keep me motivated.

Really enjoyed my 6week programme at 180strength. The first session destroyed my legs but each session after got easier and I felt fitter each time. Not only did the trainers (especially Jack Suljevic) push me hard to achieve my goals, but the nutritional advice was also really helpful and I am eating healthier than ever and have more energy as a result. Hi there I joined 180 strength about 2 months ago and it has changed my life my relationship with food has improved greatly and my knowledge of nutrition has broadened all this adds to the confidence in getting fit and healthy. 180 gym has helped me alot with not only my physical health but my mental health too.. The community aspect of it is amazing and is what keeps me coming back so on them demotivated days you have friends to cheer you on. Everyone is welcome regardless of their aims or abilities; whether you just want to get fit, improve your lifts, learn good form with weights or whether you need rehab following injury. I have had the BEST experience of 180. They have helped me through ‘remote’ coaching. So they provide me a program of exercises through a very handy app. With very useful videos of each exercise! That’s great for novices like me. The coaches are always on hand for anything you need too. Nothing is too much trouble.

All the trainers at 180 Strength have a wealth of experience and the equipment is perfect for anyone looking to get fit and strong. I joined the gym a few months ago because of my passion for powerlifting and thanks to Owen, Jack and especially Kevin my technique has greatly improved. I highly recommend booking PT sessions because they take a close look at your strengths and weaknesses and create a training program that suits your goals. Great gym with friendly staff and an atmosphere that feels more like a community than other gyms I’ve been to previously.
Their online remote coaching is much more dynamic than other programs I’ve used in the past and saw me regularly make progressions in strength. I would recommend to anyone who is unsure which program is right for them or has restraints on their time, as having your workouts sent to you via the app makes things super easy and convenient!

I joined 180 Strength about a year ago and use Kevin Yeung as a PT. He was great in guiding me towards my personal fitness goals. He is knowledgeable and dedicated. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable but so approachable,encouraging and motivating which is so needed especially after having to train after a busy day at work or first thing in the morning at 6:30am !
The gym has such a fun club feel & so far I’ve taken part in the Dorset plane pull ,& competed at the 180 powerlifting competition .

Love the this place. Everyone so helpful and welcoming great atmosphere. Great coaches and dietitions. And if you enjoy powerlifting/weightlifting or even want to try it for the first time this is the place to be. There's lots of good bodybuilding gyms around but none like this. Iv only been in 180 strength a few months but been made to feel very at home in this gym and as part of the team lots of advice encouragement and an excellent gym vibe. Not gonna comment on some of the music selections just to say I being my own headphones lol.

Best independant gym group I have been a part of, great trainers, staff and spaces (Bournemouth and Sanbanks). Combined knowledge of all the team is incredible and they cater for every need and goal. If you are looking to join a friendly and supportive gym then I highly HIGHLY recommend. 180 strength gym is the favourite gym I have been too. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is awesome. The music isn’t the generic stuff you get in most gyms and the range and type of equipment ensures there is always space to do the important exercise, squats, deadlifts, bench press as well as be creative with other exercises you want to incorporate into your training to maximise results for any type of sport. I personally target my training to compliment my parkour and the conditioning work for have been doing has really paid off. I would definitely recommend this gym for anyone serious about sports and fitness.

Really love training at this place. Since joining the barbell groups I have enjoyed every second of them and most importantly have got the love back for powerlifting that I had lost before joining. This has been something that the barbell coaches have been key players in, their passion for sport is evident every session, I'm fairly sure some of them have Eleiko plates bedding at home. There's no pretentiousness other than Tommy flexing his tiny biceps in the mirror every now and then. The coaches have patience in abundance and create a supportive atmosphere each session that makes you want to train and progress further as well as being able to have a laugh which is
something that I know gets us all turning up week in week out. I know a lot of us value their continued support and expertise but probably don't say it that often so thought I'd post this review. Equipment is also second to none too. Viva 180.

An amazing gym for powerlifters as it has a full set of comp equipment. I was visiting Bournemouth so trained here as a one off, the vibe was great, so far from your usual commercial gym. You can tell the owners have put a lot of work into creating a great lifting space... only wish there was one closer to where I live!

I've been training here for nearly two years now and I would not train anywhere else now. After years in corporate gyms 180 is a league of its own. The coaches are all friendly, approachable, highly knowledgeable and athletes in their own right. You couldn't ask for better. Everyone is made to feel welcome no matter what and it has such a great atmosphere with some serious banter at times 😂😂 All in all we are like a family and the support is there everyday.

I completed the 6 week Body Transformation Challenge with 180 Strength and couldn't recommend enough. The holistic programme covers nutrition, fitness classes and community support all the way through. Hi guys,
I am Jose and I am competing in Powerlifting -83kg. I have been following this sport for a long time. This my first year to compete. I started trying other powerlifting programmes and creating programmes by myself, only seeing afters weeks if they are worked.
I decided to come to 180 Strength looking for the best professionals who could help me to reach my next level in Powerlifting. When something is important for you, my recommendation is to go wherever you can find people that have been there or helped others to reach their goals.
At 180 Strength, the coaches helped me improved my techniques and made a personalised programme. Just 3 months later, they have not only helped me smashing all my PBs, but I also feel much more comfortable and secure than ever. I also believe that the best is still to come.
So, what can I say... I highly recommend this club. Just come and try it yourself.

As a complete beginner to any kind of weight/power lifting I was quite nervous joining 180. I needn't have been, it's such a welcoming gym (not a crazy ego in sight!) and I quickly felt comfortable despite being out of my comfort zone.
I joined the 180 Barbell group because I needed to be taught correct form and technique from scratch and Jack has been a great (& patient) coach. All the coaches are fab actually, so knowledgeable and supportive.
I initially joined to get stronger and improve my posture but have also lost about a stone and a half over the last few months and gone down 2 dress sizes with minimal changes to my diet - that's next to get sorted.
I really look forward to the sessions and it's such a feeling of achievement when you get a new PB. It's also a great stress-buster!
I'm so glad to have found 180, I've always hated exercise in general but I have a new hobby which I love but just so happens to be good for me 😊

I will recommend this gym to anybody who loves training & has goals to reach,the knowledge the PT's have is great whether it be with training or injury they can help,come along & you'll see what i mean...the place for gains💪

This gym, with the help of Rob Stewart, PT, has helped me to change the way I think about my physical and mental wellbeing. At 50, I am as strong as I ever have been. There are a variety of different people training here, ranging from a junior world champion power lifter (Owen Hubbard) to an elderly lady with parkinsons disease (she's incredible). Highly recommend!

A cosy Strength & Conditioning Suite that has the essential equipment for hardcore working out. Fitness goals are accessible for all due to the staffing team who are well qualified and experienced trainers and sportsmen. This sets the scene for a good work out environment and is more than affordable for the average joe compared to many strength & conditioning or crossfit suites.

Went here for their strength club , excellent powerlifitng equipment , very friendly bunch and other gym members are easy to talk to , your always have somebody here to spot you if needed so no need to worry about lifting Heavy as you can, and they will also give you pointers if needed.

Been with the 180 team for 8 weeks now on a remote training plan and seeing great improvements in my squat bench and deadlifts through awesome coaching plans and some fantastic pt sessions, as soon as they see any issues in technique I have popped in for a pt session and the knowledge unloaded has been fantastic a really given me the confidence to lift more.
