Majestic is by far the best gym in the south. It’s incredibly well run, there is never a dumbbell out of place, the gym is spotless and the music is pumping. They have created a culture of respect for the environment in everyone who uses the facilities and in turn they look after their members better than any other gym that I’ve been a member of. The equipment is a mix of new and old stool gear and are some of the best machines I’ve tried. It has a nice secluded boxing gym downstairs as well. Great bar for pre workouts and proteins and it’s always a great vibe. Majestic has a great reputation because it’s a great gym!

Best place to workout in Bournemouth. Between the immense amount of equipment for cardio and bodybuilding and the boxing gym downstairs you will be able to diversify your workouts continuously. The staff working there are very friendly and helpful. Always ready to answers question and give great advices to achieve the desired goals. Membership wise is 100% worth the money. Less expensive that many places I have been before which had even less equipment. The place can be busy in the evening like everywhere else but the amount of bench and machines and how it’s displayed makes it seems less crowded and I always find myself able to do superset’s training without being interrupted. Great atmosphere! Love it!

The gym is top of the range for any type of person into fitness, especially weight training. They have equipment I've never heard of before which really benefit my training and the equipment is really high quality. The atmosphere and staff are both very motivating and welcoming.

Over the past 18 years of training I’ve been to gyms all over the world and I’ve trained in many different modalities but this place really is a hidden gem! It’s hard to find a true bodybuilding gym like majestic… they are hardly any in the uk! Majestic has amazing equipment, welcoming staff, it’s professional but it has a home from home feel. The gym is full of the top best equipment, covering every muscle and you could loose yourself for a long time in here! If took me ages to get this review up as my google account wouldn’t work but it’s the first thing I did once it was fixed as I was that impressed with the gym! Whenever I visit Bournemouth I will make the most of majestic gym.

Undoubtedly one of the best gyms in the South. The team are so lovely and welcoming! I drive down from Southampton most weekends to train here and it is absolutley worth the journey. The equipment is second to none, and the gym is well stocked whilst offering plenty of space. The staff and members keep the gym really clean and tidy and the atmosphere is amazing. Even if youre not a big gym goer, or are a little nervous about attending, I would 100% recommend checking them out. Everyone is happy to help and is a more positive environment than any commercial gym I have ever been to. Cant recommend enough!

You won’t find a better gym around. Having visited various other gyms in the Dorset area over the last few months I have found the place that when I am visiting I will train at. Majestic gym is everything you need in a gym, friendly staff, great range of equipment and a brilliant atmosphere. It’s perfect for anyone into weight training. Very very impressed and can’t wait to return when I’m next in the area.

In my opinion Majestic is definitely the best gym in the area, there's a much wider variety of resistance machines and free weights, this gym is more based on achieving high results in fitness rather than sitting in a hot tub for an hour. The gym also has a bar for pre-workout drinks and protien shakes. Staff are polite and friendly and have very good knowledge in personal training.

Unrivalled mix of people & quality equipment - friendly place with a wide range of people & kit: all ages from teens -> septuagenarians and good mix of male/female - weights/resistance kit plus sunbed, changing rooms, cafe-bar upstairs + top-class martial arts / boxing downstairs, run by exceedingly knowledgeable owner & his 2IC who do everything themselves - they together with members are like an extended family… Chains can’t compete with this. Best gym around, worth spending the extra pennies (still not expensive) to get incomparable facilities and service, the staff are helpful and the gym has every piece of equipment you'll ever need 4 times over. Trained at all the other gyms in bournemouth over the last 3 years I've been here, was my first time at majestic today. Not worth wasting your time with any other gym in bournemouth when this one's doors are open.

The best gym I have ever trained in. I am a long term serious trainer that has trained in many gyms all over the world and Majestic Bournemouth is by far the best I have ever used. Up to 80kg set dumbbells, loads of free weights and the machines are set up correctly and feel fantastic. The owner understands the needs of a serious trainer and is always buying new and improved kit. Great people and atmosphere in there with music that puts most clubs to shame !!

I used this gym a few times and I love it. Great equipment. The best in the area. The owner is really nice and professional and the atmosphere is good. One thing I would say could be improved is the barbells. They aren’t great and i believe selling some unused equipment and investing in a rogue barbell will make this gym better

Joined this gym after recently moving to Bournemouth. I love it here. This gym has it all. Including great staff, good value supplements by the tub, convinient opening times and drinks made to go. The gym is never overcrowded and has a great general vibe. There is parking on site. An I can 100% recommend this gym to anyone.

I visit this gym few time and has good machines and atmosphire. Owner very nice and polite. 1 negative is the barbell quality is not good. Very slippery and worn out. Also dumbbells quality is not great. Handles always shaky and turning. Sell some machine peeple no use like ab machine and buy quality barbell. Thankyou

I've always been a member of a gym but majestic is by far the best so far . It's fully equipped gym is both clean and efficient, very well run. Along with free lockers and shower facilities it also offers sunbeds with cheap deals. Finally the over 18 membership rule is perfect for serious keep fit and bodybuilding enthusiasts

Hands down one of the best bodybuilding gyms in the area if not in the whole country. I was a member at majestic for 2.5 years and loved every second of it! The only reason I left is because I eventually transitioned to competitive CrossFit. Pros: - Modern/Polished environment while keeping the hardcore bodybuilding atmosphere - Friendly community - Accessible to newbies and competitive bodybuilders equally - B and Mike are very welcoming and encouraging - High end equipment - The owner loves the sport and loves his job which means the gym always gets upgraded with new equipment, new accessories etc. - If you’re serious about competing there are loads of experienced and seasoned athletes to get advise and guidance from. Cons: The only downside for me is that if you wanna try other strength elements i.e weightlifting, functional fitness, powerlifting (although there are some powerlifters in the house) there isn’t much room to try it because of the gym space capacity. It would be amazing if at some point in the future they added a ‘functional fitness’ space with lifting platforms and stuff. Overall Majestic is an amazing place, would recommend 10/10!

Having trained in many gyms around the UK while serving in the army, I can honestly say that no gym even comes close to the quality of equipment, the atmosphere and the support from the staff and also the people who train there! B the gym owner always goes above and beyond when it comes to supporting his members. Majestic is more than a gym, spend a few months here and you’ll feel like your apart of a family!

After Years of training in leisure centres, this gym has been a major step up for me in all aspects: -They have a huge Range of equipment to hit every last muscle. (I now have no excuse to skip calves as they have 5 machines for the bloody things) -Extremely Motivating environment with loads of athletes and experienced gym users around, all of which are friendly! -Owners are great and always up for a chat. -Gym has a homely, community feel rather than stepping into a commercial gym where everyone is in their own world trying to get in and out as quick as possible. -Cheaper monthly costs than all my previous gyms which offered half the equipment and experience. If you can find a better gym in the South i'd be surprised!

Majestics gym is a fantastic place to train and has a wonderful family atmosphere. I moved to the area 6 months ago and am so glad I found majestics and made it my gym home. The equipment is a mix of hammer strength resistance machines, and enough bars, plates and dumb bells to see anyone reach their goals. The atmosphere is incredible I've made best friends and gotten through some tough times thanks to training in such a positive environment with the gym proprietor 'b' there to chat to genuinely caring about his members well being. For me the majestics management team have become my good friends and among the most interesting people I've spoken to in years. There's a lot of testimony on here from people who aren't members and don't train at the gym how can you possibly have an opinion if you've never been there, what those reviews are are a collaborative attempt at trolling and you should be ashamed. B has his members backs if someone behaves innapropriately and makes other members uncomfortable with grounds for complaint I for one am glad he's got his members interests at heart when he asks someone behaving badly to leave. For that I thank you B and to all you guys trolling a place you've never been to, behave with respect and integrity and you'd be just as much part of the majestics family as I am not walking your un trained ass down into Boscombe High Street trying to convince Google your a victim of prejudice.
